Everyone looked at Iseul with a complicated expression.
"Did anyone see me?" she repeated herself louder this time.
Loadon answered, tilting his head thoughtfully as if pondering the question.
"Mm, probability of that happening is possibly 65% chance of witnesses. Other is 45% chance of no one seeing."
Iseul clutched her head and slid to the floor as she hugged her knees.
"Oh my Domination! My life is over!"
Loadon continued explaining, not reading the room.
"Creator also made a large commotion at the scrapyard. Though Loadon did destroy footage, there's still a possibility of investigation with common logic."
Though she didn't even know half of it nor would she feel better after Loadon finished telling her.
Iseul jumped to her feet to pace in a circle.
"Oh my Domination! Forget about my life being over — I won't have any life to live."
She was patted on the head and looked up to see who it was.
"Don't worry, don't worry. All we have to do is just make sure to avoid suspicion." Chul-jun tried to soothe her.
The others nodded in agreement.
They quickly tried to comfort her though it wasn't helping much.
"We aren't exactly sure. We rushed out of there so quickly—" Ji-ho spoke up first.
Iseul turned to him for question and clarification, but Haewon spoke up first before she got a chance to ask him anything.
Haewon looked down, tears glimmering with gratitude.
"You saved me, Iseul. You shouldn't have been able to — were and did."
Iseul's lips trembled.
Is that even possible?!
'It's possible for us,' her gift responded in her mind before its presence completely disappeared.
"How?! Hey, don't disappear and ignore me?!" she shouted mentally to it, but received no response.
Tsk.
"So it's really true." Tears brimmed in her eyes as she spoke with disbelief.
Iseul didn't even know that something like that was possible, gift or not.
"What am I gonna do? My gift is different from what others describe. It can communicate its thoughts and feelings of its own. The defective thing won't work properly or listen!" she cried, clenching her hair, frustratedly in distress and worry.
She really felt mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted.
She took a deep breath, hands curling into fists.
"Just calm down, you have us, right? We'll figure it out as a group. We're not gonna throw you out to the mutant radi wolves."
Choon-hee helped Iseul remove her fingers that were tightly clenched and tangled in her hair from her tugging.
Chul-jun rejoined the conversation after taking a sip of his tea.
"Mm. Yeah, even if they do suspect you, all you have to do is keep Loadon hidden and learn how to tame your gift to be able to control and use it properly."
The others nodded, agreeing with him wholeheartedly.
Iseul was not rejecting what they were saying or the help that they were offering; she just felt that they were a bit too lax for her taste.
They didn't know.
Did none of them care about the attention of the TGCDG?!
"But such a big commotion, they'll mean to send someone to investigate!"
Iseul paused, not even wanting to say the name of the organization that all get their fear.
Everyone fell into a collective silence, not thinking that far ahead.
No one could meet her eyes.
Even Joon-seok, Haewon and Ji-ho, as they were originally from Main World.
They have never had issues or problems with the TGCDG ever coming to investigate anything, at least where they lived.
Though everyone has heard nothing but horrible rumors about such an organization.
They all would rather prefer to avoid them like stage 3 radiation poisoning.
Still, they tried to calm her and cheer her up.
"The TGCDG don't dare to come to Scrapper Moon. They know what type of territory this is, right?" Chang-min joked heartily.
He wrapped his arm around Iseul's shoulder, shaking it.
"Mmm! Yeah, those types of organizations have better places to be with more powerful criminals to catch than to come here." Chul-jun chipped in while eating the snacks Gullius brought a bit ago.
"It's been a long time since they've come here." Chang-min told Iseul.
"Gauntlets happen all the time here with gifters. The TGCDG have never come to investigate. Don't worry." Haewon walked over to Iseul rubbing her head.
"That's true, especially with the bosses and ganglords when they get riled up at meetings over territory."
Choon-hee voiced her agreement, holding Iseul's hand confidently, though inside she was feeling unease about this one.
Still, she'll be there if you step all the way to support her young friend.
They all knew that such a publicizing commotion would definitely gain attention of unwanted individuals and parties.
Iseul looked at them all — her friends, her brothers, sisters and her creation — for the first time in a while, she smiled.
Though only slightly.
"Okay," she said finally, voice quiet but unwavering.
Chul-jun grinned, relief flooding his face. "See? I told you she could handle it."
They all knew that such a publicizing commotion would definitely gain attention of unwanted individuals and parties.
"Then I have to explore all traits of my gift, whatever it is — I'll cont— tame it."
Ji-ho smiled faintly. "That's the Iseul we know."
Loadon's optics dimmed to a soft glow. "Creator will not face this alone. Loadon will always carry the loads that the Creator cannot."
"So will we," Chang-min spoke up.
Sigh.
"We're also family."
Haewon sighed as she hugged Iseul from the side.
It wasn't a fragile sigh of relief.
It was quiet determination.
"Then let's start tomorrow," Joon-seok said. "No more running. No more hiding."
The group nodded.
Joon-seok Villa, for the first time in hours, felt somewhat peaceful again.
Not because the temporary danger was gone, but because they had decided to face whatever came next together.
They did know the TGCDG may come, but they didn't know — they were already 10 hours away from landing on their moon planet in their Neo-Seoul sector.
