Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Xenomorphs Like to Team Fight

Chapter 8: Xenomorphs Like to Team Fight

As an elite soldier, Blonsky was a man with his own ideas. He believed a real man had to be big and fierce!

Just like the Hulk, who gets bigger when provoked and even bigger when hit.

Blonsky deeply craved what the Hulk had. The best way to admire something is to study it, then become it.

And that's exactly what he did.

"Let me be clear, this is an imperfect serum. If any problems arise..." a skinny scientist said cautiously.

"Enough! I know what I'm doing. If you dawdle any longer, I'll kill you!"

Blonsky said impatiently, "Hurry up and keep injecting me. I want to be stronger than the Hulk!"

Hearing this, Mr. Blue couldn't help but secretly shake his head. Becoming stronger than the Hulk by injecting a serum extracted from the Hulk's blood? Was that something a sane person would say? Such a thing was simply impossible.

Even hybrid experiments required many generations of artificial selection.

But Blonsky didn't care about that. The soldier had already gone mad, and Mr. Blue was happy to inject the serum into Blonsky's body.

As an online acquaintance of Dr. Banner, he had conducted various experiments on Banner and had Hulk's blood in his possession. Now was the perfect time to use Blonsky to verify his results.

"The Hulk is much more powerful than I anticipated. My intellect is simply insufficient to perfectly unlock the power in the Hulk's blood. This is troublesome..."

Mr. Blue also had his own worries. He planned to escape and hide for a while as soon as the injection was complete.

"If you ever have a moment of clarity again, you can come find me. Perhaps we'll have another opportunity to cooperate."

Mr. Blue said this, but he believed there would be no next time for Blonsky. Blonsky would be unable to bear the power of the serum. The best-case scenario was a genetic mutation, followed by his capture and being locked in a prison to be experimented on to death by the authorities.

Roar!

Sure enough, Blonsky began to transform. His body swelled, bursting through the ceiling. His skin became like that of a lizard, and sharp bone spikes grew from his spine.

"Power, this is power!"

Blonsky was incredibly excited, his face twisted as he felt the great power continuously erupting from within his body.

Along with it came an anger that was inseparable from this power. Mixed with Blonsky's own thoughts, it coalesced into a new emotion—hatred.

Blonsky gave his new super-powered self a name: "Abomination." This was to reclaim the self-esteem he had lost to the Hulk, and it was the name he would use to kill the Hulk and prove he was the strongest.

"Abomination, is it? I don't think you'll get the chance to take revenge on the Hulk. Because I'm here."

Several Xenomorphs burst through the window. With agile movements, they darted across the walls and floor, surrounding Abomination.

Mr. Blue shuddered and pulled his gaze away from Abomination, looking in astonishment at these mysterious creatures.

As a biologist, he understood at a glance. These unheard-of things were probably not natural creatures—at least not natural creatures from Earth. Because no natural creature on Earth had an exoskeleton-like body structure, much less a look that was so... sci-fi.

With just one look, Mr. Blue was deeply fascinated by these creatures, and his pace of escape slowed down a bit. When a Messenger Xenomorph crouched not far from him, "staring" at him with its eyeless head, he found it even harder to leave. He could only press himself cautiously against the wall, inching along, trying to get as far away as possible from the frenzied Abomination.

"Did Ross send you? How ridiculous! He used to be my general, binding me with his laughable rules. Now it's my turn to manage him! I'm stronger than him!" Abomination's mind was filled with all sorts of violent thoughts.

"You're stronger than him? That's great. If I'm stronger than you, then it's only reasonable for me to take everything from you."

Du Wa said this, his eyes scraping over the burly Abomination like a pair of knives.

To be honest, Abomination was ugly, at least far uglier than the Hulk, but Du Wa didn't mind.

"What's with that look?"

"A look of appreciation. In my eyes, you will be very beautiful when you transform into another form," Du Wa said, not stinting on his praise and admiration.

Abomination was stunned. He felt this little guy was probably crazy and raised a foot to stomp down. Beauty? Ugliness? Just a moment ago, he felt his own mind was a bit crazed and hard to control. Now it seemed this stranger had been mad all along.

A ferocious grin stretched across his lips, his mouth filling with sharp teeth. Abomination hoped to feel the sensation of squishing a pile of flesh.

BOOM!

He missed the person, only smashing the floor and creating a deep pit.

"You don't even have the strength to hit someone, yet you have the nerve to say you'll fight the Hulk?"

Du Wa retreated at a speed far exceeding that of an ordinary person and gave a signal. Soon, more Xenomorphs appeared, completely surrounding Abomination and attacking in unison.

The Xenomorphs, generally no more than three meters tall, were undoubtedly too small compared to the four-meter-tall, muscle-bound Abomination. But there were more of them!

Eleven Xenomorphs attacked in waves. The strongest Blood Xenomorph charged at the front, whipping its tail to stab at Abomination's eyes.

"A joke! You think you can deal with me with just these things?"

It was Abomination's first time seeing Xenomorphs, but he wasn't scared at all. He laughed maniacally and reached out, grabbing a Xenomorph that was a step too slow. With a brutal smile on his face, he squeezed hard with both hands.

SPLAT!

But unfortunately, there was no splash of red, but rather a splash of green.

That's right, the same green as the Hulk. Except this green blood was an incredibly terrifying strong acid. The moment it touched Abomination's palm, it made him let out a world-shaking wail!

Pain, pain, pain, it hurt so much!

Faced with this blood that could instantly corrode superalloys, even Abomination's skin, which could withstand the blast of a rocket launcher, couldn't hold up!

Sizzle!

His skin was burned through, his flesh and blood dissolved, revealing the stark white bone beneath. What was worse, even the bone was starting to crack.

Fortunately, Abomination possessed a powerful healing factor. With a roar, his injuries began to recover at a speed visible to the naked eye.

But taking advantage of this precious interval, more Xenomorphs pounced on him.

Several Messenger Xenomorphs rapidly climbed the walls, found their chance, and spat acid, leaving large gashes on Abomination's body.

Abomination roared repeatedly. Given his size, any Xenomorph he caught would be lucky to only lose a limb. Only the Blood Xenomorph fared slightly better, its higher physical durability allowing it to take a hit.

"What the hell are these things!"

Abomination killed three Xenomorphs in a row, but he was also extremely troubled by their siege.

The Xenomorphs' coordination was just too good. When he was about to grab one, the others would always seize the perfect moment to attack, forcing him to switch targets. Of course, he could choose not to switch targets, but that would come at the cost of injury.

Abomination grabbed another Xenomorph, but the price was not light. A Blood Xenomorph rushed up, opened its mouth, and shot out its inner jaw.

The tongue-like inner jaw extended at a speed faster than a bullet. The teeth at its tip bit into Abomination's eye, and then with a vicious tug, sent a spray of blood flying.

Abomination let out a pained howl. The Blood Xenomorph that had landed the hit then tore at his flesh, rapidly recovering its stamina and healing its injuries by absorbing his blood.

"Now's the time. He can be face-hugged." Du Wa was circling the safe zone on the periphery, constantly looking for an opportunity. Now, it had finally arrived.

That's right. The reason he had accepted Blade's private invitation to risk participating in this operation was precisely for this moment.
