Emma, proud, showed Luke her script:
"You're not my writer this time, but I'm doing fine, right?"
Luke skimmed it. The urban romance was solid.
"Not bad at all. I wouldn't change a thing," he admitted.
Emma, delighted, asked:
"And your script? Is it ready? Show me!"
Luke didn't have a hard copy, but Tony chimed in:
"I've got a printed version."
He handed the script to Emma, who took it with a smile. After they left, she settled under the parasol and opened Iron Man.
From the first page, she was hooked. Tony Stark's genius, fall, redemption, and armor-building captivated her. When she reached the final scene, where Stark declares "I am Iron Man," chills ran down her spine.
"My God…" she whispered, closing the script, stunned.
"Luke wrote a masterpiece! He's even more talented than I thought!"
She glanced at her own script, suddenly lackluster by comparison.
"I underestimated Luke. My ideas held him back…" she sighed, a mix of admiration and jealousy in her heart.
Meanwhile, Tony returned to América, still euphoric. He hugged Vanessa:
"Sweetheart, I did it!"
Vanessa, teary-eyed, congratulated him. Tony recounted everything: Luke's massive budget, the lead role, and…
"Luke wants you to play Stark's assistant!"
Vanessa, incredulous, read the contract Tony brought. A 20,000 BlueCoins salary and a major role.
"This is a dream come true," she whispered, signing with emotion.
Hand in hand, the couple mailed the contract. Their shared dream of shining on the big screen was within reach.
