"This Black Organization is way too useless, isn't it?!"
That was the strongest impression The Lady had after finishing Detective Conan.
The manga hyped them up as this mysterious, unfathomable syndicate,
with agents spread across the globe.
But when it came down to it, there were only a handful of them fighting all the time.
And most of them were undercover agents from other countries!
Turns out Gin was the only loyal one in the entire organization.
The rest were either fools or traitors.
When she saw that, The Lady was completely dumbfounded.
How could a transnational organization get infiltrated to that degree?!
She just couldn't wrap her head around it.
At one point, she even thought—
if all those nations called their people back, wouldn't the organization instantly collapse?
How ridiculous was that?!
And then there was that protagonist, Conan.
Sure, he had some talent as a detective,
but his actions weren't "adventurous" so much as suicidal!
If she had been Gin, that kid wouldn't have survived past chapter two.
"…Could the Fatui Harbingers be like this too?"
A sudden worry struck her.
The Fatui, in many ways, were similar to the Black Organization in the manga.
To the public eye, both were villainous forces lurking in the shadows.
If the Black Organization was almost entirely made up of undercover agents,
could the Fatui be the same?
Just the thought made The Lady restless.
No, absolutely not!
Once she returned, she'd have to do a thorough sweep.
No suspicious individual must be allowed to disrupt Her Majesty the Tsaritsa's grand plan!
For example, Anastasia.
That woman had already made mistakes multiple times.
The Lady decided it was worth investigating her properly.
Just then—
System notification:
[Customer The Lady finished reading Detective Conan and received a reward — Harley V-Rod (Belmod Custom Edition).]
[Harley V-Rod (Belmod Custom Edition): With immense horsepower and lightning-fast speed, it delivers an exhilarating ride.]
"A motorcycle?! And Belmod's personal ride at that!"
Han Feng clicked his tongue in surprise.
Back when he read the manga, there were two vehicles that caught his eye:
Gin's old vintage car…
and Belmod's sleek motorcycle.
Tall, glamorous woman plus motorcycle — the perfect aesthetic.
Well,
though The Lady could be a little chuuni with her theatrics,
if she just kept quiet, she really did match the vibe.
"Esteemed store manager, who holds the secrets of all worlds, may I ask what gift you bestow upon me?"
The Lady stepped forward respectfully.
"It suits you. But the reward is a bit too big for indoors. Go outside and wait."
Han Feng waved her off.
The Lady nodded, curious, and walked out.
"Let's go too! I wanna see!"
Paimon squealed with excitement.
Judging by the boss's expression, this was something amazing.
They definitely couldn't miss it.
The group followed her into the alley.
Buzz—
A brilliant light descended, enveloping The Lady.
When it faded,
a striking silver-red motorcycle stood gleaming at her side.
"This… this is Belmod's bike!"
The Lady recognized it instantly.
Belmod was one of the few female antagonists in the manga.
Her allure was utterly unique.
Especially that line: "A secret makes a woman woman."
The Lady didn't understand what it meant,
but somehow, it sounded… charming.
"That's right. And it's got monstrous horsepower — top speed 230 kilometers per hour."
Han Feng nodded.
This was the system's first modernized item reward.
Though it was "just" a motorcycle,
its impact on Teyvat would be tremendous.
In Mondstadt, knights still patrolled on horseback.
In Liyue, the only "vehicles" were horse-drawn carriages.
A motorcycle like this?
It was practically a weapon from another world.
Sure enough, everyone's eyes went wide at his explanation.
"Wow, this 'motorcycle' is so cool!"
"I know, right? Makes me want one too."
"And that speed… I'd never have to trudge through long roads again!"
Who said women didn't love machines?
They just hadn't seen the right ones yet.
This motorcycle, at least, had them completely enchanted.
Lumine was calm — she had roller skates and control over the wind, so she wasn't too envious.
Paimon, being Paimon, wasn't either.
But Mona… Mona was practically drooling.
Only the gods knew how much effort it had taken her to travel from Liyue to Mondstadt.
Yes, she had a Vision,
but constantly using elemental power was exhausting.
"If only I had one of these bikes…"
Mona sighed wistfully.
Her doubts vanished completely.
Paimon had been telling the truth.
Reading manga did give rewards.
And not just ordinary things, but unseen marvels.
At least this motorcycle — she'd never even imagined such a thing.
"Could Boss Han also be from another world…?"
Mona wondered secretly.
Meanwhile, The Lady was thrilled — but also faced a problem.
The motorcycle fit her perfectly.
It matched her persona as the Crimson Witch of Embers.
But…
She didn't know how to ride it.
So she turned pleading eyes toward Han Feng.
"Boss, could you… teach me how to drive?"
The Lady asked earnestly.
After all, it was his gift. Surely he knew how to use it.
Pffft!
Han Feng nearly choked on his tea.
What kind of wording was that?!
To anyone listening, it sounded downright scandalous.
He set his cup down and walked over.
"Alright, first — sit astride it, just like in the manga.
Hold the handlebars — that's how you steer.
Then, step on the—"
He gave a basic explanation.
But The Lady's face was blank.
Clutch? Throttle? What were those?
Lumine and the others were just as lost.
"Forget it, I'll demonstrate."
Han Feng sighed.
It had been a while since he'd ridden one.
Might as well stretch his skills.
"Alright!"
The Lady nodded quickly.
Han Feng swung onto the bike, a confident grin tugging his lips.
Hands on the bars, foot pressing down—
Vroom—!
The motorcycle roared to life,
shooting forward under his control.
"It's moving, it's moving! He's driving it!"
Paimon bounced in excitement, as if she were the one riding.
After circling around, Han Feng returned.
Man, motorcycles really were a man's romance.
The rush felt incredible.
Too bad Mondstadt's narrow streets couldn't unleash its full power.
Out in the wild, though… it'd soar.
"Got it now?"
He looked at The Lady after parking.
"Store manager, master of all mysteries… might you allow the Crimson Witch of Embers to ride with you? That way, I could grasp the essence of this wondrous contraption."
"…You want to get on?"
Han Feng gave her a speechless look.
The Lady nodded repeatedly.
"…Fine. Hop on."
Han Feng sighed.
Being a store manager really was exhausting.
But teaching customers how to use their rewards was part of the job.
Delighted, The Lady climbed on behind him.
"Sorry to trouble you, Boss!"
"…"
Soon, the motorcycle's engine roared again, echoing through the alley.
But this time…
Han Feng felt something different.
"Damn it, I'm so jealous! I want the boss to drive me too! Lumine, you feel the same, right?"
Paimon pouted.
"Cough— No, I don't. Not at all. Don't talk nonsense."
Lumine instantly denied it three times in a row.
Who was she kidding?
She didn't need Han Feng to drive her anywhere!
If anything, she should be the one giving him a ride!
"But… when that woman got on just now, your eyes didn't move from her for a second…"
Mona whispered.
Lumine: (⊙⊙)
Paimon: (⊙⊙)
The alley fell into an awkward silence.
