the sunless world

"Darkness was no longer just the absence of light…

It had become the very reason for humanity's survival to be questioned."

Year – 2700

It's been 300 years…

Since the sun vanished — and it never rose again.

No one knows what happened.

Some say it was an alien attack.

Others claim God Himself took away the light — a punishment for mankind's sins.

But the truth?

No one's ever uncovered it.

The sun is now just a story.

A bedtime tale parents whisper to their children.

A world where light existed. Where life thrived. Where warmth once touched the skin.

Today, only 15% of humanity remains.

How did we survive?

Let's begin the story…

The Seven Guardians: Rebirth of the World

🌎 Scene: Flashback to Year 2300

Everything was normal.

Children walking to school. Adults off to work.

The world felt like a happy dream.

Until—

Seven glowing orbs appeared in the sky, each radiating a different type of energy.

And then—

A blinding flash. So bright… it turned the whole world dark.

When people opened their eyes…

The light was gone.

Plants began to wither.

And above, only stars remained.

Panic. Riots. Collapse.

But amidst it all…

Something new was born.

A baby.

A newborn glowing with the same energy as those seven orbs.

People were terrified.

"This is the curse! The harbinger of the end!"

They tried to kill the child.

But it was as if nature itself refused to let him die.

Then a young man stepped forward—

Shinomi Takuya.

He picked the child up…

And from that moment, fate began to shift.

🧬 The Science of Survival

Everyone asked the same question:

"If the sun is gone… how are gravity and oxygen still working? How are we alive?"

The answer?

Gravia and Onigan.

Two mysterious species — one that generates gravity, the other that produces oxygen.

To many, they were divine.

Gods in living form.

And so, a new religion was born:

Solaneth.

A belief system built around worshipping these beings as the Sources of Life.

(A reminder of how quickly humanity creates gods from what it cannot understand.)

🌆 Scene Shift: City – Novachrono

A crumbling world.

Among the ruins, a shattered bridge.

And standing alone — a young man.

Silver hair. 5'10". A long, black coat.

His name: Kael.

And maybe… just maybe… he's the true protagonist of this tale.

(Or… maybe not.)

Kael has been alive for 300 years.

Since the very day the sun disappeared.

He was that very child…

The one Shinomi Takuya had saved.

But his life was anything but peaceful.

People feared to even touch him…

Because on his 18th birthday…

An ∞ (infinity) symbol appeared on his forehead.

Crowds screamed:

"He's cursed! He's the monster who devoured the sun!"

Even his own mother — Takuya's wife — said:

"You've brought sin into this house."

🔥 Kael's Past – Year 2410

(Age: 10)

A child by body…

But a man by soul.

Narration Box:

"From that day on… Kael was alive, but not living."

Scene:

A dark bunker. A faint beam of light slips through a crack.

Kael — a 10-year-old boy — sits silently on the cold floor.

There's no innocence in his eyes, only a tired wisdom.

The kind you'd expect from a man who's already lost everything.

🧃 Inner Monologue:

"I never knew what love felt like…

So I never cared to understand what having someone truly meant."

"They called me a demon.

So I stopped trying to know what humanity's love even meant."

🧓‍ Father-Son Bond

Narration Box:

At the age of five, his mother threw him out of the house.

Only one person stayed by his side — Shinomi Takuya.

Scene:

A broken shelter.

Takuya quietly places a lunchbox near Kael while he sleeps.

Kael opens his eyes slightly and smiles.

Kael:

"Dad… you left again without waking me."

Takuya (chuckling):

"What else could I do? Watching you sleep… it feels like there's still some peace left in this world."

Narration Box:

Kael trusted only one person in the entire world: Shinomi.

🧠 Existential Question

Kael:

"Dad… who am I?

Why are people afraid of me?

What really happened… ten years ago?"

Takuya (pausing):

"Son… that's a question even the world hasn't answered yet."

"Humans… they always want to feel superior.

And when they can't… they label what's different as 'cursed'."

☀️ The Great Collapse

Takuya continues:

"Back then… the world was at its peak.

We were mastering technology — gravity, antimatter, even space."

"But one day…

A blinding white flash — and then, the sun was gone."

"And after that… well, you already know the rest."

🌙 The Gravia & Onigan Mystery

"Then came the Gravia and Onigan…

And suddenly, there were two moons in the sky."

"People called it a miracle."

"But me?

I believe it's something much bigger — something… beyond human understanding."

🕊️ Final Moment

Kael (quietly):

"Dad… are you leaving again?"

Takuya (smiling):

"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow. Just came to tuck you in."

Kael:

"Dad… today was the first time I actually wanted to talk to someone…"

Narration Box:

But that tomorrow… never came.

🔥 Kael's Breaking Point

Narration Box:

The next morning, it happened.

A group called the Deltas attacked their village.

They killed everyone for food…

Even Kael's father.

Scene:

Kael sits among ruins, next to a body.

No tears. Just silence.

Inner Monologue:

"Maybe I wasn't a demon after all…

But the world sure made me one."

"Since that day… I never smiled again."

"I only want to know one thing—why?"

— Present Day — Year 2700—

Kael: One of the most wanted men in the Sunless World.

No one knows why.

He hasn't killed anyone. He hasn't started a war.

But one morning, his face appeared in every newspaper across the wastelands:

"Reward: 100 crore Kuwaites."

Since then, the entire world has hunted him.

They all whisper—

"There's something about him… something not human."

Kael (monologue):

"We're no longer far from our destination…

Eclipta."

Eclipta?

Who is that?

And what kind of place…is it
