Chapter 191 - Chapter 191 If Wisdom Had a Color, It Would Be Blue

"Tell me, quick!" Hui Hui grabbed Xia Wei's shoulders with both hands, as if clutching a lifeline.

She really wished she could go back ten minutes and harshly scold her past self for freeloading. She lost her Explosion Magic just for one meal; who knew this guy had such an exaggerated curse?

A curse from the world? She'd never even heard of it. Not even the Demon King had been cursed by the world, this guy was too exaggerated.

"Let me think. The world's curse should have been displayed on the Adventurer's Card," Xia Wei said seriously. "To lift the world's curse, you must do something equivalent to taking advantage of me, or pay an equivalent price."

Hui Hui quickly retrieved her Adventurer's Card from Luna's hand and pressed her finger on the symbol displaying 'World's Curse'.

"The world judged that you were about to starve to death, and this meal saved your life, so you must pay an equivalent life to lift it."

"Equivalent? Tell me, where is it equivalent?" Hui Hui's eyes nearly popped out as she vigorously shook Xia Wei's shoulders. "Where was I about to starve to death? Not eating for just two meals won't kill me!"

"That's not my business, you see, the world judged it," Xia Wei said innocently. Pfft! Of course, the world didn't judge it. It was simply sealing a magic spell and modifying the Adventurer's Card status, which was as easy as playing a game.

Not to mention him, any Genesis God could do it with ease.

"My life is over," Hui Hui collapsed onto the ground like a salted fish who had lost her dreams, her eyes devoid of light, tears welling up.

The Adventurer's Card floated out of her hand.

"This—" Luna looked at the dejected Hui Hui, feeling a bit flustered. This was the first time she had encountered such a situation in all her time working at the Adventurers' Guild.

"That curse is too exaggerated, isn't it?"

"He's terrifying, this man, to have one's most important possession taken away just for being taken advantage of."

"More terrifying than a Demon King Army executive."

"Maybe even more terrifying than the Demon King."

"No matter where he goes, no one would dare to provoke this man."

"I can guarantee that even the Demon King would hide far away from this man."

The Adventurers stared at Xia Wei in horror, everyone instinctively hiding against the walls, afraid of getting too close and being cursed.

Darkness, who had been curious for a while, caught the 'Adventurer's Card' and looked at it. Her mind, full of useless thoughts, instantly trembled with excitement.

"This, what an evil curse! I, I really wasn't mistaken!"

"This man, this man! He's incredibly evil! To actually have a curse that forces you to bear his children just for being taken advantage of! More terrifying than the Demon King!"

"Hiss, hiss, hiss!" Darkness didn't know what useless thoughts she had, her breathing became ragged, and her eyes burned as she looked at Xia Wei.

"What! Is it such a lewd curse? He's so handsome, though."

"Too terrifying, more evil than the Harem Monkey!"

The female Adventurers collectively shrieked, their cheeks flushed as they looked at Xia Wei, yet they showed no fear, only eagerness.

"Darkness, it clearly says that this Red Demon Clan girl avoided starving to death because of one meal, so she must pay an equivalent life as a price, how did you get to bearing children?!" Chris couldn't hold back and quickly explained for Xia Wei.

Oh my goodness, Lalatina, please don't say such terrifying things anymore.

I'm afraid Genesis God-sama will get angry because of the slander and pluck off my head, sob sob sob. Chris was already bawling in her heart.

"Isn't an equivalent life just giving birth to a child? The price of life, isn't giving him a child the meaning of the curse?" Darkness hugged her chest, immersed in her strange fantasy.

"Is, is that so? Is this a conspiracy against me?! I won't let you succeed!" Hui Hui instantly sprang up from the ground, blushing as she pointed at Xia Wei.

Then, she shyly lowered her head.

"If, if I absolutely have to have a child to lift the curse, then, it's not impossible."

"But, but I don't even know your name, and I don't know if we're compatible. How about we get on the bus before buying the ticket, lift the curse first, and then have the child?"

"What do you think?" Hui Hui slammed her hand on the table, leaning forward, her face almost touching Xia Wei's forehead.

"By the way—you believed her? You believed the words of that female knight whose head is full of useless thoughts?" Xia Wei pointed at Darkness, speechless.

"I believe it, I absolutely believe it! Isn't it written very clearly?" Hui Hui took back her Adventurer's Card and pointed at the curse symbol.

"To directly insult me as a female knight with a head full of useless thoughts, hmm~" Darkness took a step back, utterly enraptured. He actually saw through her essence in one go, she really wasn't mistaken! He was a man comparable to the Demon King.

He saw through her true nature, this man must already be planning how to use that curse to make her bear children, hiss—"She's hopeless," Chris slapped her hand over her face. Her devout follower and good friend was completely beyond saving.

"Actually, this curse might disappear in a few days. The world is a dummy, it forgets quickly. Once the world forgets, the curse will disappear," Xia Wei waved his hand.

"Really? How can a curse just disappear?" Hui Hui looked unconvinced.

"The world is that absurd, trust me," Xia Wei said with a straight face.

"Okay, I believe you," Hui Hui nodded. She believed him again. It seemed the world was indeed that absurd, strange things often happened, and she had experienced it firsthand since childhood.

"If it doesn't disappear in a few days, I'll pester you for the rest of my life! You have to be responsible for my Explosion Magic!"

This curse must be this guy's prank to tease her for freeloading. She was one of the Red Demon Clan's top Arch-Wizards, a genius who graduated first in her class from the Red Demon Clan school.

Hmph, if it disappears during this time, it must be this guy's doing. If it doesn't disappear, there must be a way to lift it since it's a curse. Don't underestimate my love for Explosion Magic, you scoundrel!

Just then, the Guild's door opened.

The atmosphere was broken, and everyone looked towards the entrance in unison.

A man wearing a tracksuit with messy short hair, clearly a shut-in NEET, walked in through the door. Another girl, wearing a blue dress, with long blue hair reaching her knees, had an undeniably beautiful face, but her eyes were filled with a clear, innocent foolishness.

"Huh~ What's going on, why is everyone staring at me!" The NEET in the tracksuit's originally confident expression instantly crumbled under the collective gaze of the Adventurers, revealing his lack of confidence as he frantically looked left and right.

"Uh—could, could it be that we've arrived at a gangster hideout—" Aqua shivered, quickly pointing at the tracksuit NEET: "It's him, it's him, this friendless, girlfriend-less shut-in NEET who barged in. It has nothing to do with me, so if there's anything, find him."

"No way, you traitor! You just betrayed me!" Satou Kazuma looked in disbelief at the Goddess who had already retreated out the door behind him.
