Chapter 1 : The Dream Begins
It started like any normal night.
The wind was calm, the house quiet
I turnet off my phone and lay in bed, eyes
drifting shut.
But as soon as I closed them, I felt a pull.
A cold breeze touched my neck, though
the windows were closed.
Suddenly, I was no longer in my bed.
I stood barefoot in a forest soaked in red
moonlight.
The trees around me were twisted, like
They were in pain.
I could hear breathing, heavy and slow,
Coming from behind me.
I turned quickly, but nothing was there.
Still, the breathing didn't stop.
It moved wirh me, following my steps.
I walked faster.
The sound followed.
I ran.
It chased.
Up ahead, a wooden cabin appeared out
of the mist.
I didn't think. I just ran inside.
The door slammed shut behind me on its own.
Inside, it was colder than outside.
Cobwebs hung from the ceiling like
curtains.
The walls were scratched with symbols l
couldn't read.
In the center stood a tall mirror, covered in a thin
Black sheet.
I stepped closer, heart racing.
Something inside me whispered not to
Touch it.
But l couldn't resist.
I reached out and pulled the sheet down.
The mirror showed... not my reflection, but
a room exactly like mine.
On the bed, I saw myself.... sleeping.
But something was standing over me.
A tall, shadowy figure with hollow eyes.
It slowly turned and looked at me through
The mirror.
It smiled.
The smile was wrong--stratched too wide, too sharp.
I screamed.
My reflecion in the mirror didn't.
The shshadow raised its hand and pointed at me.
Suddenly, cracks ran through the glass.
A hand reachet out.
I ran toward the cabim door, pulling with
all my strength.
It wouldn't open
I turned around.
The shadow was halfway out of the mirror
Now.
Its eyes locket on mine.
I fell backward, hit my head, and
Evereything looked normal.
Until l saw it.
A black handprint on the mirror beside my bed.
And carved into the glass were four words:
The dream has begun.
