Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Crash Landing in Another World

The lab shook as the giant time machine roared to life. Blue lightning crackled across its metal frame, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Mak Yun stood at the center of it all, his body crackling with energy.

He wasn't just human anymore.

Beneath his skin, the Zenon Pulse—a top-secret military implant—thrummed with power. It turned his mind into a supercomputer, letting him analyze anything in an instant. Right now, it was screaming warnings at him.

Zenon Pulse was made from an unknown material of the universe.....

"Warning: Energy spike detected. Containment failure imminent."

The scientists around him scrambled, shouting into comms. "Shut it down! The core is overloading!"

The world exploded in blue fire.

A Warrior in a Strange New World

Mak Yun woke up facedown in mud.

His head pounded. His body ached. The Zenon Pulse flickered in his vision, its systems struggling to reboot.

A notification flashed in his vision:

**>> Temporal Displacement Detected.

Current Era: Unknown.

Energy Signature: Qi detected. Adaptation required.**

Mak Yun clenched his fists. Qi? Like in those old martial arts stories?

A cold laugh escaped him. They didn't just send him back in time—they threw him into a world of warriors and ancient power.

He lay sprawled on rough earth, beneath a sky filled not with neon lights or soaring towers, but endless blue and ancient trees. Around him, the scent of earth and grass replaced sterile metal.

Rising unsteadily, he touched his body — the zenon pluse beneath his skin pulsed faintly, the only remnant of his former life.

His memories flooded back: the failed experiment, the temporal rift, and now… he was in a different era, a different world.

Before him lay a small village, humble and worn — the domain of the Mak manor.

And he was no longer the prodigy of Neo-Eden. Here, he was Mak Yun, the weak son of a forgotten family.

His crimson eyes narrowed with resolve. The advanced chip in his body might be powerful, but in this world of martial prowess and ancient traditions, it was only a tool — and he had much to learn.

The journey from the stars to the shadows had only just begun...
