Chapter 208
"A social structure must have a decision-making body."
"The decision maker is either one person, the king-"
"Or multiple people, such as the Central 46."
Yuta briefly explained that the next in command in Hueco Mundo was Tia Harribel, and as long as there was no invasion by a powerful enemy, there would be no major problems.
When Yuta was about to leave, he unexpectedly saw Starrk and Lilynette working to rebuild Las Noches.
"Starrk, I didn't expect you to be here too…"
Starrk stacked a brick and replied, "Well, I have nothing else to do in the palace, so why not help rebuild it with everyone and make it livelier?"
"Ah! It's the bad guy, Yuta!" Lilynette planted one hand on her hip and pointed at Yuta with the other, staring wide-eyed in mock surprise. The next moment Yuta appeared behind her in an instant and lightly knocked his forehead against hers. "Who's the bad guy?"
"Ow ow ow~!" Lilynette clutched her forehead and shouted that she wasn't the bad one. She complained that her head was about to split from the hit and swore she would bite him. Then she and Yuta exchanged blows in their usual rough but harmless scuffle.
When it was over, Lilynette lay sprawled on the ground, exhausted, her eyes spinning with dizziness. Yuta dusted off his hands and prepared to leave.
This time, however, Neliel grabbed onto Yuta's sleeve. She refused to let him move, her eyes filling with tears. "Waaaaah! Yuta, don't leave!"
Pesche and Dondochakka quickly added their voices.
"That's right, Yuta! If you return to Soul Society this time, we might not see you for years!"
"Soul Society is so dangerous, and those Shinigami are terrifying…"
"Why don't you just remain in Hueco Mundo and play our endless chase game with us?"
Yuta sighed and extended his hand, condensing kidō into a simple marker that he placed onto Nel's body. "I should be in the Human World for some time. If you want to see me, come through the Garganta to the Human World and you'll be able to sense my location through this."
Nel's sobbing stopped as she looked up at him with wide eyes. "Really?"
"Really."
"Then I'll take in a little more of Yuta's energy." Nel buried herself against him, breathing deeply, before finally letting him out of her arms reluctantly.

Soul Society.
Kidōshū Headquarters.
Order was maintained here, with operations carefully arranged by Aizen Sōsuke.
During this period, Kurenai had risen to the rank of Third Seat through his own effort. Meanwhile, the trio Mikami and co had achieved the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Seat positions respectively.
"Soyosuke, are you interested in attending the academy?"
"Academy?" Aizen paused at the question, his expression briefly unreadable.
-
In the Human World.
As they walked, Kurosaki Yuzu, dressed in pink, stared quietly at one house for a long time. Her gaze lingered without moving away. Kurosaki Karin, in blue, noticed and turned her attention toward her sister.
"Hey, are you still thinking about Yuta-san today?"
Yuzu lowered her head, her eyes dropping to her feet. "I… I'm just worried about Yuta-san's safety. After the war, I don't know how he's been doing."
Karin leaned closer and asked, "Is it just worry?"
"Stop it, Karin!" Yuzu's face flushed red and she ran off ahead to avoid further teasing.
Karin sighed to herself. Yuta's constant acts of bravery had clearly left a strong impression on her sister. Sometimes Yuzu drifted into a daze as if captured by thoughts of him. The fact that her feelings were directed toward Yuta meant there was still a possibility, but Karin also knew that Shinigami and humans living together was complicated. Yuzu's growing emotions might one day fade-or might never be expressed at all.
At that moment, Yuzu collided with someone while running. The impact knocked her backward as if she had hit a wall, but before she struck the ground, a hand caught her firmly and pulled her into a steady embrace.
"Are you alright?"
Yuzu's world spun for a moment before she realized she had fallen against a familiar chest. She looked up and froze in shock. "Yuta-san!"
Yuta set her gently on her feet and patted her head. "What's the matter? Why are you running so fast?"
Yuzu narrowed her eyes and savored the brief contact as his hand brushed her hair, but when he withdrew it too soon, she snapped out of her thoughts and replied shyly, "Ah… um… that… The fireworks festival is starting soon. Would Yuta-san see it with us?"
Karin, who had been startled when her sister bumped into someone, rushed forward to help. She calmed slightly when she noticed the man holding Yuzu was Yuta. She stepped back as Yuzu's excitement carried forward.
Yuta considered it, and since he had no immediate plans, he agreed. Hearing his answer, Yuzu jumped happily and leaned up to kiss his face quickly before skipping away, her expression full of joy.
Karin sighed, then turned to Yuta. "Yuta-san, please don't take it to heart. My sister is like this. If she says something wrong, forgive her."
Yuta nodded lightly, letting the matter pass. Karin bit her thumb in thought, hesitating with something on her mind until he noticed and asked directly, "If you have something to say, just say it."
Karin drew in a deep breath, raised her head, and looked straight into his eyes. "I… I hope Yuta-san can teach me more about how to control spiritual power."
Recently, Karin had felt her own spirit energy strengthening day by day. Perhaps, like her brother Kurosaki Ichigo, she had inherited both Shinigami and Quincy lineage, and extraordinary power awakened within her. Before, she had only been able to see spirits clearly. Now, with her growing strength, those spirits were solid in her eyes, indistinguishable from living people.
Even so, she had always pretended not to notice them. For her, ignoring them was the same as not being able to see them at all.
