Lu Ye's eyes widened. That was it?! The dramatic showdown just vanished in an instant?!

Green: "Training."
Lu Ye blinked in surprise. He casually sidestepped disaster. "So this is... the Battle Legend." he murmured.
Lorelei: "Gold, which city are you in? I'll be visiting Johto soon. Let's have a match (smile)."
Teacher Lu: "The daycare near Goldenrod City."
Lorelei: "Okay, thanks, Teacher Lu. (Red's Pikachu emoji)"
Lu Ye eyed the emoji Lorelei sent, his eyes lighting up. Hey, this emoji looks good! He saved the rolling Pikachu emoji to his collection. Rubbing his chin, he muttered, "I should have Haunter and Eevee do a photoshoot for emojis too. If I charge for them, I'll be making money!" Even small amounts add up over time. Eventually, he could pay off his debt!
Satisfied, Lu Ye nodded. "Can't forget about that incentive bonus either… I'll record more footage and grind through the editing!"
Complaints aside, Lu Ye opened Pokémon: Battle. In his friend list, "Cabbage Ice Cream" was online alone. Feeling soft-hearted, he typed, "Wanna play a round?"

Cynthia, having just finished a day's work, was tired. But Lu Ye's invitation brought a smile to her lips. Her competitive spirit flared, and she nodded gently. "Well played."
"My pleasure," Teacher Lu replied humbly.
"How's the game release going?"
"It's okay." Lu Ye sighed internally. But right now, the earnings still couldn't compare to spending an evening playing with her... Although he once thought of getting Cynthia to do an ad, as the Sinnoh Champion, that favor was too big for him to cash in on. Debts were fine, but he avoided owing personal favors.
"I already owe enough…" Lu Ye thought wryly.
Cynthia nodded, half-understanding. She didn't grasp business, but she was happy to help Lu Ye. Exiting the chat, she murmured, "Once I'm free... I'll help promote Teacher Lu's game."

Teacher Lu: "Again?"
Gold: "Bring it!"
An hour later, looking at the pile of "4-0" clips, Lu Ye nodded in satisfaction. As expected, the Egg Hatcher delivers!
Teacher Lu: "Thanks for your hard work."
Gold felt his confidence shatter. Dirty tactics were one thing—but he's also a fast attacker?! "It must be a fluke," Gold gritted his teeth. "I don't believe it. One more!"
As midnight approached, Lu Ye compiled Gold's clips and finished editing the video. Feeling a pang of guilt, he murmured, "Maybe… I should pay Gold a fee next time?"
But for now, the video was ready. He glanced at the drowsy Eevee on his lap and smiled, ruffling its head. He clicked "Upload."
