A heavy silence surrounded Faizi Tian as he sat in meditation. His eyes were closed, but inside, a storm raged. The moment his soul connected with that divine altar, the seal over his suppressed memories shattered.
Suddenly, his world turned black and white.
The village… the fire… his mother's scream.
The warm hand that held his, now gone cold.
His father's bloodied sword clashing with a demonic beast's claw.
"No…!"
Faizi Tian opened his eyes wide, but he wasn't in the present. He had fallen into the depths of his own past.
Years ago, when the demons invaded their peaceful village, Faizi Tian was just a child — fragile, naive, and unaware of what fate had written for him. His parents stood to protect their land, sacrificing their lives so that he could escape. That night left a scar deeper than any blade.
From that day onward, Faizi Tian had only one purpose — revenge.
The flashback deepened.
He remembered the cave he had stumbled into after days of wandering in the wilderness. He remembered collapsing in front of an old man with silver hair — the first person who taught him the basics of cultivation.
"Power is not a gift. It is forged in pain," the old man said.
And so it began. Faizi Tian's first cultivation realm — Body Refinement.
He endured crushing boulders, poison trials, and nightmarish illusions — each one pushing his limits.
He advanced to the next realm — Spirit Foundation.
Here, he learned to control internal energy, forming his first martial spirit: The Flame of Rebirth. A spirit born from pain, loss, and an unbreakable will.
As years passed, he reached the third realm — Soul Ascension. His soul became strong enough to resist demonic corruption, and he learned the Divine Soul Locking Technique, capable of sealing even the most powerful evil spirits.
But then came a turning point.
At the edge of a destroyed battlefield, he saw bodies of countless cultivators who had died fighting demons. Among them were young ones — children like him. That day, he realized revenge alone wasn't enough.
He had to create a sanctuary — a place where no child would lose their family.
And so, Faizi Tian founded the Faizi Syed Ancient Sect.
At the same place where his parents had died, he planted the first stone of his sect. He carved their names into the sacred pillar and vowed —
"This land shall no longer know fear. It shall become the cradle of divine warriors."
In time, powerful cultivators joined him. Some were survivors, others were broken souls seeking purpose. He gave them power, trained them in sacred techniques, and shared his vision.
The sect grew — from a lone cave to a mountain fortress.
Disciples began to call him "The Flame King," not because of his fire spirit, but because he lit a fire in the hearts of the broken.
And now…
That memory faded.
Back in the present, Faizi Tian slowly opened his eyes. His aura was calmer, yet deadlier than before. He stood up, his cloak flowing like flame, eyes burning with clarity.
"I remember who I am…
I remember why I fight…
And now, the real war begins."
With that vow echoing in his soul, he stepped into the next chamber.
