The gang slowly approach Kami; he drops his bag ready to fight and one of the guys jump at him trying to stab him from behind. Kami dodges and responds with a spinning kick towards another member.
The rest of them start running towards Kami, there's six of them including the two that he has already knocked out. The other four run at him with their weapons out, Kami starts laughing at them before attacking them too.
One tries to stab him and dodges and hits another on the throat, he immediately grabs the arm of the man who tried to stab him, and karate chops it, breaking his arm. The man screams in agony before a sudden rifle appears behind Kami's head.
''I wouldn't think of making another move.''
Kami gets his hands up while and grins. ''Come on man, there really isn't a need to kill me is there.''
''Shut up kid.'' The man hits him behind the neck and knocks Kami out unconscious.
The man and his group pack up whatever stuff Kami was carrying on his shoulder and one of them drags Kami by his legs. Barely able to move and open his eyes, Kami sees the men drag him and one of them is stumbling while holding his broken arm.
''This fucking idiot! He broke my arm!'' He grunts. ''I'll kill him for this.''
''Calm down, would ya? The captain said that if we find strong people we should take them to him. And this kid looked pretty strong.''
They drag for a while until arriving in front of a huge ship-like vehicle, a Gravetread.
[A gravetread is a large vehicle people use to travel around the world with. Known for being used by bandits to travel from region to region. It's also mostly used on land but can transport on any surface that's at the earth's crust.]
They take him inside the gravetread and towards the room where their captain is supposed to be. When they're inside the room there's someone waiting for them sitting in darkness. The bandits throw Kami on the floor.
''Captain... we got something for you.'' The throw Kami's bag next to him.
Kami finally forces himself to get to his feet, he looks around and the room is filled with members of the gang. He looks towards the end of the room and there's someone on a chair, the gold jewelry around their neck and teeth reflecting through the dark that covers his face.
He finally shows himself while smiling at Kami, his smile menacing with the gold on his making it worse than it is. He steps off the chair and approaches Kami slowly, every step he takes closer raising more concern for Kami.
''So, my boys have told me that found you in the middle of these woods.'' The man touches his face and squeezes his chin. Kami looks at him confused, ''Didn't your parents tell you how dangerous this forest is?'' He breaths down in Kami's face.
''No... but my uncle did.'' He grins while pushing the man away.
''Your uncle did.'' He scoffs. ''Everyone! You heard that? His uncle told him to.'' The man starts laughing and his crew start doing laughing too afterwards.
He immediately changes his facial expression from laughing to serious after looking straight into Kami's eyes. ''Do you know who I am kid?''
''No...''
''I'm Edward Burne, captain of the Burne Bandits. What's your name?''
''Kami Van Hellsin, the future King of the world. Nice to meet you.'' Kami stretches his hand out for a handshake
Buckingham stares at Kami and the whole room is quiet, and they suddenly break into laughter. ''Did he... just say he'll become king of the world?! Hahaha!''
Kami looks at them confused, and while still laughing Burne pulls out a revolver and points it to Kami's forehead. He smiles at him.
''You're really funny kid, but this is no time for jokes... Anyways, my crew members tell me that you beat four of them and broke an arm in the process. You must be strong I can give you that, but you do know what that means right?''
''That your crew shouldn't attack me next time?''
''Didn't I warn you about your jokes? And doing something to my crew means that you owe me, and the fact that you broke the arm of my chef you'd have to pay a huge debt.'' He steps closer to Kami's face. ''But lucky you, I'll allow your debt to disappear if you join my crew.''
''No thank you.''
Everyone in the room reacts in shock, and Burne's face changes from a sly smirk to infuriated. ''Ha! Then you'll have to die.''
He shoots the gun, and Kami reacts beforehand by dodging the bullet. Everyone looks at him expecting to see him dead on the ground but he's no there. Burne looks up and sees Kami standing upside down on the ceiling with his legs around the ceiling frame.
Kami smiles at him while waving at him.
''Kill him!'' Burne shouts as he follows it up with gun shots, but Kami dodges it by moving around the room and the bullets go through the room. More of the Burne Bandits barge in the room trying to see what the commotion is about.
They see their fellow crew members attempting to attack Kami who's jumping around the room and fending off their weapons. The also join the party by trying to hurt Kami, but he is too fast for them. After seeing an opening to escape, he steps on their heads while running towards the door.
''How is he moving like that!'' One of the members cries.
''This must be the use of a relic power!'' Another answers.
Kami gets out of the room and lands out outside the gravetread, but he's in the middle of more members. They all charge at him with their swords and weapons, and Kami manages fight them off by kicking and punching his way through.
Realizing that the men that were inside the captain's room are now coming outside, He steps on one of their heads again and uses it as leverage to make a huge jump that lands him outside the gravetread and on the ground.
He starts running while laughing. ''See yah!''
''Go find him and bring me his head!'' Burne shouts while pointing his gun at the sky.
Kami runs in the shadows of the trees, not knowing which direction he's heading through the shadows of the trees. He can hear the bandits behind him in a distance; he finds a place to hide between the tree branches when the bandits are close to catching up to him.
A group of them arrive at area where Kami is hiding, they look around. ''You guys go that way and we'll take this route.'' The group split up as they are searching for him through the bushes. While searching one group hears a growl within the bushes.
''What's that?''
A figure emerges from the bushes and it's the lion from earlier, they let out a loud scream catching the attention of their fellow crew members. The lion shows it's fangs and attacks them by jumping at them with its claws sharp.
Kami uses this as a chance to escape and starts running again, the men start screaming pain while the lion is attacking them sounding like a massacre. But Kami doesn't look back and keeps running, he runs until he finally sees the sun light in a far distance.
It looks like the end of the forest and the moment he sees it he smiles. ''Finally.''
Where he gets to the end of the forest, finally stepping into the sunlight again. He embraces it with a smile on his face. When he looks ahead, he sees buildings far ahead and narrows his eyes to look properly.
''A kingdom! Nice!''
He starts running towards the king.
