[This chapter serves as a compendium of lore for Crown of the Void. All information here is gradually revealed throughout the story but compiled here for clarity and immersion. It may contain mild spoilers.]
❖ General Cosmology✦
The Three Pillars
The universe is sustained by three fundamental planes:
Celestial Plane – Order, permanence, obedience. Ruled by the will (or inertia) of God.
Abyssal Plane – Emotion, chaos, entropy. Domain of demons, passion, and freedom.
Human Plane – Instability, contradiction, potential. The only realm of true choice.
These are not merely places — they are cosmic forces.
Reality itself is forged in the tension between them.
❖ The Power System✦
Bonds
Power is accessed through mystical connections called Bonds, formed through sacrifice and spiritual alignment.
Bonds awaken supernatural abilities but always demand a price.
✦ Bond Types
Celestial Bond – Born from faith, devotion, structure.
Abyssal Bond – Born from pain, instinct, desire.
Void Bond – Forged by rejecting both Order and Chaos. A paradox made flesh.
📄 Classes of Bond
Each class defines the combat style, philosophy, and spiritual toll of the Bond user:
Classes
Hemocorte
Precision and soulblades. Every cut takes something from the user.
Celestial / Abyssal
Ruínico
Breaks rules of reality and spirit. Corrupts logic and matter.
Abyssal / Void
Pesso
Walking fortresses. They block, contain, and endure through divine reinforcement.
Celestial
Somacor
Uses paradoxes: healing poison, dark light, twisted blessings. Fusion of opposites.
Celestial / Abyssal
Ressonate
Converts memories, trauma, and sound into destructive power.
Void
Marka
The more pain suffered, the stronger the power. Leaves permanent scars on body and soul.
Abyssal / Void
🔧 Subclasses can be developed for major characters depending on their evolution.
📄 Sacrifices by Type
No Bond is forged without cost. Sacrifices are classified by their essence:
Type
Corporeal
Involves the body directly — loss of limbs, organs, or sensation.
Emotional
Forfeits bonds of affection, memories, or identity.
Temporal
Sacrifices time — years of life, or speed of aging.
Mental
Involves sanity, logic, or awareness.
Existential
The most dangerous: sacrificing meaning, fate, or moral compass.
Sacrifices stack. Some Bonds require multiple types — creating deeply broken wielders.
❖ The Celestials✦
Divine Order
Angels do not act out of emotion or compassion — they follow the Codex of Inertia, a sacred text that writes itself only when morality is tested.
The Immovable Throne is occupied by God — who does not speak or move. His presence alone generates reality and divine purpose.
Angels follow a hierarchy:
Seraphim – Purest flame of Heaven. Each a concept made flesh.
Archangels – High commanders. Named powers with autonomy.
Principates – Messengers and wardens. Often interact with the human world.
Choirs & Wings – Lower angels. Extensions of divine protocol.
✦ Key Figures
Raziel – Scribe of God. Interpreter of the Codex.
Uriel – Flame of judgment.
Gabriel – Voice of logic and reason.
Michael – First sword. Without mercy.
Seraphiel – Divine madness. A beast of order unbound by form.
❖ The Abyssals✦
Law of Chaos
The Abyss thrives on instability. Each realm is ruled by one of the Six Kings, and the rules shift with their moods. There is no law — only pact and power.
✦ Key Abyssal Figures
Lilith – The Famished.
Lucifer – The First King.
Belial – Brutal and deranged.
Mammon – Mercantile demon.
Astaroth – The Politician
Paimon – The Regent
❖ The Human Realm✦
Convents and Bond Training
Humans are trained in convents — militarized temples that study Bond manipulation and defense of humanity.
Each convent is tied to a philosophy:
Belchiour – Discipline and physical sacrifice.
Zarmiel – Emotional sacrifice and memory-based training.
Thamriel – Forbidden Bonds. Void manipulation.
Kuron-Nar – Combat specialists. Often die young.
Humans may choose their path — or be chosen by the Bonds they form.
