Jon's blood boiled in anger. His shitty half brother was trying to steal his woman right in front of him. How could he not feel angry?
Like a storm, he got in between the two and glared at Nathan, "She already have a lover.'
"Who is it?" Nathan asked, feeling angry and anxious.
The moment he had set his eyes on actually had a man? Didn't it mean Melody was second hand goods?
As for the reason he was anxious, it was because he knew women were sentimental beings. What if she decides to turn him down despite all the benefits it could bring her because her heart already belonged to another?!
"You are looking at him," Jon said.
Nathan scoffed, "A toad dares to lust after a swan."
As if that wasn't enough, he even dared to scold Jon.
"How shameless!"
In response to his scolding, Jon rolled his eyes.
"Are you sure you are not talking about yourself?"
He wasn't the one desperately trying to steal another man's woman. So how come he was shameless. The shameless one was naturally Nathan.
Perhaps Nathan also realized that, so his face turned a little red from embarrassment, but he was a stubborn like his father.
He wasn't going to give up on obtaining Melody just because she belonged to Jon.

Do you want to stick with this loser and be burdened down by him your whole life? Or do you want to get together with me. Someone who's worthy of you?"
Nathan looked at her eagerly.
He believed she wouldn't turn him down if she wanted the best life.
