Chapter 31 - Chapter 21 – Bunny, Bases, and the Billionaire Shopping Spree

With all Shadow Leaders from 1 to 8 having finalized their missions, they left HQ one by one to meet with their assigned teams—each composed of 20 or more elite members. At their respective division headquarters, the Shadow Leaders conducted confidential briefings: outlining goals, deadlines, supply lists, and the extreme secrecy required for their global hoarding missions. Each team was handed an encrypted mission folder and an unlimited black card, issued under Long Yi's authority.

Once the hustle of team deployment settled, the headquarters quieted significantly. Inside the meeting room, only Colonel Long, Long Yi, Han Yue, the three secretaries, and the ever-loyal Old Butler Lin remained. The silence was deafening—at least for Han Yue.

Feeling the stillness a bit boring, Han Yue smirked, stretched her hand out... and with a small poof of spiritual energy, summoned her baby bunny onto the meeting table.

The bunny popped into existence, immediately bouncing around with adorable energy, rubbing up against Han Yue's hand affectionately. Everyone at the table stared wide-eyed—except Long Yi, who merely smiled. The presence of this fluffy ball confirmed one thing loud and clear: Han Yue wasn't joking about raising livestock in her space.

The group quickly adjusted their mental priorities. Livestock management, breeding, and survival sustainability instantly shot up the list of critical resources. Secretary Wen and the others took rapid notes, highlighting the importance of reproduction rates, animal feed storage, and diversified animal breeds.

Then, the conversation turned serious.

Colonel Long cleared his throat. Now that the Shadow Guard Leaders were dispatched, it was time to speak about Grandpa Long. "Do we break the news to him now?" he asked, concerned. The old man still held scattered but valuable shares, lands, antiques, and—most importantly—jade.

Han Yue, munching on a pastry, raised her brow at the mention of jade. Long Yi nodded but remained thoughtful.

Colonel Long added, "That might be why my bastard brother—Long Jin—and his son tried to cling to him so tightly. Maybe they've already taken part of it without us knowing."

Long Yi finally responded, eyes cold. "This Dragon Ring was stolen by Long Jin's son in Han Yue's past life. That means they gained access to Grandpa's vaults."

Colonel Long's expression darkened. He clenched his jaw, pain visible. "If Father compromised... I can't imagine what they did to him."

Han Yue leaned forward. "Back at the base in my last life, that bastard Long Zichen bragged about stealing Long Yi's ring and unlocking the vault. He loves to show off, I overheard it by accident."

They all sat in silence for a moment before Long Yi and Colonel Long agreed—it was time to speak to Grandpa Long and liquidate his holdings while they still could.

✦ Han Yue's Shopping Spree Begins

Shortly after, Han Yue and Secretary Wen left the compound to meet her two assistants. They brought good news:

Eight commercial warehouses had been rented in a remote, unpopulated area.

Personnel had been assigned to guard each location 24/7.

The first batch of goods—including wholesale groceries, processed food, instant noodles, factory snacks, and frozen meat—had already been delivered and were waiting to be stored inside Han Yue's space.

As for the takeout plan, it was in full swing.

Twenty specially hired staff were already contacting:

Hotel buffets

Wedding caterers

Night markets

Junk food shops

Fast-food chains

Local restaurants and snack stalls

Each vendor was instructed to prepare 5,000 portions of every item on their menu for seven days straight, delivered in batches to one of the warehouses.

Han Yue squealed with excitement. She could barely wait. This was her moment—her hoarding novel dream come true.

However, Secretary Wen reminded her: "Since it's takeout, it must be stored quickly. You'll be under a tight collection schedule."

Han Yue didn't care. She gleefully agreed.

Before they left for the malls, Secretary Wen gave final orders to his fellow secretaries:

Keep Han Yue's space ability confidential at all costs.

Never leave her side during logistics operations.

✦ Base Planning: Two Fortresses of Power

Meanwhile, Secretary Wen also had critical tasks to attend to:

Return to Shadow HQ to manage the remaining guards.

Assign missions to minor teams in small countries neighboring the Dragon Kingdom.

Oversee base construction logistics for both Long Yi and Colonel Long.

At the earlier meeting, Han Yue had casually mentioned a certain mountain that never flooded, cracked, or collapsed during any disaster in her past life. Though teeming with mutant beasts and plants, it was structurally solid and ideal for long-term survival.

After discussion, everyone agreed—the base would be built on that mountain.

Colonel Long emphasized the need for two separate bases:

A private base for Long Yi.

A military base for Colonel Long and his troops.

Mixing civilians and soldiers was a disaster waiting to happen, and two leaders with overlapping authority would only cause division and confusion among survivors.

Secretary Wen was instructed to:

Buy the entire mountain.

Secure and renovate an abandoned military training ground for Colonel Long.

Scout and construct Long Yi's private base, roughly 30 minutes away by vehicle from the military zone.

Back in the passenger seat, Han Yue didn't care. Her eyes sparkled. She could already imagine herself jumping into the world of mall sales, outlet shops, and factory clearances.

Let the world burn later.

Right now, it was hoarding time.

The ride to the warehouse was quiet—too quiet, until Han Yue suddenly squealed in excitement as the gates opened to reveal their hidden treasure trove. Assistant Chen Yan was driving, while Liu Qing sat beside Han Yue with a tablet in hand, ready to note down every detail of their stock operation.

The moment they entered the first warehouse, Han Yue's jaw dropped.

Towering boxes stretched from floor to ceiling, stacked like an apocalyptic fortress. All clearly labeled and categorized:

Instant Ramen of dozens of brands and flavors,

Bottled Water in various sizes,

Junk food: sausages, hams, spicy strips, chocolates, chips, pickled vegetables, beef jerky, mixed nuts, energy bars...

Drinks: soda cans, fruit juices, energy drinks, sweet milk, even boxed lattes.

"WAH—! It's so beautiful!" Han Yue clasped her cheeks and practically bounced on the balls of her feet.

With one wave of her hand, everything disappeared into her space. The entire warehouse, cleared in less than five seconds.

Both Chen Yan and Liu Qing froze, then quickly began taking mental notes—and actual ones too.

"Efficiency: 100%. Collection time: 5 seconds. Conclusion: **No need to pace deliveries. Increase supply and flow at will. Begin 24-hour schedule. Use cover logistics. Execute nationwide.)"

They immediately messaged the procurement team to accelerate and widen sourcing—targeting local specialties, popular brands, and emergency stock items from different regions under layered disguises to avoid attention. Han Yue had just opened the floodgates, and now the supply would never stop.

Ten minutes and three warehouses later, Han Yue finished with a bright, satisfied smile and declared:

"Next stop! WHOLESALE MARKET!"

🛍️ The Wholesale Market – Operation: Grain Grab

While in the car, Han Yue suddenly gasped.

"Wait—am I famous now?! Shouldn't I be in disguise??!"

The assistants paused before quickly rummaging through the emergency disguise kit. Liu Qing was about to hand her a full-face visor mask, but Han Yue beat her to it.

"Wait—I have something better!" she said proudly, and pulled out a realistic human skin mask from her bag.

"I bought this from the black market! Cool, right?"

The two assistants stared for a second, then nodded in sincere admiration.

"Resourceful. Ruthless. Miss Han Yue is the ultimate heroine."

All three wore masks and added normal face masks for good measure—ready to walk among the crowd like undercover agents.

Arriving at the Big River Grain Supply Co., the trio headed to the main sales desk. Han Yue already had her eye on this place—she had scoped it out days ago.

"I want to see your item sales listing," she asked politely.

The staffer, seeing this petite girl who looked no older than a high schooler, didn't think much. He handed over the list, expecting her to pick maybe 1–2 items for fun.

Han Yue scanned the paper and confidently wrote at the top:

"1000 bags each."

The employee's pupils dilated. He blinked at the number again, as if it would shrink on the second reading.

"Miss, um… you sure about this? This is for real? I'll have to call the boss…"

Han Yue tilted her head arrogantly like a spoiled rich second-generation, then said,

"YES. My family wants me to personally experience procurement for our supermarket warehouse."

That did the trick. The staffer gasped, then scrambled away.

Soon, the rotund Shop Owner, Mr. Wei, came jogging out with a smile stretched across his face.

"Young Master, this way please! We've prepared refreshments. Please rest in our lounge while we prepare the total for your order!"

Han Yue sat like a proper rich lady, nibbling melon seeds and sipping hot tea, enjoying the moment.

"Hehehe… just like in the hoarding novels. Step one: grain shop. Step two: buy everything. Step three: act like a boss. I love this~"

Not long after, Mr. Wei returned with a thick printed receipt and respectfully handed it to her.

"Please forgive the wait. Here is the total breakdown. For large orders, we only require 30% down payment, and we'll prepare shipment over the next three days. Thank you, Young Master!"

Without hesitation, Liu Qing handed over Han Yue's special black bank card—the one tied to her 1.2 billion yuan from stock liquidation.
