With the immediate crises handled, Kagami finally had a moment to himself. He called upon the system, wanting a clear assessment of the power now flowing through him.
[Host]: Uchiha Kagami
[Strength Level]: Minor Nation Tier
[Physique]: Pure Yang Holy Body
[Tenfold Amplified Template]: The King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna
[Abilities]: Mugen (Infinity), Shukuchi (Reduced Earth), Susanoo, Cleave, Dismantle, Fūga (Fire Arrow), Reversal Technique, Mizushi (Divine Water Shrine), Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine
[Items]: None
[Wife]: Uchiha Rinne (E-Rank)
[Offspring]: Uchiha Sukuna
So many things had happened so quickly that he hadn't had time to properly examine his new status. Now, looking at the interface, one entry stood out.
"System, how do you categorize strength levels?" Kagami asked, focusing on the 'Minor Nation Tier' assessment.
"Ding! Power levels are ranked from low to high: Village Tier, City Tier, Minor Nation Tier, Major Nation Tier, Continental Tier, Planetary Tier, Stellar Tier, Galactic Tier, Universal Tier, and finally, Conceptual Tier!"
"At the host's current full strength, you are capable of destroying a minor nation in a short period. Thus, your strength is assessed at the Minor Nation Tier."
Hearing the system's explanation, Kagami gained a clearer understanding of the power scale he was now operating on. With his domain fully expanded, he could indeed erase a small country from the map. A major nation, however, was another matter entirely. Even with the terrifying power of his Spatial Cleave, destroying a large country, dozens of times the size of a smaller one, would take months of sustained effort.
However, while his destructive capacity was rated at the Minor Nation Tier, his lethality was another story. With his Spatial Cleave, he could likely assassinate targets at the Major Nation or even Continental Tier. Unless he encountered an enemy completely immune to spatial attacks, he could kill foes several tiers above his own rank.
He continued reading down the list until his eyes landed on his wife's status, and a flicker of confusion crossed his mind. He remembered Rinne's rating being F-Rank. How had it become E-Rank?
"System, why did my wife's rating improve?"
"Ding! Due to being nourished by the host's Pure Yang Holy Body, her aptitude has been enhanced. Furthermore, by awakening her Mangekyo Sharingan, her own strength has greatly increased. Therefore, her rating has been raised to E-Rank."
"Hiss..." Kagami took a sharp breath. "The Pure Yang Holy Body has that effect?" He hadn't yet fully understood its properties, knowing only that it granted him incredible stamina and a magnetic attraction to women. He never expected it could actually improve another person's innate potential.
In the past, his own weakness had forced him to consciously suppress the aura of the Pure Yang Holy Body. If he hadn't, he feared every woman in Konoha would have thrown themselves at him. While the thought was appealing, with his previous strength—barely above that of an ordinary person—he would have been torn apart by jealous husbands and fathers long ago. But now, things were different. With his immense power, he no longer needed to hide.
"Can the Pure Yang Holy Body also improve my own aptitude?" Kagami asked, a new hope rising within him. Although he wielded the power of Sukuna, the fact that he couldn't properly practice chakra had always been a point of frustration. If possible, he still wanted to master the shinobi arts.
"Ding! The Pure Yang Holy Body allows the host to cultivate the powers of all systems without conflict. It can also improve the aptitude of both the host and his wife through dual cultivation. (Note: The higher the woman's rating, the more significant the host's improvement will be.)"
Hearing this, Kagami's eyes lit up. "Excellent."
They had only been together for a short time before Rinne became pregnant. If her aptitude had improved in that brief period, his own must have as well. He couldn't wait to try. His ambitions weren't grand; if he could just learn the Shadow Clone Jutsu, his combat potential would increase exponentially. The thought of creating a group of clones that could all simultaneously deploy his Domain Expansion… the image was incredible. His power rating would likely leap straight to the Major Nation Tier.
Kagami immediately sat cross-legged and began the process of refining chakra.
Two hours later, he had successfully refined several strands. He was ecstatic. His talent had undeniably improved. In the past, it would have taken him a month to refine a single strand. Now, he could produce several in just a couple of hours. The speed was still slow—it would take years to reach the level of a Genin—but it was a start. As long as he and Rinne... continued their 'dual cultivation,' his aptitude would only continue to grow.
Later that day, after they had coaxed little Sukuna to sleep, Kagami eagerly pulled his wife aside to begin "improving his aptitude."
Time blurred into a haze of intimacy and shared power, and before they knew it, evening had fallen.
Kagami's stomach rumbled, and he realized he was starving. He wanted to take Rinne out to eat, but she was completely exhausted, too tired to even move. Left with no other choice, Kagami decided to go buy food himself and bring it back for her.
After going downstairs, he saw Sasuke sitting restlessly on the sofa. Seeing Kagami approach, the boy's face flushed slightly, and he looked as if he wanted to say something but couldn't find the words. Kagami was about to leave when Sasuke's stomach let out an embarrassingly loud growl.
He then remembered that Sasuke hadn't eaten all day. With his family gone, the boy had no money for food. He was only a seven-year-old child, after all. Kagami figured that showing him a little kindness now and then would make it easier to cultivate his loyalty.
"Let's go," he said simply. "I'll take you to get something to eat."
Sasuke's face flushed an even deeper red, but he nodded.
Kagami led Sasuke out of their temporary residence and began walking toward the village center, his destination set: Ichiraku Ramen. When he had first read the original story, he had always been curious about the ramen that Naruto enjoyed so much. After arriving in this world, his fear of being captured by Danzo had kept him confined to the Uchiha district. Now that he finally had the chance, he wanted to see if it was really as good as the legends said.
