Chapter-21: mess caused by meat buns part- 4
"I'm not, I didn't, stop hitting me." The stick flew towards other people, and everyone fell to their knees and begged for mercy wherever he hit them. Brother Jerry Lark hurried forward to help his father up.
Wilson's clothes were torn, his hair was spread out, and his eyes were full of annoyance. "I just tasted one bite of my meat bun." The buns had been snatched away and divided among several people and eaten by them.

In the past few days she signed in every day and got many miscellaneous things from water sacks to some money, simple food and clothes. Also she can only do daily sign in and cannot do the sign in of the prison again.
She doesn't mind these things and everything is stored in her space secretly for the time being. When it is required she can take them out to use. There are few blueprints in the sign in rewards like the blue print for a spring useful for carts.
She thought of many things and also the location she would be sent to as a soldier. This means she would be the meat shield or the cannon fodder for the soldiers of the border area. For a woman things can be worse than that.
When a war comes, you have to go to the battlefield to fight, and you can become cannon fodder if you are not careful. Moreover, many people did not make it to their destination and died of illness during exile.
