"Ling Leishi may be pinned down, but a Titled Douluo is still a thorny problem. If we slip up even once, the Aerial Legion we have left will be wiped out."

Feng Xiaotian wasn't foolish enough to clash head-on with a Titled Douluo—that would be suicide. He had to attack the enemy's weaknesses with his strengths.

After a moment's thought, he sent a long-range voice transmission to the remaining deputy commanders of the Aerial Legion: "Follow my lead. Take your squads and make successive passes at the edge of his thunder domain from different directions. Don't go in—just feint. Keep his attention on you."

"Understood!"

The deputy commanders immediately relayed the order, and the Aerial Legion moved at once.

Feng Xiaotian didn't strike yet—he needed Ling Leishi to be truly enraged. After several exchanges, he had already grasped the man's temperament. Like his spirit, he was defined by the word "rampant." Men like that—big, blunt, and bull-headed—were the easiest to provoke.

Of course, Feng Xiaotian wasn't idle; he was waiting for a single, lethal opening. He clasped his hands behind his back, extending the index and middle fingers of each hand. Wind gathered swiftly at his fingertips, compressing, as if brewing a terrifying technique.

Elsewhere, the Aerial Legion dove in from every direction, piloting their flying soul tools toward the crackling rim of the thunder domain.

Ling Leishi gave a cold snort. "Hmph. Planning to wear down my domain with sacrifices? Moths to a flame—laughable!"

But that wasn't what happened.

Just as the flyers were about to touch the domain, they swerved sharply, skimming along its very edge at high speed. As they streaked past, their Zhuge God-Crossbows fired in continuous volleys—swish, swish, swish—a ceaseless tearing of the air.

With his thunder domain active, Ling Leishi was a fixed target. The domain's power was immense, but the price was immobility.

Rumble!

Bolts neared Ling Leishi only to be blasted to splinters by lashing thunder. He shattered every incoming bolt, yet the sheer momentum of the assault kept him from relaxing. The relentless harassment finally lit his temper.

"Damn it! I, a dignified Titled Douluo, am being humiliated by a swarm of ants! Die! All of you, die!"

Teeth clenched, eyes blazing, fury contorted his boarish features. He couldn't move his feet, but his arms could still direct the domain's attacks. He whipped his arms through the air, and the lightning shot out like arrows, spearing the speeding bolts. Even after smashing the projectiles, the arcs of electricity retained their force, cracking outward toward the flyers. A few who couldn't evade in time were charred to cinders, their lives snuffed out in an instant.

Feng Xiaotian's eyes hardened. "Damn—so he can strike at range!"

He made a decision on the spot and sent another command: "Hold on, everyone. Widen the distance. I refuse to believe his reach is greater than our crossbows!"

"Yes, General Feng!"

The Aerial Legion immediately pulled back, gauged Ling Leishi's effective range, and deliberately drifted in and out of his sightlines. This naked provocation pushed the Titled Douluo right over the edge.

"Abominable! Detestable! You have no idea what a Titled Douluo is! Die—all of you die!"

Blinded by anger, Ling Leishi's hands blurred into afterimages, loosing a storm of thunderbolts.

The flyers had anticipated it. They yanked their soul tools into steep climbs, skirting the attacks by a hairsbreadth. Then, tauntingly, the bulk of the Aerial Legion massed in front of him again. Not only did they refuse to flee, they peppered him with occasional bolts for good measure.

"Die! Die!"

Snarling, Ling Leishi flung lightning with both arms, pouring his full focus into blasting the flyers apart. At that exact moment, his back was wide open.

Feng Xiaotian seized the opportunity. The Gale Twin Wings behind him flared as wind essence streamed to his fingertips. A small, nearly black azure orb formed there—wind compressed again and again into a deadly seed. It was a move he'd spent two years learning from his second master, Yun Shan.

"Limit of Wind—Falling Kill!"

Feng Xiaotian shouted, lifting his left hand and pointing straight at Ling Leishi.

A razor-thin line of azure light snapped from his fingertip, pierced the boundary of the thunder domain in a blink, and lanced for Ling Leishi's neck.

As a soldier, Ling Leishi's sense for danger was keen. A suffocating premonition of death crashed over him. Bound by his own domain, he couldn't move—he could only wrench his head aside with all his might.

Sssk!

The azure light skimmed across his neck and detonated with vicious force, tearing open a jagged gash that instantly gushed blood.

"Aaahh!"

Staring at the hot red spilling down his chest, Ling Leishi howled in pain and rage. He snapped his gaze to Feng Xiaotian; if looks could kill, Feng would have died a hundred times.

With a bellow, Ling Leishi dismissed the thunder domain and hurled himself at Feng Xiaotian, all else forgotten.

But the instant the domain fell, the well-prepared Aerial Legion closed in from all sides. In a heartbeat, their Zhuge God-Crossbows sang again. Heavy bolts gleamed like cold steel as they screamed toward Ling Leishi.

He ignored them, throwing up his Raging Thunder Armor to tank the assault as he shot straight for Feng Xiaotian. Only one thought remained: kill the brat who had shamed him.

Feng Xiaotian watched him come without panic. He drew a deep breath, pushed his soul power to its limit, and locked his gaze on Ling Leishi.

Seeing Feng stand his ground, Ling Leishi's mouth twisted into a savage grin. "Legs gone weak, boy? Too late! Rampaging Thunder Charge!"

The phantom of the thunder boar surged behind him, its charge making the very air tremble.

"Now, everyone!" Feng Xiaotian roared.

Two or three flyers, already prepared, dove at an even greater speed to intercept. Each clutched a golden bell—a soul tool (or ritual implement) crafted by Lan Minghua: the Shaking-Soul Bell.

Jingle! Jingle! Jingle!

The ringing burst forth, enclosing Ling Leishi in sonic waves. The bell struck at the soul itself; even a Titled Douluo could not shrug off its assault. Just as he was about to smash into Feng Xiaotian, Ling Leishi's eyes went blank. He froze in place.

Feng's azure wings beat once. He didn't retreat—he advanced, shooting straight for Ling Leishi. His long-hidden right hand finally moved.

"Limit of Wind—Falling Kill!"

This strike had been prepared for a long time. This was the moment he'd waited for.

Ling Leishi snapped back to his senses just in time to see death coming, and his face drained of color. He tried to block, but it was too late. Instinct alone raised his forearm to shield his head.

But Feng Xiaotian had anticipated even this. He adjusted his aim—two fingers spearing straight for the neck.

Boom!

In an instant, the neck shattered. Blood fountained as the head spun high into the air. Ling Leishi's eyes were wide, filled with disbelief, locked on Feng Xiaotian to the last. Never had he imagined that he, a dignified Titled Douluo, would die at the hands of a Soul Emperor.

His headless body lost all strength and tumbled from the sky. Thus, a Titled Douluo had fallen.

Feng Xiaotian hovered where he was, gulping for air, his body crisscrossed with wounds. But he couldn't stop the corners of his mouth from curling higher and higher into a triumphant smile.

The flyers swept in around him, their eyes blazing with respect and adoration.

"General Feng! General Feng!" they chanted in unison, their voices echoing in the clouds.

Back at the Tianlong Gang headquarters, Lan Minghua watched the image of Ling Leishi's fall and Feng Xiaotian's victory, a gratified smile spreading across his face.

"This brat… he really didn't let me down."

Oscar stood beside him, stunned speechless.
