SCENE AT SCHOOL
Setting: Lunchtime. Dan is sitting under the tree near the sports field with his friends—Yuri, Haruki, and Reo.
Reo(chewing a snack):
"Dude, you've been zoning out since last week. Is something bothering you?"
Dan (softly):
"…I feel like something's missing."
Yuri (leaning back):
"Like what?"
Dan:
"I don't know. Someone, maybe."
(Just then, a delivery man approaches the group. He's carrying a small wrapped box.)
Delivery Man:
"Sorry to interrupt—Is this Class 2-A?"
Yuri:
"Yeah. Who's it for?"
Delivery Man:
"Uh… Dan jiang?"
Dan (blinking):
"Huh? That's me."
(Instead of handing it to Dan, the delivery man gives it to Yuri.)
Delivery Man:
"Student policy. Girls usually keep things more organized."
(He smiles faintly and walks off.)
Yuri (teasing):
"Ooh, secret admirer? Let's open it, Mr. Popular."
(Dan unwraps it slowly. Everyone leans in. The moment the fan falls into his hands, the air changes.)
Reo(softly):
"…That's beautiful."
Yuri (pointing):
"There's a note. Read it."
✉️ THE LETTER (Anonymous)
"There are people who cheer from the sidelines, quietly.
You may not notice them, but every step you took—someone was watching.
Someone smiled when you smiled.
Someone looked up when you ran past.
Someone believed in you… even if you didn't know.
This is a little goodbye from that someone.
A rabbit who sat on the bleachers, cheering without sound.
They left not because they wanted to,
But because sometimes, the world calls you to be stronger than you want to be.
And if you ever wonder whether you were loved—
Even silently—
The answer is yes.
Good luck in your next race.
You don't run alone."
Dan (whispers):
"…She was watching."
Ren:
"Who?"
Dan (quietly, more to himself):
"I don't know…
Or maybe I do.
But she never said it."
(He closes the fan gently and stares out toward the empty bleachers.)
Dan (in a soft breath):
"I'm sorry… I didn't see you."
🌙 EMOTIONAL AFTERTONE
Dan doesn't know for sure it was Mao.
But something in the drawing. Something in the letter.
Something about the quiet voice behind those words—tells his heart the truth.
He doesn't cry.
He doesn't ask anyone.
But that fan stays in his school bag, always—folded, worn, quietly loved.
And the next time he runs a race,
He looks at the bleachers once.
Just once.
The wind carries a soft chill. Mao and Minho stand just outside the school gates. Their luggage has already been sent ahead. Their father, Geto, has taken a taxi early to the airport to prepare check-in formalities.
He didn't ask why Mao wanted to stay behind for an extra hour.
He simply nodded—perhaps already knowing.
Now, as the wind gently ruffles her school uniform for the last time, Mao kneels down to Minho's height, her face soft but unreadable.
🎮 The Task
Mao (softly):
"Minho… Do you want to play something fun with your big sister?"
Minho (tilting his head):
"Right now…? Before we fly?"
Mao (smiling faintly):
"Mm-hm. And if you do it well, I'll buy you five chocolates the moment we land in Japan."
Minho (gasps):
"F-Five?! I'll do anything!! What is it, tell me!"
Mao smiles, her eyes glassy but still gentle.
Mao:
"You have to go to a boy. A handsome boy. His name is Dan. He's near the track now, with his friends. You can't miss him."
Minho (narrowing his eyes):
"…Is this a trap?"
Mao (laughs softly):
"Maybe. But it's a sweet trap."
Minho (suspicious):
"What do I have to say?"
Mao:
"First, walk up to him and say, 'You're really handsome.' Then tell him to kneel down."
Minho (jaw dropping):
"Kneel?! That's so weird!!"
Mao (with mock sternness):
"Minho… if you do it, I'll get you your favorite chocolate brand."
Minho (groaning):
"Okay fine, okay okay okay—what next?!"
Mao leans forward and kisses Minho on the cheek—soft and lingering, as if placing a secret there.
Mao:
"Then kiss him on the same cheek I kissed. And tell him… to give you a kiss back. In the exact same place."
Minho (eyes wide):
"WHAT—?!"
Mao (playful but firm):
"You said you'd do anything for five chocolates."
Minho (resigned, covering his face):
"This is the hardest quest ever… okay, I'll do it."
She smooths his hair, holding back the trembling in her hands. Then she adds one last thing:
Mao (gently):
"And if the brother asks who sent you… don't tell my name. Just say:
'Macha is calling me. Bye-bye, Brother. Goodbye.'"
Minho (nodding seriously):
"Macha is calling me. Okay."
Mao (quietly, more to herself):
"Do this for me, my little star. I'll always be grateful to you."
Dan is standing near the school track with his friends—Yuri, Reo, and Haruki—casually chatting about training for the upcoming meet. Laughter bubbles in the air. But Dan's mind seems distant. He keeps glancing toward the road as if expecting someone.
That's when a small boy with a backpack marches toward them, face stiff, mission-focused.
Minho (to himself):
"You can do this, Minho. For chocolate. For Macha."
He stops right in front of Dan.
Minho (loudly):
"YOU'RE REALLY Handsome Oppa!"
(Dan and his friends freeze mid-sentence.)
Yuri:
"Wait, what?"
Dan (blinking):
"Um… thank you?"
Minho (hands on hips):
"Kneel down."
Dan:
"Wait, what's happening—?"
reo (laughing):
"Bro, just do it. This kid's serious!"
Dan kneels down, confused but slightly amused. The moment his face lowers to Minho's level—
Minho leans forward and kisses Dan on the cheek, right where Mao kissed him earlier that morning.
Then Minho steps back, face red, then puffs his chest and says:
Minho:
"Now, you have to kiss me back. On the same cheek."
Dan (startled):
"Wha—wait—who are you?! Who sent you?!"
Minho (softly):
"Macha is calling me. Bye-bye, Brother. Goodbye."
Before Dan can react, Minho turns around and runs off toward the taxi, where Mao stands waiting at a distance, a soft smile on her face—but tears streaming down silently.
She watches her little brother running back to her with pride.
And from far away, Dan watches the boy run into the arms of a girl who then steps into a waiting car… and disappears.
🕊️ Final Frame
Dan touches the cheek where Minho kissed him.
Then he realizes—he felt this warmth before. Once. Maybe in a dream.
But now it's gone.
🌙 Narration:
She didn't ask for a reply.
She didn't want a confession.
She only wanted her goodbye… to reach him once.
And it did. Through the purest messenger she had.
The boy who called her "Onee-chan."
And the boy who unknowingly kissed the last love letter of a girl who loved in silence.
Really silly for a girl who need or a who want a indirect kiss but it's for me i think it's my goodbye gift from dan..... 😊😊😊
