Synopsis
All I wanted was peace. A quiet college dorm, ramen at midnight, and zero emotional chaos. But that dream shattered the moment I opened the door and found Rikuya—a strange, silver-eyed boy in royal robes, staring like he’d seen me before. He claims he’s a prince from a forgotten realm. He says he’s cursed. And somehow… fate made him my roommate. Now I’m sharing my space with a magical runaway who disappears after midnight, doesn’t know how showers work, and calls me “a creature of warmth.” But the scariest part isn’t the magic. It’s the way he looks at me—like I might be the key to breaking his curse… or the one who cursed him to begin with.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Guy in My Dorm Room

Yuna's POV

I was tired.

Like finals week with no sleep and no coffee tired.

All I wanted was to open the door to my dorm, crawl into bed, and forget the world existed.

But when I opened the door…

There was a guy sitting on my bed.

Not just a guy. A strange guy.

He wore a long, dark cloak, like something out of a medieval movie. His hair was black and slightly messy, and his eyes—silver, no joke—were staring at me like I was the intruder.

"Uh…" I blinked. "Who are you?" Why are you in my room? And why are you dressed like a rejected video game character?"

He stood slowly, like he didn't understand half the words I just said.

Then he said, completely serious:

"You must be my new keeper."

I stared at him. He stared back.

And then I did what any sane girl would do when a cloaked stranger appeared in her dorm room.

I closed the door.

Stood in the hallway.

And screamed internally.

Rikuya's POV

The human girl screamed with her eyes, but not her mouth. Impressive.

I expected fear. Or fainting.

Instead, she just looked confused. Maybe annoyed. Her hair was tied in a lazy bun, and she was wearing a hoodie with some kind of smiling toast on it.

So this is what fate gave me.

I sat back down on the soft square thing (a "bed", I believe), and waited. A few seconds later, the door creaked open again.

She peeked in, one hand gripping a cup of noodles like it was a weapon.

"Okay," she said slowly. "Let's try this again. Who. Are. You?"

"I am Rikuya of the Shadowblood Line. Prince of the Forgotten Realm. Bound to this plane by an ancient curse. Your world is unfamiliar to me. I request shelter."

She blinked.

I blinked.

Then she said:

"…So you're basically homeless and need a place to crash."

"…Yes."

She sighed. "Great. My roommate's a LARPing prince with glowing eyes and zero sense of personal space."

I wasn't sure what "LARPing" meant, but I was beginning to think this girl might be more dangerous than the curse itself.

Especially when she tossed me a hoodie and said,

"Fine. You can stay. But if you touch my noodles, we're fighting."
