Chapter 83 - Theme: Revenge of a Wronged Spirit

Wang Zhaoyang tricked Li Na into his family's hotel, got her drunk, and took her to a room where he photographed her in compromising situations. Using these photos, he blackmailed her into becoming his girlfriend.

Li Na didn't want to comply, but she had no choice. From then on, she obeyed his every call, knowing that if she refused, Wang would threaten to post her naked photos online for everyone to see.

Li Na came from a humble background. She knew Wang Zhaoyang's family was wealthy and influential, far beyond her ability to offend, so she endured it in silence. For a long time, she lived under his control, in constant fear.

Yet, even that alone wasn't enough to drive her to suicide.

What truly pushed her over the edge was when Wang Zhaoyang sent her photos to a friend of his, who then secretly contacted her, demanding a date. Li Na refused and confronted Wang about it.

Wang brushed it off, even telling her to accompany his friend.

It was then Li Na realized that Wang had never cared about her at all—she was nothing but a toy to him. Heartbroken and powerless, the years of humiliation finally broke her.

She chose to end her life in her own bathtub, slitting her wrists until the water ran red.

Before dying, her hatred toward Wang Zhaoyang was boundless. She swore that even as a ghost, she would never let him go.

To her surprise, after death, she truly became a ghost—a vengeful one.

That very night, she found Wang Zhaoyang, who was partying with friends. The moment she saw him, her fury erupted. She possessed him, causing him to collapse to the floor, foaming at the mouth.

Using his body, she smashed his head into walls and bottles, terrifying his friends. They restrained him and called his parents.

Even at the hospital, his madness continued. Wang's father, sensing something unnatural, called in a mystic. The expert quickly extracted Li Na's spirit and interrogated her, threatening to scatter her soul if she didn't answer.

Frightened but still full of resentment, Li Na revealed everything.

Wang Zhaoyang's crime was severe—exposure could ruin him. And with university ahead, his family couldn't risk scandal.

So, in a ruthless move, they decided to erase all evidence. They hired the mystic to place a deadly "Annihilation Curse" at Li Na's family grave, ensuring that if her entire family died, no one would know the truth.

Hearing her story, my face darkened. We were classmates for years, yet Wang could be this vicious—not only killing Li Na but plotting to wipe out her family.

I had already suspected Wang's involvement in her death. Even earlier today, those troublemakers who came after me were likely sent by him, worried I might uncover the truth.

I looked at Li Na and reassured her, "Don't worry, I've already broken the curse on your family. Your parents and sister are safe."

Tears welled in her ghostly eyes. "Wu Jie, thank you. You've always been the kindest to me. I knew you'd save me."

"Do you still want revenge?" I asked.

"Yes. I want to kill Wang Zhaoyang. Even if my soul is destroyed, I'll kill him," she said firmly.

"He might come here soon. Your chance is coming."

Not long after, the sound of cars came from the gate, followed by urgent knocking. Uncle Huzi ran over. "Young Master, the Wang family is here to see you."

"I told you, I'm not seeing anyone," I replied.

"Yes, Young Master," he said, hurrying off.

I picked up the blood-filled urn from the corner and, with Li Na's spirit beside me, crept up to the rooftop platform where I could see the gate without being spotted.

Several luxury cars were parked outside. Standing at the entrance were two familiar figures—Wang Zhaoyang and his father, Wang Wende—accompanied by seven or eight men.

Wang Zhaoyang looked miserable, his body shrouded in heavy deathly aura, several mutilated evil spirits gnawing at his life force. He trembled like an addict, coughing violently.

Wang Wende was pleading with Uncle Huzi.

"Brother, please let me see your young master. I truly have urgent business," he begged.

"Our young master isn't home. He's away for several days," Uncle Huzi replied coldly.

"Someone saw him come home just now. Please, just let us see him," Wang Wende insisted.

"When I say no, it means no. Are you deaf?" Uncle Huzi snapped.

Do you want me to continue translating the next part of this scene right away? I can keep the same suspenseful tone.
