What...is going on here...?
Pinned beneath Oguri Cap—who was currently hugging his arm, seriously and diligently licking and sucking his fingers as if savoring a lollipop—Kitahara Sota was utterly stupefied.
Just moments ago, he'd been about to explain to Oguri the strange glowing phenomenon on his hand.
Then, without warning, Oguri Cap's eyes had suddenly shifted, like a shark detecting blood in the water.
In the next instant, she lunged fiercely, toppling him onto the sofa and mounting him. Then, lowering her head, she'd grabbed his arm, and things had evolved into...this.
"Oguri...? Can you hear me?"
Kitahara spoke softly, cautiously attempting communication.
Yet Oguri merely kept her head lowered, completely engrossed in savoring the astounding delicacy in her grasp, ignoring his words entirely.
Just what the hell is this situation...?
After his failed attempt at calling out, seeing Oguri Cap had seemingly fallen into some bizarre state, Kitahara chose not to risk agitating her further. He didn't resist; instead, he deliberately relaxed his body, cooperating with Oguri's actions to avoid potential trouble.
Fortunately, although her actions were somewhat alarming, Oguri wasn't doing anything overly aggressive.
After pinning him, she hadn't tried to bite or anything similar, merely repeatedly licking his fingers.
Occasionally, perhaps unsatisfied with merely licking, she'd take his finger into her mouth. She'd suck on it while her tongue meticulously circled around it, thoroughly savoring the taste before moving on to the next finger—repeating the cycle endlessly.
After being "eaten" in this manner for a while, Kitahara's expression began to subtly shift.
Initially, he'd barely noticed, but now he clearly realized:
As Oguri Cap continued to "consume," the strange energy wrapped around his palm was gradually diminishing bit by bit.
Is it because of this...?
Feeling the changes in his palm, Kitahara paused thoughtfully, deciding to test out a theory.
He relaxed, closed his eyes, and then focused his mind...
Drawing it forth, guiding it, he released that energy from his wrist...
Before Kitahara even reopened his eyes, the very instant he released that energy from his wrist, a soft, moist sensation enveloped it immediately.
So it really is about this, huh...
But knowing the cause didn't mean he knew the solution.
When he opened his eyes, Oguri Cap was still earnestly licking his wrist. Her tongue was already somewhat stiff from exertion, yet she showed absolutely no signs of stopping.
Direct resistance? Definitely not.
Though Kitahara did have a few countermeasures capable of stopping Oguri under these circumstances, one misstep could easily injure her.
Moreover, even though she was currently just quietly licking his hand, if his sudden movements startled her and he failed to restrain her instantly, things might spiral out of control very quickly.
Let her keep licking indefinitely? Also not an option.
Although there was still some time before midday training ended, Kitahara knew all too well about Oguri Cap's appetite.
Forget about just this short period—if she truly got serious, Oguri could eat nonstop for an entire day without rest.
If he just let her continue like this, chances were high they'd remain in this exact position even after the others had finished lunch and returned for afternoon rest.
And that wasn't even the worst-case scenario.
The worst part was that while the energy on his hand clearly held some attraction for Uma Musume, it was ultimately intangible and probably couldn't fill a hungry stomach like actual food.
Right now, Oguri Cap looked well-behaved and docile enough, but once some time passed, especially around lunchtime—
Given her current state, combined with increasing hunger, things might genuinely take a literal, physical turn, and she might just outright eat him.
This is bad...
Though Eclipse was currently beside him and had even—extremely unusually—offered assistance after sensing his distress, the problem was the same as his own methods:
Due to various reasons, Eclipse often misjudged her strength when intervening. After careful consideration, Kitahara decided against asking her for help for now.
Instead, he instructed her to remain on standby as his last resort, only intervening if absolutely necessary.
After hearing Kitahara's decision, Eclipse simply nodded, continuing to idle nearby, quietly enduring the endless chatter of the three troublemakers beside her.
And so, time ticked on.
Just as Kitahara feared, despite a considerable amount of time passing and sweat gradually appearing on her skin, Oguri Cap showed absolutely no intention of stopping.
This really can't go on...
Kitahara gazed at Oguri Cap, helplessness growing in his eyes.
Over this time, he'd considered numerous ways to break out of this awkward situation.
However, all those methods either carried risks, might cause Oguri Cap harm, or both—none of them felt truly appropriate.
But now, seeing the sun climbing higher outside the window, and hearing Oguri's stomach occasionally emitting faint, hungry grumbles, continuing like this would definitely end poorly.
If things keep going like this, lunchtime will arrive soon... Given her current condition, if she gets genuinely hungry, then...
At this thought, Kitahara suddenly paused.
Wait—hungry?
Snapping back to reality, Kitahara carefully observed Oguri Cap, who was still diligently licking the energy from his hand. Gradually, his expression became subtle.
He hadn't realized it at first—
But now that he'd thought about it clearly, Kitahara suddenly understood: in a certain sense, Oguri Cap could actually be said to be "eating" right now.
Only, unlike normal meals, which consisted of physical food—
Despite her massive appetite, thanks to her impressive Uma Musume physiology and special eating techniques, Oguri could finish meals in roughly the same timeframe as anyone else.
But now, faced with this abnormal "meal," forget rapid consumption—even though she was licking and sucking vigorously, her "eating speed" was appallingly slow.
But if—if he could somehow speed up her consumption, filling her "stomach," then maybe she'd finally return to normal...
Honestly, Kitahara wasn't at all certain of this hypothesis.
But given the current situation, he didn't exactly have much choice. After brief hesitation, he ultimately decided to try it.
If it still failed, he'd let Eclipse handle the aftermath.
Thinking thus, Kitahara closed his eyes once again and began carefully guiding the energy from within himself.
Drawing it forth, guiding it forward, releasing it through the tips of his fingers...
Exactly as he anticipated, once he released this energy from his fingertips, Oguri Cap immediately shifted position, taking that finger deeply into her mouth.
But this time, unlike before, after Oguri held his finger in her mouth, Kitahara didn't simply remain passive.
Instead, following her swallowing motion, he gently pressed his finger even deeper, proactively rubbing against the base of her tongue.
Perhaps due to how deeply the finger penetrated, Oguri's expression briefly twisted into discomfort.
But very quickly, thanks to Kitahara's soothing actions and the gradually increasing output of energy from his fingertip, that discomfort swiftly faded away.
A few moments later, as she gradually adapted to this new sensation—
Oguri's face once again displayed that same blissful satisfaction as before, even actively cooperating with Kitahara's movements.
Once he'd reassured himself Oguri wasn't about to bite his finger off, Kitahara breathed a relieved sigh, then began his next step.
During previous experiments, Kitahara had discovered that strange energy remained controllable even after leaving his body, though significantly harder to manage without a physical medium.
But that was fine.
Right now, he didn't need any fine control—all he had to do was disperse it and send it straight into Oguri Cap's stomach.
...Wait. Is it even supposed to go into the stomach...?
Just as Kitahara began directing that energy into Oguri's abdomen, he suddenly realized this critical question.
After all, this wasn't ordinary food. Although it looked like Oguri was "eating," Kitahara wasn't entirely certain exactly which organ actually digested this strange energy.
But thankfully, very quickly, as he continued actively "feeding" her, Oguri's expression grew increasingly contented, and the pressure pinning him down steadily lessened.
Good. Looks like I didn't pick the wrong spot.
Seeing her reaction, Kitahara breathed another sigh of relief.
Yet just as he prepared to maintain this state, intending to quickly satisfy Oguri and end this mess—
Alongside the continuous influx of energy, Kitahara abruptly experienced an extraordinary sensation.
Because he wasn't yet skilled in manipulating this energy, he'd kept his eyes closed throughout the process.
But now, despite still being physically blind, as more energy accumulated inside Oguri, Kitahara suddenly realized he could somehow "see."
It wasn't normal sight, nor regular vision—it felt closer to touch.
The images weren't generated by retinal input of light.
Instead, the "image" came through collisions created by his own energy now circulating within Oguri, forming echoes that gradually outlined her contours.
Yet this was not the end—this was only the beginning.
After infusing a certain amount of energy, Kitahara was surprised to discover that the energy Oguri had swallowed hadn't dispersed at all—it was actually being stored inside her body.
Not just stored, either. When his ongoing influx of energy linked up with the previously swallowed energy, he realized, to his astonishment, that he'd regained control over those portions she'd already "eaten."
Why does it look like this stuff isn't digestible at all? It's not going to upset her stomach later, right...? Kitahara wondered silently.
But just as he voiced this quiet worry, a sudden change occurred.
It was as if a blacked-out city had abruptly regained power; as Kitahara connected with and regained control of that stored energy, the "touch" sensation rapidly increased. Like countless lights flickering on across a cityscape, Oguri's outline in front of him instantly became much clearer.
Yet that wasn't the end.
Guided by the energy stored within Oguri, Kitahara quickly linked up with the countless strands of energy now flowing outward, continuously circulating inside her body.
His "touch" sensation exploded instantly. The image grew sharper, no longer merely outlining a silhouette—finer details now began to appear.
They looked like veins and nerves, spreading intricately throughout her entire body. Complex, chaotic, yet possessing an uncanny beauty, as though following some hidden logic.
Yet upon closer inspection, these patterns matched neither human nor Uma Musume anatomy.
And scattered among them were many things yet to be clearly drawn—things already drawn, yet impossible to put into words.
There was no warmth, no physical substance—but unmistakably, he felt their "touch."
Although the scene clearly bore Oguri's outline, on closer inspection, there were numerous discrepancies between this image and the actual Oguri Cap, along with some indescribably strange things lingering within.
Had another trainer encountered this, they'd likely assume it was a hallucination. Even if they didn't, they'd have no clue what it was, much less investigate further.
But Kitahara was different.
As he gazed upon that eerie image and felt the variety of "touches" emanating from within Oguri, a vague but deeply familiar sensation slowly emerged in his heart.
Why does this thing feel oddly similar to Sunday Silence...?
The moment he realized this, Kitahara instantly understood he'd stumbled upon something extraordinary.
But before Kitahara could explore further, another unexpected development interrupted him.
Due to the relatively short time since that energy's creation—and given the rapid and intense injection he'd performed moments ago—by the time Kitahara noticed, the energy flow from his body had already become intermittent.
The scene in front of him, due to these fluctuations, began flickering and blurring, making it impossible for him to observe any further details. Even maintaining the current image was beyond his capabilities now.
Luckily, despite the dwindling energy supply, Oguri Cap was already full—perhaps even slightly overstuffed—from his earlier, frenzied feeding.
In fact, before the energy became intermittent, Oguri's eyes had already regained their clarity.
It was only because Kitahara still had his eyes closed—and because the finger in her mouth was far too delicious—that she hadn't yet been willing to let go.
On Kitahara's side, realizing his energy reserves were nearly depleted, and sensing that Oguri's grip on him had relaxed to the point it was almost nonexistent, he finally sighed in relief and decided not to continue.
Yet despite deciding to stop, Kitahara didn't immediately withdraw.
After all, this was his first time using this strange energy. Though the energy flow from his body was dwindling, he was still connected to and controlling a large amount of energy within Oguri's body.
If he released it abruptly, any unforeseen accident might injure her.
To be safe, despite his waning supply, Kitahara forced himself to carefully relocate all remaining energy into the spot within Oguri where he'd previously sensed it being stored.
Only after confirming everything was in place and waiting quietly for a bit to ensure nothing went wrong, did he slowly and carefully release his control.
The process went smoothly, and nothing abnormal happened afterward.
Just to be extra cautious, Kitahara kept his eyes closed for several more minutes. Once certain that the energy inside Oguri had completely stabilized, he finally opened his eyes.
Seeing Kitahara open his eyes, Oguri Cap—who was secretly still sucking on his finger—froze momentarily, trying to think of how to explain herself. However, Kitahara beat her to the punch.
"Don't speak yet, and don't move," he said quietly. "First, carefully check yourself—do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
Oguri blinked blankly, then obediently did as he instructed, carefully sensing every inch of her body. Still holding Kitahara's finger in her mouth, she finally replied in a muffled voice.
"I feel a little hungry..."
After a brief pause, she added softly, "My tongue and jaw also feel kind of sore..."
Obviously. You were licking me forever just now, Kitahara mentally retorted. Confirming that she was fine, he slowly pulled away the finger that was drenched—still dripping, actually—in Oguri's saliva.
Then Kitahara took out a tissue, cleaning off his finger and the other places she'd licked, preparing to ask Oguri about what had just happened.
But before he could think of how to phrase the question, Oguri Cap blinked in confusion, then spoke again.
"Um, Trainer Kitahara, I'm not uncomfortable exactly, but my lower belly feels a bit warm, and kind of… um… never mind, it's nothing."
Lower belly...feels warm?
Kitahara froze, then glanced down at Oguri Cap's abdomen.
Because Oguri's Racing Outfit left her navel exposed (primarily to accommodate her occasionally excessive appetite), Kitahara could easily see a faint glow emanating there—strikingly similar to the glow previously surrounding his own hand.
Initially, Kitahara intended to visually check and then confirm via the system if anything was wrong with her.
Yet unexpectedly, when Kitahara glanced toward her belly, Oguri, wanting to help him see clearly, promptly tugged her skirt lower while lifting her shirt higher.
Under normal circumstances, Kitahara would absolutely stop her from doing something like this, followed by a stern lecture afterward.
But after clearly seeing what appeared on Oguri Cap's abdomen, Kitahara's words got stuck in his throat. Eyes wide, he stared directly at Oguri's lower belly, swallowing unconsciously.
Don't misunderstand—he hadn't seen anything inappropriate, nor had he suddenly developed impure intentions toward Oguri Cap.
He was simply stunned by what he saw.
And it wasn't just him. After lifting her clothes and seeing the strange new marking on her lower belly, Oguri Cap was similarly surprised.
"Trainer Kitahara, did you draw this on me just now? It's kind of pretty..." she murmured softly, reaching down to curiously touch the intricate, purplish-pink glowing patterns. However, she couldn't physically feel anything, as if the markings were beneath her skin.
"Of course I didn't..." Kitahara started to deny automatically, but stopped abruptly, reconsidering his words.
After a long silence, Kitahara, staring at those extremely suspicious patterns on Oguri's abdomen, spoke again with difficulty.
"Um... Oguri, could I touch that spot? Just for a second."
"Of course, go ahead," Oguri immediately nodded, enthusiastically cooperating by leaning even closer toward him.
She even tried pulling her skirt down further, worried he wouldn't get a clear enough view—though Kitahara quickly stopped her.
After halting Oguri's overly helpful gesture, Kitahara hesitated briefly. Finally, cautiously, he raised his hand and gently pressed his palm against the strange, familiar marking on her lower belly.
The instant his hand made contact, the sensation of familiar control flooded back into him, and Kitahara finally saw clearly what the marking truly was.
This wasn't just some decorative pattern—it was actually excess energy overflowing from where he'd stored it earlier within Oguri Cap's body.
As for why it appeared specifically on her lower abdomen...
Kitahara paused to reconsider. Though he'd initially thought he'd placed the energy into Oguri's stomach—
Now, reflecting more carefully, Kitahara's expression gradually turned complicated.
Because that spot, if he recalled correctly, was actually...considerably lower than her stomach.
