(The Truth Revealed)
Greta's mind was reeling as she listened to Alexander's words. She was the daughter of a powerful crime lord? Her memories had been erased to protect her from her father's enemies? It was too much to take in.
But as she looked into Alexander's eyes, she saw the truth there. He was telling her the truth, and she knew she had to trust him.
"What happened to my father?" Greta asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alexander's expression turned somber. "Your father was a powerful man," he said. "He was the head of the Morano crime family, and he controlled a significant portion of the city's underworld. But he was also ruthless, and he made many enemies."
Greta felt a shiver run down her spine. "What did he do?" she asked.
Alexander hesitated, his eyes locked onto hers. "He was involved in many things, Greta," he said. "Extortion, racketeering, murder. He was a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted."
Greta's eyes widened. She couldn't believe it. Her father was a monster.
"What did he do to me?" Greta asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alexander's expression softened. "You were just a child when your father's enemies tried to kill you," he said. "They kidnapped you and tried to use you as leverage against your father. But I was able to rescue you and erase your memories to protect you."
Greta felt a wave of emotions wash over her. She was grateful to Alexander for saving her, but she was also angry at her father for putting her in danger.
"Why did you help me?" Greta asked, her eyes locked onto Alexander's.
Alexander's expression turned introspective. "I knew your father," he said. "We were allies, but we also had our differences. When I found out about the attempt on your life, I knew I had to act fast. I couldn't just stand by and watch you die."
Greta nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Alexander. She didn't know what she would have done without him.
As they sat there in silence, Greta's mind was racing. She was the daughter of a crime lord? She had been in danger her whole life? It was too much to take in.
But as she looked into Alexander's eyes, she knew that she had found someone who would protect her, no matter what.
"What's going to happen now?" Greta asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alexander's expression turned determined. "We'll face whatever comes next together," he said. "I'll protect you, Greta. I promise."
Greta felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew she could trust Alexander, and she was grateful for his protection.
As they sat there, Greta realized that she had a choice to make. She could let her past define her, or she could use it as a chance to start anew. She looked at Alexander, and she knew what she wanted to do.
"I want to know more about my father," Greta said, her voice firm. "I want to know everything."
Alexander's expression turned somber. "Are you sure?" he asked.
Greta nodded. "Yes," she said. "I need to know."
Alexander nodded, his eyes locked onto hers. "Okay," he said. "I'll tell you everything I know."
