Chapter 4 - Annie

"Mr. Cai, hello, boarding is now available. Shall I take you there directly?"

At the airport.

A quiet VIP lounge.

A young flight attendant dressed in a navy blue uniform with a red belt accessory at her waist stood gracefully before Cai Kun, a gentle smile on her elegant face.

The flight attendant gave a slight bow and spoke softly.

Her appearance was quite attractive; with makeup, she easily qualified as an internet goddess level beauty.

In his previous life, such close contact would have made Cai Kun blush and lose his composure.

Now, he only showed a calm expression, stood up, and replied mildly, "Then let's go directly now."

Money gives a man courage.

Aside from his family background, the five hundred million dollars in his account was enough to handle most things.

"Alright."

The flight attendant stepped aside half a pace: "Please follow me."

Still smiling, she led Cai Kun toward the boarding gate.

Passing through a dedicated boarding passage, Cai Kun quickly found his seat—2A by the window.

Lying back in the comfortable, fully reclinable seat, his legs had ample room to stretch out.

Suddenly, Cai Kun understood why wealthy people were willing to pay several times the price for business class.

At least he no longer had to recall being cramped in economy seats in his previous life, unable to even stretch his legs due to his height.

No sooner had he settled when a tall and even more striking flight attendant approached.

Her long hair was pinned up, revealing exquisite features.

Her face wasn't the typical oval shape but had a touch of baby fat that added a bit of innocence and charm.

Most eye-catching were her slender legs wrapped in black stockings, about 1.7 meters tall, perfectly proportioned and shapely.

She adjusted her skirt and half-kneeling beside Cai Kun, lifted her fair face to meet his gaze. Her bright eyes seemed to speak as they sparkled with life.

"Mr. Cai, welcome aboard this flight. I'm your flight attendant, Annie. Please use this hot towel to freshen up."

Annie handed over a steaming hot towel.

Her voice was soft and sweet, like a gentle spring breeze whispering into his ears.

Cai Kun took the towel, silently appreciating. No wonder flight attendants were so sought after.

Any man witnessing this would feel an overwhelming sense of conquest and satisfaction.

"This flight will depart at 10:08 and is scheduled to arrive in Hu City at 12:40 noon, a total flight time of two hours and thirty-two minutes."

"There will be a meal service at noon. Since you're in business class, you may order from the menu on your right. If you need anything, just let me know."

"There's still some time before takeoff. Let me bring you some fruit; please wait patiently."

Annie's voice came again.

Cai Kun waved his hand gently, "No fruit, just a bottle of water please."

"Of course."

Soon Annie returned with a bottle of Perrier sparkling water.

"Thank you."

Cai Kun took it and took a sip.

"You're welcome."

Annie smiled shyly, "I won't disturb you then. If you need anything during the flight, feel free to ask me. I'll do my best within my duties to assist you."

"What if it's beyond your duties?"

Cai Kun raised an eyebrow, interested.

Annie remained composed and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, smiling, "That depends on what you want."

Cai Kun's fingers lightly tapped the armrest, his expression calm. "For example... exchanging contact info?"

Annie was slightly taken aback.

Requests for contact info were common for flight attendants.

During training, they were taught how to politely refuse without upsetting passengers.

As one of the most outstanding attendants, Annie wasn't surprised by the request but was struck by his attitude.

Usually, when people asked, they would be awkward and hesitant.

But Cai Kun was straightforward and calm, as if it was just a casual matter.

His face showed no hesitation, and he looked her directly in the eyes.

This young and handsome man seemed out of place with such boldness.

Annie blushed slightly and looked away first, cheeks warming.

"This is my first time going to Hu City. I'd like a guide to help me get familiar with the city. You fly there often, so you must know it well."

Cai Kun smiled, "I'll treat you to dinner if you show me around. How about that?"

"Well..."

Annie hesitated.

Though they were adults, everyone knew why someone asked for contact info.

His words were polite but implied more.

She wanted to refuse, but looking at his delicate profile, she couldn't find the courage to say no.

Being asked for contact info by a young and handsome man like Cai Kun, compared to greasy middle-aged men, was quite different.

Though direct, his clear eyes didn't make her uncomfortable.

Instead, she felt secretly pleased.

Cai Kun looked around twenty years old, but exuded a maturity beyond his years. Riding business class, his family background must be impressive.

That such a man asked her for contact info once again proved her own charm.

She recalled conversations with other flight attendants.

They often said, "This job relies on youth and is always moving between cities. The circle is small."

"If you meet the right person, don't hesitate."

"Once you miss your chance, it's gone."

Annie hadn't taken these words seriously before, but now she was starting to waver.

"If it's inconvenient, forget it."

As she hesitated, Cai Kun suddenly spoke, calm as ever, unaffected.

Annie was stunned by the interruption. Suddenly recalling something, her face flushed bright red, the fine hairs on her skin standing out.

"Wait a moment."

Annie glanced around. Seeing the crew chief wasn't paying attention, she quickly scribbled a number on a note with a pen.

Tearing off the page, she handed it to Cai Kun.

"This is my number. I'll be in Hu City for three days."

Her voice was like a mosquito's hum, not caring whether Cai Kun heard clearly, she blushed deeply and left without looking back.

Cai Kun looked at the neat handwriting on the note.

A slight smile curved his lips...

...

Two and a half hours flew by in the blink of an eye.

The plane landed smoothly.

Cai Kun stood and headed toward the exit.

As a business class passenger, he had priority to disembark.

Traveling light, he only carried two sets of clothes and his admission letter.

He wanted to visit the school, but without the letter, entering would be difficult.

Other things could be bought later.

The crew had already lined up at the door waiting.

"Thank you for flying with us. Have a pleasant journey, and we look forward to seeing you again."

The flight attendants said in unison.

Annie was among them.

She smiled as if nothing had happened and waved at Cai Kun, though her ears remained slightly red.

Cai Kun smiled back but said nothing more.

Watching his back disappear, Annie let out a sigh of relief.

Her cheeks still warm.

After giving Cai Kun her number, she had some regrets, fearing he might misunderstand her as easy.

But recalling his tall, handsome figure, youthful yet mature, she also felt a little hopeful...

...

After getting off the plane, Cai Kun went to the taxi queue.

He got into a car and calmly said, "Driver, please take me to the Ferrari Center in Jing'an."
