ethan and the rest of the Elysium slayers used herobot and split up, ethan and john searched the ocean using different sensors like emps(electromagnetic pulses) and emw(electromagnetic waves), and minami and lily searched the land and teleported around using herobot's inter dimensional portal, ethan and john ran and flew around the oceans while minami and lily went through several portals, after sometime of searching ethan and john found a strange increase in both the emps and the emws, and when ethan swam down to investigate he found strange ruins, and he swam around it before quickly swimming to the surface.
john-"found something?"
ethan-"yeah -cough cough- i found some ruins"
john- "ruins? that is not what we want but lets investigate, herobot? we need diving equipment"
herobot-"ok, there you guys go"
some diving equipment suddenly appeared on them, and then they both dived down and saw different ruins and symbols, and after some diving they found some suspiciously dense metal vault, and ethan wanted to punch a hole in it but he couldn't from how the water resistance was high, so john made a small flame that seemed to bubble up the water around it, and then he used the flame to cut through the metal vault, and as soon as it opened, both ethan and john got sucked in along with some water before herobot sealed the vault. ethan and john took off the diving equipment to talk.
ethan-"you think that is it?"
john-"large vault, big cannon looking weapon, large emp and emw readings. i think so, come on lets get closer to it"
ethan and john walked closer and looked around the weapon, ethan picked it up eagerly.
ethan-"it's surprisingly light for a cannon"
john-"there's a gun called a hand cannon, so its not the first light cannon"
ethan-"fair enough, now let me test it"
ethan found some strange symbols, and a knob. he turned the know to the two turned lines and pulled the trigger, that launched a big laser that looked like it could blind someone from just looking at it.
john-"ETHAN! LOOK OU-…"
john ran to ethan to protect them, but when the laser touched the wall, everything froze in place, including ethan, but then ethan started moving.
ethan-"it works huh, looks like time slowed down, well i can move at time speed so it aint a problem, not for me at least, now how do i reverse it"
ethan played with the knob and then he put it to the triangle that was facing the side, and pulled the trigger again, this time everything returned to normal and john fell to the ground.
john-"ETHA-...…. wait….. nothing happened?"
ethan-"no, you were being over dramatic, it only freezes and unfreezes time….. for now, until i understand its mechanics"
john-"no time, we gotta report this to minami and lily"
and so ethan and john punched through the vault and swam out, ethan ran with the cannon while john flew next to him, and then a noise came in on the intercom.
minami-"ethan, come in —static, ethan, have y-inaudible- i repeat, -in audible-"
ethan-"minami. i cant hear you, there is a lot of interference, but we got the cannon and we heading home"
minami-"ethan. i have no idea what -static- do -static- trap, so run before -inaudible-"
ethan and john were confused so they just went faster and went to The Slayer's Sanctum, and when they arrived, they saw minami and lily.
ethan-"we found it, ill put it here on the table, its light but its tiring to carry something as big as this around."
john-"anyways, what was that about traps and such?….. hello?"
minami and lily were standing still, ethan wanted to put his hand on minami's shoulder, but it only went through her shoulder, like a hologram.
ethan-"a hologram? what? they must have been captured, ok fine, now that we have the ChronoWave Cannon, we can kill them like they were cockroaches"
john-"i guess, lets see, their ship is on the pacific sea so we can just fly there"
ethan and john flew to the mother ship and infiltrated it again, this time when they got to the cockpit they shot the cannon with the time stopping laser and killed everyone, and when they tried to kill the captain, his armor was too thick.
ethan-"dont tell me its one of those boss fights where you have to wait for them to lower their shield to attack"
john-"appears so, unfreeze time ethan"
ethan was reluctant but he did shoot the unfreezing laser and every member fell to the ground and died, and the captain looked around and saw them.
the captain-"well well well, id say thank you if you weren't here to kill me, so ill kill you instead"
ethan-"nuh uh!"
the captain-"nuh uh? what do you mean nuh uh?"
john-"nuh uh!"
ethan and john laughed, but not the leader.
the captain-"such idiots, well its good you're enjoying your last moments alive"
the captain launched an attack, ethan dodged but john didn't have time to react so ethan froze the captain before they could hit john
ethan-"your welcome"
john moved out the way, and ethan unfroze the captain, the captain tripped and for a split second ethan saw their defense go down, and he was able to formulate a plan
ethan-in head 'hey! what if i keep tripping him, and when his defense goes down I'll just freeze him and hit him as much as possible'
ethan stood still appearing like he was defenseless, and when the captain tackled him, ethan teleported behind the captain which caused them to trip and hit a wall, ethan saw an opportunity and he took advantage of that by freezing the captain.
john-"smart! holy hell! now! lets burn his butt!!"
ethan hit him with different attacks while john was launching fire at him, after some time, he looked like coal and looked like a fridge that was being hit everyday, and so, Ethan and john ran around the ship and found a lot of heroes trapped in cages, some of them were lily and minami, so ethan overloaded the controls which freed everyone, and john created an exit, while herobot created a large elevator that went down to land and when everyone evacuated ethan stayed and unfroze the captain.
