The earth-shaking roars of ninjutsu echoed like thunder over the forest.
"Yellow flash we're going to kill you!!!"
Seven Iwa Jonin, their eyes bloodshot with rage, lunged from behind craggy formations. The death of their comrade still burned in their minds like a fresh wound. Hands wove into rapid seals, each performing their most destructive Earth Release techniques.
"Tsuchidō Ryūdan no Jutsu!" (Earth Dragon Bullet Technique)
"Gan Tetsu Hōdan!" (Rock and Iron Cannon)
"Tsuchidō Dairetsu!" (Earth Flow Great River)
"Tsuchidō Dangan Dan!" (Earth Bomb Barrage)
"Tsuchidō ····"
…and more filled the battlefield.
The earth heaved. Cracks shot forward like spiderwebs. A massive stream of mud surged toward Minato, accompanied by stone bullets and a rain of sharp rock shards—each technique designed to flatten mountains and bury cities.
"Heh…"
Minato's golden hair danced under the pressure. His eyes didn't flinch. No fear. No hesitation.
"Good… Then I'll show you what I've learned."
With calm precision, he pulled out a black-handled kunai, inscribed with the same swirling seals of the Flying Thunder God technique. But there was something new — faint, pale blue lightning danced along its edge.
"Raikō Hanketsu Enjin – Thunder Judgment Field!"
Minato slammed the kunai into the ground. A sphere of bluish electricity burst outward in a dome-like shape. As the incoming ninjutsu approached—rock bullets, lava boulders, mud rivers—all collided with the electric barrier…
And then—
FSSSSHHH!!
The entire field twisted with space and thunder—the ninjutsu attacks didn't explode or break the dome. Instead, they were sucked into thin air. Twisted. Absorbed.
The enemy watched in shock as their most powerful jutsus disappeared, not even a trace of dust left.
"W-Where did our attacks go…!?"
"Did he just eat our jutsu with lightning?!"
"No, this isn't ninjutsu… It's something else…"
Minato tilted his head slightly.
"Your attacks aren't bad… but too slow."
"You should take them back."
Suddenly—behind the seven shinobi—a massive electrical ripple split the air like a thunderclap. Seven miniature storm gates appeared behind each enemy, and from within them, the very same Earth Release techniques they had just fired were redirected back—but now supercharged with thunder.
Each technique was now coated in Raijin Energy, a unique attribute Minato had unlocked using his Goro Goro no Mi abilities. Stone and mud now cracked with lightning; rock bullets moved at sound-breaking speed.
"Goro Goro no Mi Technique – Rai Kōhen: Return to Sender!"
BOOOOOOOM!!!
A thunderous explosion swallowed the battlefield in a blinding white-blue haze. The enemies didn't even have time to scream—just the briefest moment of regret as their own attacks hit them tenfold stronger.

Minato exhaled, his fingers crackling with residual electricity.
"Obito, Kakashi, Rin… the operation's begun. Don't falter."

"Huh… Is there no one left in Konoha? Even children were sent?"
The Iwa-nin sneered as he launched himself from the shadows, his speed shocking for someone so broad-shouldered.
Kakashi barely reacted in time, raising his kunai and parrying the blow. Sparks flew.
The forest erupted into chaos.
The enemy came down hard, his fists like hammers, forcing Kakashi back step by step. Even with elite reflexes, Kakashi was on the back foot.
"Damn, he's too fast," Kakashi muttered, dodging a sharp knee to the ribs.
"There's the flaw, little ghost!!" roared the enemy, spotting an opening. A punch to the stomach connected, sending Kakashi hurtling into a tree with a sickening crunch.
"Aghk—!!"
Blood sprayed from his lips. His body shook as he forced himself upright, every breath painful.
"Kakashi!!!" Rin cried, running to his side.
Obito's fists clenched. He hated how much he cared for the guy who always acted cold — but seeing Kakashi fall lit a fire in his heart. "Hey! Don't die on us, you bastard!"
Kakashi winced, wiping blood from his mouth. "Don't worry… I'm not going down like that."
Then he looked at them with a pained grin. "Obito… Rin… buy me a moment."
Rin blinked. "What are you planning?"
Kakashi's gaze hardened. "Something new. My own ninjutsu—Chidori."
