SEVEN YEARS AFTER KYUBI INCIDENT
It's been tiring and depressing seven years since the incident where suddenly a beast of gigantic proportion bearing reddish orange color in the shape a fox with human hands, bunny ears and nine tails suddenly appeared in the middle of the village known as konoha (otherwise known as village hidden in the leaves due to its being surrounded by the vast forest from all sides) it caused untold amount of destruction and the death of beloved fourth hokage, which took the world's most powerful shinobi village seven years to recover from. And when the village has just recovered from it another tragedy occurred in which the prodigy of the renowned and powerful Uchiha clan killed every one of his own clan members except his brother for some reason and became a nuke-ninja (rouge shinobi).
But we don't have anything to do with them our story revolves around a particular person who has just turned seven years old and submitted his application to be accepted in order to become a shinobi of Konoha.
This is a kid name is Raijin and he is an orphan due to kyubi incident; he is living alone in his parents' house his parents are moderately successful merchants. They were not super rich but they could have lived comfortably if they were alive. After his parents death as he was a newborn at that time he was sent to live in an orphanage till now.
After living in the orphanage for seven years and hearing stories about shinobi he became fascinated with their powers and wanted to become a powerful shinobi himself, so he told the matron of the orphanage and in return the matron told him all about his parents, their home etc.
As it is required that if an orphan wants to join shinobi academy he/she needs to move out of the orphanage and rent an apartment in the village with the funds provided as loans from the village which he/she would have to return after becoming shinobi.
As he has already learnt about his parents he decides to live his parents home and use their home and funds. So he said goodbye to the matron and thanks her for informing him about all and went to live in his own home.
Now its morning time and Raijin is sleeping in his bedroom and suddenly his alarm clock starts ringing which disturbs his sleep and wakes him up.
Raijin sat up on his bed and "YAAAAA" yawns loudly and sleepily look at the time on the clock which was showing 7:00 am, so he went to bathroom to finish his daily due and came outside and has a breakfast. After eating he went to the mail box and saw a scroll and some packets in it.
He became excited and hastily grabbed them and runs inside to see its content. As soon as he reaches the sitting room he opens the scroll and eagerly starts to read it contents. The scroll informs him that his application has been accepted and all the initial necessary Scrolls and items are provided to him in the packets which he received with the scroll.
Reading this Raijin couldn't contains himself and yell happily "YAHOO, now I can become a shinobi and become powerful" and does a weird dancing jig all around the room.
After calming down from the high horse he blushed in embarrassment at his own excited behavior as he is normally calm or shy person, and looks around the room to see if any one saw him doing that and realizes that he is alone in there.
So he takes several deep breaths to calm himself down and went to opens the packets. Inside them he found scrolls about the entire subjects like history, geography, math, science and writing utensils like pen pencil and also calligraphy brush and a pot of ink, he also gotten 5 wooden shruiken and 5 wooden kunai and a wooden circle along with the instruction for practicing throwing Kunai & Shuriken. He was confused as why he did not got any shinobi related books but shrugged
As his home does not have any open space for target practicing he decided to use the sitting room for it and began to re organize the sitting room by slightly shifting the sofa and the study table to one end of the room. After that he placed the target board on the far wall and became excited to try it, so without any more though he began throwing the wooden kunais and shurikens.
After the first hour when he didn't have any success he came down from the high horse and gave up, he was frustrated with his failure and decides to first read the instruction manual regarding shuriken jutsu. From them he learnt about the proper way to hold shurikens and kunais, proper stance, proper hand movement, proper wrist movements, how to aim and when to release while throwing them etc. The manual contains various drawn illustrations for them.
He spent all the day to practice all of the above with single minded focus and determination due to his previous failure. He only stops when his stomachs began making growling sound due to hunger and he saw the time his eyes widens because of the clocks showing 8:00 pm. So he hastily went to prepare his dinner.
After eating he again went to try practicing shuriken jutsu. He took a deep breath and make sure to follow the instructions from the book to the letter and let lose. Now from the ten consecutive throws he can succeed in hitting the target board one time in both shuriken and kunai.
He became elated in his success and learns a valuable lesson from it, which is that to be a successful and a powerful shinobi he would have to learn all the books about all the required topics and always practice them hard. After having this realization he vows to himself that he would always remembers them and work on them.
With that thought he went to sleep.
NEXT MORNING
Next day Raijin went towards the academy after finishing his morning routine at 8:30 am as the academy was starting at 9:00 am. He reached at the front door just on time. His heart beating fast due to nervousness, so he took a few deep breaths and tries to calm down and enter.
After entering he went to the reception and submitted his approval letter and was directed to his classroom.
SIX MONTHS LATER
It's been six month since the start of the academy, till now they have only been taught theoretical knowledge and even none of them were about anything shinobi related and he was sick of it. He understood that it is necessary for the students to learn them but he does not think that they will help him in becoming powerful shinobi. So one day he asked about it to his sensei privately and learnt that any shinobi related techniques will start in last two years of his academy tenure due to peace time.
He was dejected for a time upon learning this but one day when he was exploring the academy he found the library in which he hoped to found something to learn about being a shinobi. So he enters it and began to look around. He found out that the majority books were also about the subject that he was learning now and their advanced version.
Fortunately he also found the books containing things related to being a shinobi, so he began reading them. First book he found is titled "BASICS OF BEING A SHINOBI". He learnt about chakra which is the required to become a shinobi, chakra is a energy which consists of physical energy, which are produced in every cell present in the body and mental energy, which are produced by the mind based on knowledge, wisdom & life experience.
He learnt that a shinobi must moulds the chakra from this energy of the body and mind to produce chakra which made the body sturdier which in turn enable a person to do all types of supernatural feats like jump high etc and in all types of things likes Taijutsu, which is hand to hand combat. Genjutsu, which is using chakra affect the senses of another person. Ninjutsu which is using chakra to produce various super natural effects on the world. There are others field of study but the book doesn't provide any information on them.
After reading the whole book he understand that to become powerful he would have to posses huge amount of chakra along with the perfect control over his chakra and to possess it he would basically have to do improve his physical energy which would passively increase along his age, also to do regular immense amount of exercises, and his mental energy which also passively increase along his age but also he would have to grit his teeth and learn all the things he was being taught presently in the academy which will also increase his mental energy due to increase in knowledge.
He also found out that once he activates his chakra his base physic and mind will also receive a boost and the amount of boost will depend upon the level of his physical & mental energies; he will have at the time of his chakra activation. For example if his physical and mental energies are about 1 points each then once his chakra activates it will increase his base stats by 1 points each, so that means his both body and mind will become 2 points each but if he have 10 points in both physical and mental energies then he will get 10 times the boost that means after activating his chakra his physical and mental energies will increase directly to 100 each.
So, he decides to improves his base stats as much he can in next two years which is normally when the students are allowed to activate their chakra.
From the book he also found out about the term chakra capacity and chakra reserve. Chakra reserve is the maximum amount of chakra one can mold once a day and chakra capacity is the amount of chakra one can hold inside his chakra circulatory system, which is similar to blood circulatory system. One's chakra capacity is always less than or equal to his chakra reserve.
At first every shinobi has very thin chakra coils regardless of his chakra reserves like half the size of a strand of hair. So, a shinobi can't learn or perform high chakra requirement jutsu if his/her chakra capacity is small despite possessing huge amount of chakra reserves.
He also learnt how a person's talent is determined that is how one can know if his talent lies in genjutsu, Taijutsu or Ninjutsu or if a person has good chakra control or not. Basically if a shinobi has twice the amount of mental energy than his physical energy then he is genjutsu type, similarly if a shinobi has twice the amount of physical energy than his mental energy then he is taijutsu type and any other amount of physical energy or mental energy they are considered to be Ninjutsu type. This does not means that they can't learn anything outside of their type but it will take double the amount of effort for them.
As for chakra control it is determined by the ratio of a shinobi's chakra capacity and reserves. At the start everyone have almost low chakra control due to possessing thin chakra coils. As they continues to use their chakra regularly be it by practicing chakra control exercise or jutsus they can expand their chakra coils and their control increases and once the ration between the reserves and capacity becomes 1:1 then his or her chakra control becomes perfect.
In conclusion he would have to do regular exercise to increase his physical energy and learn all the knowledge available from the academy even the thing he finds distasteful and both of them will increase his chakra reserves and once his chakra is activated he can increase his chakra capacity directly by emptying his chakra every day and recovering from it to keep good control over his chakra.
So with that in mind he found various books containing physical, taijutsu techniques, kenjutsu and bojutsu. He only took books related to physical exercise as he already has books about various subjects he was learning from the academy. He also skips anything related to chakra as he previously decided.
