Chapter 147 - Merlin Save Us!

Victor received Luna's signal and nodded with a smile, causing her face to instantly light up with a brilliant grin.

"Something's not right, Professor!" a Hufflepuff student noticed Luna's strange behavior. "From the looks of it, Lovegood has something else up her sleeve!"

Professor Sprout also looked on nervously. Hufflepuff had already played their trump card. If they couldn't win now, they might have to forfeit.

On the arena, Luna raised her wand and performed the opening of the wizarding dueling bow, indicating that she had accepted the challenge from Rolf and his magical creature.

Seeing this, Rolf's expression immediately became serious. He raised his wand and said, "Alright then... be careful, Miss Lovegood. Kano, let's go!"

The Occamy pushed off with its two legs and flicked its tail, flying towards Luna at a speed that was almost too fast for the eye to follow.

Luna, in response to the Occamy's rapid attack, first used her Patronus to stall it, then pointed her wand at her heart and said softly, "Receive Synchronization!"

A brilliant pink-purple flash of light erupted. A pink-purple magic circle slowly unfolded behind Luna, and the Occamy, which had dodged the Patronus, immediately stopped. Its feathers trembled, and it made a sound like a crow, signifying its nervousness.

"My goodness! What is that?!" The crowd gasped in shock, as this was the first time they had ever witnessed a complete magic circle.

A pair of golden-red wings suddenly sprouted from Luna's back. As she flapped her wings, an intense fire erupted. At the same time, her eyes turned into vertical slits, giving her a chilling aura.

"That's Dreyar's magic!" The Hufflepuff students below were in an uproar, shouting to themselves that she had finally used it!

"Oh no!" Rolf's face fell. He didn't expect Luna to have already learned Victor's magic.

Luna simply glanced at the Occamy, which immediately cowered and refused to move. Then she waved her hand, and a golden-red ring of fire surrounded the Occamy. The flames didn't hurt the creature, but the natural suppression from the Basilisk's gaze combined with the Phoenix's flames made the Occamy feel extreme fear on an instinctive level, and it let out a shriek of terror.

"Kano!" Rolf shouted nervously, wanting to rush forward to save his magical creature, but the intense heat from the phoenix fire made it impossible for him to move a single step.

After hearing the Occamy's screams, and after a moment of deliberation, Rolf ultimately decided to forfeit. He immediately shouted, "I surrender! I surrender! Please don't hurt Kano!"

As soon as he finished, the flames disappeared, and the Occamy immediately darted back into Rolf's case without looking back, where it trembled in fear.

With that, Hufflepuff's attack failed, and Luna Lovegood of Fairy Tail won!

The Hufflepuff students stared at Luna, who was slowly flapping her wings on the platform. They all looked at their Head of House at the same time. "Professor, what should we do now?" a Hufflepuff student asked.

Professor Sprout blinked and was stunned for a moment before she answered, "Children, why don't we go get some lunch…"

And for the rest of the time, no one saw Hufflepuff try to attack the arena again. The Hufflepuff students had completely given up.

Destroyed! We can't win! We might as well go back and eat something delicious. It'll make us feel better, the Hufflepuff students grumbled to themselves, their mouths full of food.

At the same time, Luna's display of the complete magic circle created an uproar.

"What kind of magic is that? I've never seen it before!"

"It looks like some kind of rune or an alchemical symbol, but charms and alchemy don't look like that!"

"Could it be some kind of ancient magic? Victor Dreyar has the inheritance of both Ravenclaw and Slytherin!"

"It's possible. Otherwise, there's no way to explain where this magic came from!"

"I think you guys are focusing on the wrong thing! Didn't you notice that when Lovegood used that magic, she gained the abilities of a magical creature?!"

"You're right, that's a big deal. You know, even an ordinary magical creature of level 3X can cause a lot of trouble for an Auror-level wizard. But Lovegood seemed to be using the power of a phoenix!"

"I think I saw a few people from the Ministry of Magic leave in a hurry. Fairy Tail is probably in trouble."

"You're overreacting…"

"You don't know the Ministry of Magic's character? They haven't even caught a single Death Eater in all these years. They're useless!"

"Speaking of which, it's thanks to Mr. Dreyar for revealing the identity of the Dark Lord. Otherwise, those damned people would still be hiding in the shadows, and we wouldn't know when they would come out and hurt people!"

As the wizards in the stands discussed, they suddenly turned their attention to the Ministry of Magic. From this, it was clear that Victor's public relations battle had already started to pay off…

At the Fairy Tail arena.

"I'm so bored~" Scarlia sat cross-legged in the center of the arena, holding her pale cheek. "Is anyone coming? Does anyone want to challenge me?"

Whoosh… A breeze of loneliness blew by. The other Houses were too busy trying to reclaim their own arenas from Fairy Tail to send out any extra people to attack.

"Scarlia, if no one's coming, you can come down!" Victor shouted from a distance. Anyway, no one was coming, so he might as well just leave the arena empty. If someone did come, he would send someone up. After all, he wasn't the kind of cruel boss who would make his employees stay at their post even when there was nothing to do.

"YEAY! Thank you, Master!" Scarlia jumped down from the platform excitedly.

Just then, Penelope, who was in charge of guarding the camp, walked up to Victor and handed him a glass of iced latte. "Try this. I just made it…"

It was June, and although the weather in the UK was relatively mild, it was still quite hot under the sun.

"Thank you." Victor took the glass, which was covered in condensation, and drank a few big gulps. He instantly felt refreshed. "Ah, that's so nice~"

Penelope smiled and looked at the other arenas in the distance. "How is everyone doing?"

"Not bad. If all goes well, our guild should get a clean sweep."

"Should?" Penelope was confused. "Is the attack not going well on one of the arenas?" She had a feeling that Victor's tone was a bit helpless, and she had known him for a long time and rarely heard him use such an uncertain word.

Victor sighed and pointed at the Gryffindor arena in the distance. Penelope followed his finger and a few drops of cold sweat formed on her forehead.

At the Gryffindor arena, the young lions had sent out their ace team, a few members of Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club. They used a Transfiguration Charm to turn an item into a Mountain Troll, and with a few large wooden clubs, it smashed Ron's tortoise shell.

And because of the traitor "Percy," the young lion who was responsible for attacking the arena had turned the Mountain Troll into an Acromantula, which scared Ron so badly he passed out.

That's right. The thing Ron feared most was spiders. To him, they were even scarier than his mother, Molly Weasley…

After Gryffindor reclaimed their arena, since Harry and the others were only second-years, according to the rules, they could only send up to fourth-year students to attack. So, to conserve their strength, Professor McGonagall immediately replaced the defender with a sixth-year student from the Transfiguration Club.

Facing this student, who had mastered the most powerful Transfiguration in the entire Gryffindor House, Harry and the others were at a loss. They were all defeated after repeated attempts.

So, to complete the task Victor had given them, they decided to discuss a strategy before attacking again. Now, they didn't have to worry about the other young lions, except for the members of Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Club, because they weren't their opponents.

So, they only had to face seven opponents: one third-year, three fourth-years, two fifth-years, and one sixth-year. As long as they took care of those two fifth-years and the sixth-year, they would basically have the win in the bag.

After thinking for a moment, Harry and the others decided to bring out their big gun!

Ginny, who had been sitting on the sidelines, shyly walked onto the platform.

When the crowd saw this, they all turned their attention to her, curious to see what this seemingly frail girl would do.

Mrs. Weasley, holding a pair of binoculars, saw her daughter go up. Her face was stunned, and she muttered, "Oh… Merlin save us…"
