Chapter 352 - Chapter 352: The Unawakenable Dream

The terrifying sword shadow covered the sky, and the Memoria itself boiled and twisted under the searing heat.

The pitch-black, tranquil night sky of the dream was split in half by blazing crimson-gold light.

Penacony's Dreamscape was built upon Memoria. In essence, all dream layers shared the same night sky—including Dreamflux Reef, hidden away by the Watchmaker.

Thus, this brilliance, dazzling to the extreme, shone across the entirety of the Dreamscape.

Crimson-gold flames carried an appalling aura of Destruction, far more frightening than even the fires of the Antimatter Legion.

Under such high-caliber sword aura, the Dreammaster's sword wave was annihilated in an instant.

"Is this really necessary?!"

The Dreammaster's face twisted with shock and bitterness as he voluntarily severed his final connection with the other members of the Oak Family.

This strike could have killed him cleanly—and even inflicted grievous damage upon the entire Dreamscape.

He knew well that even if he fully merged the minds of over a hundred thousand Oak Family members, they would still be insignificant before such power.

"Rejoice! The blazing flames shall cleave sinful dreams—here and now, the most benevolent, most righteous, most powerful Emanator purges all sin!"

Black Swan crossed her hands over her chest and gazed devoutly at the miracle in the sky. "Might descends upon Penacony, just as he did when he first beheld an Aeon!"

As expected, a powerhouse with such ambition could never be a docile, well-behaved darling.

She felt deeply fulfilled—being able to witness such a grand spectacle firsthand and record it was the greatest pleasure imaginable for a Memokeeper.

Even Fuli, the Aeon of Remembrance, ought to reward her for acquiring such precious memories. [Fuli:Go on, I'm watching.]

"Now that's what I call atmosphere."

Listening to the sincere yet seductive female voice beside him, Sol felt a surge of domineering presence radiate from his body.

Having a dedicated hype team at one's side really did make all the difference.

Sss!

The Dreammaster dissolved upon contact with the crimson-gold greatsword, reduced to a wisp of stray smoke within the Dreamscape.

The already-released [Edge of Taixuan]'s sword aura did not weaken in the slightest, instead streaking diagonally into the night sky.

Like a hot knife slicing through butter, the intact black night curtain was split open by an enormous rift.

Crimson-gold flames burned along both sides of the fissure, spreading across the entire Dreamscape.

The dense aura of Destruction poured forth, flooding the once-peaceful dream world with an apocalyptic sense of despair.

This single strike pierced through twelve different layers.

This single strike cleaved open the silent night sky above Dreamflux Reef.

Everyone looked up in awe, as if the end of days had descended upon the Dreamscape in an instant.

"How could this happen?!"

Robin looked up at the sky, her heart filled with anxiety and helplessness.

Was this the Family's plan? Was this the power those people had been hiding within the Families?

Activating it before the Charmony Festival—there had to be some unspeakable purpose behind it.

This power was far too strong, practically unmatched. She had never imagined they were hiding such a force utterly different from Harmony—perhaps this was the confidence behind their attempt to revive Order.

She had to rally strength as soon as possible. She could not allow the Family's conspiracy to succeed.

"Brother, no matter what you're plotting, I won't let you succeed!"

Robin's expression hardened as she had already contacted the Astral Express.

She believed that the Trailblazers, connected across the universe by silver rails, would have far broader connections.

She began searching for Gallagher's whereabouts, preparing to guide him into Dreamflux Reef once more.

At the same time, people across all moments erupted into chaos.

"There's such a massive cavity in the sky—are the dreams about to be destroyed?!"

A short Pepeshi looked up in terror.

"Please don't let it be destroyed now!"

"I've been selling my ass in the Dreamscape for thirty years—I just bought permanent residency rights to the Golden Hour!"

"Dreamscape, if you get destroyed, won't I have sold my ass for nothing?! Don't collapse! You have to hold on!"

A middle-aged Pepeshi with pom-poms on his head knelt on the ground, bawling loudly despite the strange looks from those around him.

He had suffered too much—far too much.

After sacrificing so much, he was finally about to become one of the elite of the Golden Hour. How could the Dreamscape collapse at a moment like this?!

If it was destroyed now, all his suffering would have been for nothing.

That overwhelming sorrow spread rapidly, and soon many Pepeshi were wailing on the ground.

Their race loved business more than anything and had invested heavily in industries within the Dreamscape.

If the Dreamscape was destroyed, all that hard-earned—no, ill-gotten—money would be gone!

Meanwhile, visitors from across the universe were equally shaken.

The terrifying mark in the sky radiated Destruction, reminding them of something dreadful.

"The Antimatter Legion is here. Only those things carry such terrifying Destruction."

The Antimatter Legion was infamous throughout the universe, delivering annihilation to all life without discrimination.

Only those monsters possessed such pure, horrifying Destruction.

"This isn't an ordinary member of the Antimatter Legion!" one traveler said with certainty. "A Lord Ravager has arrived! I've heard there's one who loves creating destruction around stars!"

Under Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction who sought to annihilate the universe, stood seven Lord Ravagers.

Each practiced Destruction in a different way, but without exception, all were nightmares to life.

Even factions guarded by Emanators wanted nothing to do with these beings.

"But didn't Penacony's Families once summon the Harmony Emanator [Eternal Centurion] and beat the Antimatter Legion so badly they never dared return?"

A traveler voiced the doubt—this was also one reason Penacony was known as the Planet of Festivities.

It was said to be impregnable, with a history of driving off the Antimatter Legion.

"Idiot. That's exactly why this time it's a Lord Ravager!" someone snapped. "That's an Emanator of Destruction—they're not afraid of the Family!"

All Lord Ravagers were Emanators, and among the most active ones at that.

Every so often, Interastral Peace broadcasts reported another star system destroyed. The seven Lord Ravagers rotated through the headlines one after another.

"So… are we finished?"

"That's a Lord Ravager! I heard wherever they go, not a single living soul survives!"

"Get out of the Dreamscape! Leave Penacony now!"

"No—I can't log out! This damn aura of Destruction is disrupting the Memoria—we're stuck in here!"

"It's too late to run! Even running won't save us now!"

Countless interstellar travelers' legs went weak with fear as they stared at the widening fissure in the sky.

No one knew what would happen next.

If vast swathes of Memoria were burned away, the entire Dreamscape would be annihilated.

The Family claimed that death did not exist within dreams—but who knew what would happen if one's mind and the Dreamscape were destroyed together?

Would they wake in shock back to reality… or sink into irreversible brain death?

As the horrifying flames of Destruction consumed the sky, the balance in people's hearts slowly tipped toward the latter.
