The Viewing Chamber

Slowly everyone separated and stood on with their respective families, their goodbyes said and done. They waited for their return, to go back home and digest what they learned there. But nothing happened. For the longest time, they just stood there waiting, sometimes sitting and making idle chat.

It happened after a long time.

The doors opened and Ned returned with Catelyn.

"What is going on? I remember telling you all to continue without us" Ned Stark asked with a frown.

"Well there isn't much to watch so we thought that we have to go back" Robert explained

Ned Stark looked at the screen and thought what Robert said made sense so he went towards his Father, brother and sister along with his children.

"Where is Jon?" Ned asked right ta the moment the door was opened again and in came Jon Snow.

"Why did the video pause again? Is it waiting for me to appear to restart!?" Jon Snow asked to nobody but he got his answer when the wall came to life with bright light. The room burst into murmurs and groans.

"So we all have to be here for the wall to show us our future?" Olenna sighed.

"Well, all the living. Rhaegar and I took a break and the wall continued to show you all the future" Elia pointed out.

"Fantastic" the Queen of Thorns rolled her eyes.

They all retook their seats and began watching again, none of them looking too comfortable with how many had said their goodbyes already.

[Entering King's Landing, we see Syrio Forel dancing with Arya.]

"Yah! Left high, left low. Right low, lunge right."

"Impressive" Oberyn muttered to himself. The Stark girl took to Water Dancing quite easily.

[Outside in a courtyard, a few Stark stewards are packing and bringing out the Stark family's belongings.]

"If you break anything, the Septa will have my head. What is..."

[The stewards are being slaughtered by the Kingsguard.]

"There was no need for that!" Catelyn hissed furiously. She knew most of those people personally, having delegated work to them when they were in Winterfell. Seeing them fall one after the other cut her deep.

[Going back inside the Red Keep, Sansa is walking down a hallway with her Septa.]

"Your sister knew perfectly well we were to leave today. How she could forget..."

"She didn't forget. She's with her dancing master. She's with him every morning. She always comes back with scrapes and bruises. She's so clumsy."

[Septa Mordane suddenly halts and makes Sansa stop as well.]

"Hush! Go back to your room. Bar the doors and do not open them for anyone you do not know."

She knows something is wrong," Arya said wide-eyed.

"Septa Mordane has always been keenly observant" Sansa informed her sister. "You'd know that if you paid attention when she spoke or taught us anything."

"Taught you, you mean. She was too busy berating me to teach me anything!" Arya huffed.

Sansa rolled her eyes.

Ned was glad he did not have to stop another fight between his daughters.

"What is it? What's happening?" Sansa asked

"Do as I told you. Run!" Septa ordered

[Back at Arya's training.]

"This way! Left, right. Rah! Now you are dead."

"You said right, but you went left."

"And now you are a dead girl."

"Only 'cause you lied."

"My tongue lied. My eyes shouted the truth. You were not seeing."

"I was so. I watched, but you..."

"Watching is not seeing, dead girl. The seeing, the true seeing, that is the heart of swordplay."

"A lesson, I hope you boys take in as well," Rickard Stark said to his grandsons. "Always be aware of what your opponent does, not says, what his body acts out even if everything else says otherwise. It would save you from losing your heads."

The boys nodded their heads and took note.

[The Kingsguard approaches.]

"Arya Stark, come with us. Your father wants to see you."

"And why is it that Lord Eddard is sending Lannister men in place of his own? I am wondering."

"Smart man" Ned whispered to himself.

''Mind your place, dancing master. This is no concern of yours."

"My father wouldn't send you."

"Smart girl" Ned whispered.

[As she picks up her wooden stick from the ground, she says.]

"And I don't have to go with you if I don't want to."

Ned held back a groan at his youngest's antics.

"Foreign bastard."

[The King's guard draws his sword. Before he can strike, Syrio hits him with his wooden stick. Knocking him out.]

"And you will be speaking to me with more respect."

"He's fast," Theon said in shock. He'd thought the man was just there to indulge in Arya's whims, of teaching her something that would never come in use, that the man was some sham. But for him to knock out a man that swiftly with a wooden sword?

The man was skilled.

"Kill the Braavosi. Bring the girl."

"Arya child, we are done with dancing for the day. Run to your father."

[Syrio Forel fights three guards at once, eventually knocking them all out.]

"Three at once without breaking a sweat" Robb stared slack-jawed.

"Bloody oafs."

"Be gone now, Arya."

"Come with me. Run."

"The first sword of Braavos does not run."

[Meryn Trant strikes Syrio, and a short duel takes place. Eventually, Meryn Trant cuts Syrio Forel's wooden sword into pieces.]

The Starks sigh in defeat. That moment of victory was short-lived.

"He fought bravely" Tyrion muttered. He too was put out by the Braavosi's defeat.

"What do we say to the God of death?"

"Not today."

"Go."

[Arya Stark runs off and hears a bunch of screams from down the hallway. Back on the other side of the Red Keep, Sansa runs on, but is stopped by a familiar face.]

"Stay away from me. I'll tell my father. I'll...I'll tell the Queen."

"Who do you think sent me?"

Arya and Sansa share a look. Neither spoke, but the fear in both their eyes was palpable. Nothing good was about to happen to either of them.

[Back to Arya, we see that she has arrived at the slaughtered stewards. She sees her belongings lying on the ground. A stable boy appears.]

"There she is."

"What do you want?"

"I want you, wolf girl. Come here."

"Leave me be. My father's a lord. He'll reward you."

"She'll reward me, the Queen!"

Ned holds back a growl of anger. Fucking Lannister.

"Stay away!"

[Accidentally, she turns around sliding Needle through the stable boy's belly. Her first kill is a fact. Shook as she is, she runs off.]
