As I walked down the road that evening..... the cold, refreshing air bath me, and I was grateful for that.
It helped get out from the thought of my family and the proposal for a while.
Walking long distances wasn't my great fit. So I went on a break cause my stomach was growling and a skin me to give it food.
Instantly I began regretting why I refused to eat at home.
I brought out my cellphone and went into my banking app and went to a near by store, wanting something to eat instantly.
When I entered the store I meet two people inside the cashier and a customer whom just bought some stuff... Not that I wanna know what she bought though.
I went to the chanter and got some chips and energy bars, along with soft drinks. I was planning to stay out for a long time at least make sure or pass a message to my parents that I was mad at them.
I went to the cashier and transferred what he told me was my bill.
"em, sir, your bill will be emmmh.....4Bucks, please" he told me.
"alright.... And.... Done." I told him after I transferred the money to him.
"thank you for your patronage, please come again next time sir" he said to me with what I should call a smile on his face.
He's young maybe younger than me or at the same age as me.... Not that I care.
I walked out the glass doors, and began my walking even if I do not know where am going. I just, wanted to walk and go where the night takes me.
My stomach remained me that it needs food and I need the energy to continue my journey. So I brought out an energy bar and munched on it and it was quit good for a locate store.
I walked and continued eating the energy bar in my hand and I moved onto the next and continued with the next.
What I was grateful was that the night was peaceful and calm just what I needed to think about what was next and what the future holds for me... It is so annoying to think sometimes you know. All I wanted at that hour was to just feel calm and relaxed but it was cut off with the annoying noise of someone stopping his or her car and calling out to me.
"young man, young man.... Hey am talking to you" he said... Just ignore the voice..... Just ignore the voice... "hey sir over here" he continued calling out to me.
Alright that's it.....i turned to see who was bold enough to disturb my peace "hey off all the time you needed to disturb me, why now" I told my self.
"yes what can I do for you sir," I asked with anger written over my face...
"Am soooo sorry.... I em... I needed directions on the nearest hotel.... Emm. I can find my girlfriend and I have been on a long day journey" he told me.
"drive down this road and take your left you will see an hotel, but is a cheap one if you don't mind" I replied
"thank you very much for the information, I will be on my way then... Good night young sir" he said as he walked to the direction of his car.
Jeez, was I just stopped to give directions to someone..... Well it doesn't matter now, I can now continue my own journey. I turn and began walking in a straight direction.
I need to find a spot to eat these snacks and rest for a bit.... OK where can rest to eat..... Hmmmm.... There will be great. I walked in the direction of the public park and sat on a chair under a tree and continue eating my snacks as I enjoyed my peaceful moments not wanting this to pass me by or come to an end.
After eating the snacks and drank the softdrink, I was filled and the noises going on in my stomach stopped... Finally..... The peace I deserve.
I relaxed with my back on the wooden bench and I looked in to the night stars... And there it was, the memory of my childhood looking into the stars wishing that I will become a star in this world.
"I wish to become a movie star and I will go to one of the biggest movie industries and the world will know and watch me" I said as a kid.
"then work hard dear little brother... OK, I will be in the sidelines cheering you on" my elder sister Mia told me.
"I will work hard you will see....." I sounded determined that no matter the cost I will achieve my dreams.
"that's the spirit (laughs)" my sister said.
Now that I remember that a smile creeped into my face "then I was happy then, but now I don't know what's next" I told myself.
I just wish that the air or something could tell me the answer that I was looking for.
Back at home.
"what is wrong with that boy?, he's making a big deal out of nothing. He should be grateful for this, for the all that he will and this family will enjoy in the nearby future..." my father said to my mother as he was remembering my words of our earlier conversation or should I have call it argument.
My mother replied with hurt in her voice " I don't know ..... I don't know. He seems to hate us even more."
" and one thing that I heard about Tim was, when he wants something he gets it... Even if it is a matter of time he gets it" my father said with some hint of pity in his words.... Is he pitying me, don't you dare pity me old man you caused it.
"and where was he going, he hasn't even been reported that he's back yet" my mother stated.
The beast of a father reply her with just " he will be back, don't you worry."
Sometimes I wish that the world would stand still for a while and I wouldn't have to over think things too much, but 8 was wrong... No matter how I struggle I know that I can't escape Tim. Am only entangling myself in spider webs the more.
" take care little brother, I wish you well in life. Farewell till I will be able to see you again" those were the words of my sister Mia, before living with George freeman as his wife.
"sister..... Am scared" those where the words that echoed from my mouth before I fell asleep on the wooden bench.
Unknowingly to my knowledge, some a**hole was monitoring me from the shadows, ensuring that I don't get hurt by someone or hurt my self....
"boss, I got my eyes on him... Yes sir... He's fine..... Yes sir, I understand.... Yes sir understood." the stranger from eailer replied immediately to Tim.
At Tim's residence.
"my little lamb..... My little lamb" Tim said through his lips with a smile on his face.
