Chapter 100: Fury's Death is Glorious; Even the Evil God Knull Cannot Compare.

The Symbiote legions were constantly being routed.

Across the entire Earth, the innumerable Symbiotes seemed to have suddenly lost their connection with Knull. As if regaining their freedom, they stood in place, bewildered, before quickly scattering in chaos.

"Strange, why have these things stopped attacking? I was all prepared."

"Trying to run now? Did they ask for my permission? These damned bastards killed so many of our people, and only now do they think to run?"

"Quick, capture some alive! I'm going to put them on my lab table and dissect them countless times!"

The intelligent ones quickly realized it was because the battle had taken an astonishing turn. To be more precise, Du Wa had achieved a critical victory in outer space.

Countless people who had been struggling bitterly wept with joy. Submerged in a vast ocean of Symbiotes, they constantly faced the risk of being possessed, manipulated, and reduced to cannon fodder, but Du Wa had never let them down. This time was no exception.

The gloom that had enveloped the entire planet had now lifted in one corner, which was enough to fill people with elation.

Perhaps it wasn't an illusion; the astonishing pressure from outer space had noticeably dissipated.

"This nightmare is finally ending. In that case, no more Symbiotes will pester me, right? Every single one of these damned things wants to take my armor."

Although Tony had also achieved brilliant results, using the Celestial Armor's power to unleash immense might and sweep the surface, he was also extremely troubled. The armor he piloted was targeted by a massive horde of Symbiotes, and he was repeatedly besieged by wave after wave of Symbiote dragons. Even though he continuously used powerful energy to kill every attacking Symbiote, he found it impossible to slaughter so many enemies at once.

"Although I haven't been completely surrounded by these things, I have this strange feeling that if I let them completely cover this suit, something terrible will happen... At that point, I'll lose control of this armor, and under the Symbiotes' control, it will turn around and attack Du Wa."

Tony sat inside the Celestial Armor, countless fragments of images flashing before his eyes.

He was reviewing the entire battle, lost in thought. He suddenly realized that these Symbiotes were not useless; those Symbiote dragons, in particular, were terrifyingly strong.

He had once considered the feasibility of creating a Symbiote armor, but considering the Symbiotes' mental corrosion, he had cautiously chosen to team up with Banner to repair this Celestial Armor instead.

If he could capture a batch of Symbiote dragons and create an exclusive armor, the results might exceed his expectations. Moreover, he could carry it with him, integrated with his body, like manually creating a new organ for himself that took up no extra space.

"Tony, don't let your guard down. Continue to clean up these Symbiotes. We can't allow these damned things to survive on Earth. We must eliminate every potential threat," Fury's voice came through.

"I have an idea. You could pilot this armor directly into outer space to fight, go help Du Wa, and end this war completely. It would be even better if you could capture the origin of the Symbiotes. You might be able to wipe out all the Symbiotes scattered across the world in one go," Dr. Banner said quickly while tapping on his keyboard.

"Like in *Judgment Day*? That's a bit far-fetched. Even if it were possible, Du Wa wouldn't agree," Tony said. "However, I am very interested in fighting in outer space. I could collect some valuable data."

"Absolutely not. The Celestial Armor is an important asset of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a treasure of Earth. You can't just pilot it off-world on a whim." Fury immediately vetoed the idea. He was unwilling to let any accident happen to this Celestial Armor.

What the hell kind of place was outer space? It was the domain of dangerous characters like Du Wa and that monster formed from countless Symbiotes. Who knew what kind of state their battle was in now.

After all, a large number of satellites in outer space had been destroyed, so they could only observe from the surface with telescopes.

From the current look of things, perhaps the alien evil god controlling the Symbiotes could no longer hold on. It had been forced to relinquish control over a batch of Symbiotes, conserving its power to deal with Du Wa with all its might.

If he had a choice, Fury truly wished that Du Wa and his enemies would annihilate each other, or that he would never return to Earth.

At this moment, if he had a shield defense system capable of covering the entire Earth, he would activate it without hesitation to permanently isolate the danger beyond the planet.

Dr. Banner listened to the conversation between Fury and Tony and suddenly let out a series of cold laughs.

"Nick Fury, do I really need to spell it out for you? At this point, you don't still think you're the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., do you? Do you think you'll have a chance to survive after this war ends? If I were Du Wa, with millions upon millions of Xenomorphs at my command, I would scour the entire Earth to find you and then kill you, just like he killed Coulson back then."

Dr. Banner made no effort to hide the malice in his heart, openly conveying his schadenfreude. He couldn't wait to see Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. suffer misfortune.

"I know. Until the day I die, I am still the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and I will not allow this planet to be ruled by a tyrant. Just give me a little more time..."

Fury hadn't finished speaking before he was interrupted by Dr. Banner, who was intent on causing him trouble: "Even if this tyrant you speak of is the savior of the world?"

"That's right. He saves the world not because he is full of love for it, but because doing so is a convenient way for him to augment his own strength."

"What an astonishing accusation. I get it," Dr. Banner mocked. "You want someone who seeks no reward, someone whose passion is entirely dedicated to serving others—now I understand why you used the Cosmic Cube to create that fantasy Captain of yours. It's because people like you need a tool with that kind of personality. Let me make a bold guess: you've upgraded that fantasy Captain? Made him stronger?"

"I have not. I have already used the Cosmic Cube to recall the false Captain. There has only ever been one Captain America—"

The next second, sharp and urgent alarms blared throughout the entire Helicarrier.

It was the alarm for a total breach of the vessel's shields, which also meant that the other three Helicarriers serving as its escort had all been destroyed.

"This is bad, boss! Captain America has been snatched by a Symbiote dragon!"

"What? Immediately dispatch a combat team to get him back! Captain America had clearly obtained a fragment of the Cosmic Cube and he was immensely strong. How could he have been captured?"

"That Symbiote dragon was cunning; it had its eyes on Captain America for a long time! It waited for an opening, then rushed in to possess and abscond with him..."

Fury's expression was incredibly ugly. He had gone so far as to cut off a piece of the Cosmic Cube to enhance Captain America's strength, all to bolster the power of S.H.I.E.L.D. and take a risk to preserve a beacon of justice for the post-war world.

Everyone knew that after this battle, regardless of whether Earth won or lost, the entire world would inevitably undergo earth-shattering changes.

If they won, Du Wa would largely control this planet. If they lost, it went without saying: everyone would become a vessel for the Symbiotes, and Earth would become a Symbiote planet.

On the battered Helicarrier, the few remaining long-range weapons and a couple of jets were immediately deployed to attack the dragon that had snatched Captain America, but unfortunately, it was of little use.

"Don't even think about it. Give up. Based on our observations, the Symbiote dragons are different from the ordinary ones. There haven't been any instances of them falling into chaos or fleeing. This means they are all under the direct control of that enemy of unknown origin. You also can't use sonic weapons or incendiary bombs; they're basically useless against them."

Against ordinary Symbiotes, an ordinary person could indeed resolve the danger they posed without injury, as long as they responded appropriately and made preparations in advance.

But it was a different story for Symbiotes enhanced by Knull's consciousness. Their supposed weaknesses were greatly diminished.

Similar incidents were happening in many places on Earth. Knull was clearly planning to plunder the Earth one last time, acquiring some high-quality hosts to serve as his subordinates.

Of course, this evil god didn't spare the Xenomorphs either, snatching away quite a few.

Fury still wanted to send a message to the resistance forces around the world, but he quickly realized that would be impossible.

Because as the Symbiotes retreated, the dilapidated Helicarrier he was on was struggling to muster its remaining power, slowly falling toward the sea.

A large number of Xenomorphs were already floating in the seawater, having waited for a long time.

Fury only needed to glance down at the countless Xenomorphs on the sea's surface to know his fate.

"What a fine method. Using the chaos of war to eliminate me? Sometimes I really think Du Wa's use of order borders on the fastidious."

Fury was silent for a long while before finally letting out a long sigh. Once again, just like many times in the past, he had no choice.

Fury looked again in Tony's direction, his heart filled with resentment.

If he'd had more time, he would have had every opportunity to convert the numerous secrets in his hands into actual power, then use that power to recruit more people, creating a virtuous cycle.

Putting other things aside, the Symbiote dragon Grendel and the Celestial Armor alone would have been enough to become a significant force in Fury's hands.

But what was the result? Grendel was released by Loki, who had somehow gotten into the base, and this directly led to the current global war.

As for the Celestial Armor... by the time it appeared, it was no longer a game-changer.

As the Helicarrier officially crashed, a large number of Xenomorphs attacked without hesitation, dismembering the dilapidated vessel, bloodily slaughtering the remaining agents, and destroying all weapons.

Dr. Banner, who had chosen to jump ship long before the crash, had already transformed into the Hulk. He was not besieged by the Xenomorphs and now only watched from afar, let out a roar, and swam off toward the distance without looking back.

Although the Hulk still had the intellect of a child, he wasn't stupid. How could he fight the Xenomorphs to the death? After this battle, the masters of Earth could only be these Xenomorphs and their master.

Du Wa didn't care about any of this.

It was merely a death throe. Even a god could not change the outcome.

"Knull, just die. Go to the place where you belong. Piss off to the Abyss and cling to your wretched life."

Du Wa was destroying Knull bit by bit.

But Knull refused to admit defeat. Many Celestials had pummeled him, but none had ever made him submit, let alone Du Wa.

"You think you can kill me? Don't even think about it. Although I don't know why you know so much about me, even that there's an Abyss inside my body, I am immortal. I can be resurrected from the Abyss endlessly. Even if you kill all of these consciousnesses of mine, my true self is on Klyntar, continuously reclaiming the power that belongs to me."

Knull's voice was exceptionally shrill, like a shriek, but no matter how he struggled, his defeat was already sealed.

"Your name is Du Wa, correct? The humiliation you have brought upon me will soon be washed away. When that time comes, I will turn you into my Symbiote puppet, along with all your Xenomorphs."

"So much nonsense. If you're so strong, why haven't I seen you wipe out all the Celestials in the universe? It's not that you don't want to, you just can't. When you can actually do it, then you can kneel before me and beg for my response." Du Wa's voice emanated from the three Skyfather-level Xenomorphs.

Knull's tenacity was known throughout the universe, but by the time Knull made his next comeback, the power Du Wa wielded would be far greater than what he had now.

"Foolish! You think that's all? My follower exists on Earth as well! Just now, she successfully obtained my power. Now is the time to... wait, why is there no reaction? That woman is actually using my power to resist me?"

Knull suddenly flew into a rage. A portion of his power had vanished into thin air and could not be reclaimed. It was being held in a death grip by the Ancient One, who had acquired it and refused to return even a sliver of it.

"It seems the Ancient One has succeeded on her end. Forcibly seizing a portion of Knull's power will further delay Knull's return to his peak."

Du Wa immediately knew what had happened and expressed his admiration for the Ancient One's actions.

Borrowing power and not returning it, instead turning around to beat up the creditor—the Ancient One was far too skilled at this game and had perfected it over time. Dormammu had plenty to say on that subject.

As Du Wa struck again, and with the Ancient One having laid down a magic circle to continuously siphon Knull's power by following his methods—forcing Knull to divert some of his energy—Knull's massive body began to completely disintegrate amidst the tremors of immense energy particles.

Once again, he had suffered a crushing defeat. Once again, filled with rage and humiliation, he was forced to swallow the bitter fruit of failure.

Knull used the last of his power to open a lightning portal in outer space on the other side of Earth, taking all his spoils of war, including Captain America, with him.

Fury's heart shattered. One of his trump cards had just been snatched away by Knull.

But Fury no longer had the opportunity to consider his next course of action. He looked around at the Xenomorphs that had slaughtered all the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

"...Should I feel honored, you sons of bitches? I once had the opportunity to wipe out your entire species in one fell swoop, but unfortunately, I underestimated Du Wa. If only, at that time, when Blade made a deal with Du Wa..."

Fury's heart was filled with regret. A man on the verge of death always rapidly recalls his tumultuous life, hating himself for missing so many opportunities, which had led to this day's outcome.

A Xenomorph stepped forward, flicked its claws, and with a flash of cold light, Fury's head soared into the sky.
