One Week Later, S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ
The Avengers gathered around a conference table, Tony presenting tech upgrades. A gold portal opened, James stepping out with a floating metal case. "Look who's here," Tony grinned. "Superman visiting S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Banner adjusted his glasses, curious. Natasha leaned forward. "Big news?"
Hawkeye lounged. "Hope it's not doomsday."
Spider-Man waved. "Mr. Holden! Long time!"
Wolverine grinned. "The X-Kids miss you."
James smiled, setting the case down. "Got gifts from my space trip." He opened it, revealing blue vials and a silver antidote box. "Kree biotech, Skrull adaptability, my tweaks. Boosts strength dozens of times, random powers—flight, energy, mutation, invisibility. Luck-based."
Silence fell. Natasha asked, "What powers?"
"Anything," James shrugged. "Depends."
Hawkeye smirked. "Beats S.H.I.E.L.D.'s serum."
Banner asked, "Will it affect Hulk?"
"Boosts your base and adds powers," James said. "Hulk's already a beast."
Spider-Man raised a hand. "What if it clashes with my spider-sense?"
"It adapts," James said, eyeing Tony. "Who's first?"
Tony stood. "Me. Jarvis, prep the chamber."
Lab, Mirror Dimension
Tony lay in the chamber, blue serum injected. "Heart rate rising, cell activity surging, genes recombining," Jarvis reported. Tony's eyes flashed blue, leaping up, bouncing. "Jarvis, stats?"
"Muscle density up 47 times, bone strength—"
"Boring," Tony cut in, sprinting to a simulated city, leaping onto a building, lifting a truck single-handedly. Spider-Man gaped. "Captain America ProMax?"
Natasha smirked. "S.H.I.E.L.D.'s gym needs an upgrade."
Tony hovered, absorbing ambient energy. "Energy absorption?" Banner gasped.
Tony fired a blue energy blast, demolishing a building. Wolverine clapped. "You don't need armor now."
Tony grinned. "Mass-producible?"
"Yes," James said, raising fingers. "One, loyalty to S.H.I.E.L.D. forever—antidote to quit. Two, obey me and S.H.I.E.L.D. post-awakening."
Natasha stepped up. "I'm in."
Hawkeye followed. "Already S.H.I.E.L.D.'s."
Spider-Man hesitated. "Can I ask Aunt May?"
Wolverine laughed. "She'd want one too."
"Hold off," James said. "Tony's test first."
Tony hovered, feeling the energy. "Jarvis, 30% power, attack mode." His armor formed, gold-red. "Lock on me, fire."
Three repulsor blasts hit Tony's chest, rippling harmlessly. Natasha raised a brow. "Successful test."
Tony touched the spot. "92.8% damage conversion. Better than vibranium."
James nodded. "Kree biotech and Skrull adaptability. Don't push it."
Jarvis warned, "Unknown energy cycling. Further tests needed."
Tony grinned. "Jarvis, 100% power, charge cannon." His armor's reactor glowed, firing a massive beam. Tony leapt, punching it, blue energy clashing, leveling buildings. His armor smoked, right arm fried.
"Cool!" Spider-Man said. "Tankier than Hulk."
Banner muttered, "Want me to transform for a comparison?"
Wolverine smirked. "Save it, unless you want Tony meeting God."
