Chapter 4 - Any-Crafter

Since leaving the village and after walking through several forests, he had killed dozens of slime monsters. Eating from the trees and drinking from the river, that was how he had been surviving. He had collected a good amount of slime gel.

Currently, he was sitting on a tree, scrolling through the market.

[+100 Credits!]

"What? What's this for? I haven't done anything good just now," Lucien asked himself. He didn't know it, but the credits were given because of the old woman who had thanked him in her mind.

He then checked his stats. "Hmm... my level is now 19, but what's the maximum level?"

The system didn't answer. "No problem if you don't want to reveal," he said calmly. He opened his inventory and took out the map. Marking his position, he muttered, "I'm here, in the Great Forest. And after going straight to my left, I will reach the future main kingdom of human civilization. Currently, it's one of the main kingdoms of the world, not just of human civilization."

He then jumped down from the tree and started walking toward his left. After I reach the kingdom, I need to find a job. I need a source of income. I can't just rely on fruits.

After walking for nearly an hour, he reached the edge of the forest. From there, he could see it — the Kingdom of Valoria. The capital city of Valoria, Elarion, immediately caught his eyes.

"It's so beautiful in this century, but after civilizational expansion, this kingdom and city both became a ruined place." He began walking down the forested mountain, following a narrow path.

He walked for a minute, and now he was standing in front of the giant entrance gate of the Kingdom of Valoria. There was a long line of people from multiple races, all getting checked before entering the kingdom.

Suddenly, he noticed something important, all those people had identity cards with them. He had none. Quietly, he stepped back and opened the system market.

Maybe I could find something here that could help me. He scrolled through the items section, and what caught his eyes was Any-Crafter.

He opened it and read the details. "A tool that can craft anything that we imagine while touching it?" he muttered to himself.

"Isn't it too much? I can even craft the Sword of Storm," Lucien said in a plain tone.

[It can only create things that are in its power]

The system answered. Lucien checked the rank of the tool, it was Three-Star Rare. Oh, so it means I can only craft something that is lower than Three-Star Rare. He nodded in understanding, then clicked on the [Buy] button.

[Congratulations!]

[Title Acquired: Divine Crafter!]

But he didn't mind any of it. He quietly stepped back into the line and stood there, observing from behind. He focused on the identity card of the man currently getting checked.

After memorizing its details, he took out the Any-Crafter, a neon blue little cube with a small square hole at the top, from which crafted items could emerge.

Holding it carefully, he thought of that identity card, but in his imagination, he reimagined the name and details with his own, replacing the picture of that man with his own face.

Then it started emerging from the cube. He opened his eyes and saw a card slowly coming out. As it fully emerged, Lucien checked its details. His face and information were perfectly set, just like an official identity card.

My picture looks original, just like the ones we get from those cameras that take twenty to thirty minutes just to capture a single proper image.

After a while, his turn came. He showed the guards his identity card. They passed it between themselves and checked him from head to toe. But the young man had nothing suspicious on him, and he was granted entry.

He then walked inside. The kingdom, from within, was massive. There were countless buildings and markets spread all around. He could see every kind of race — the market was bustling with them.

Carriages were moving from one side to the other, and surprisingly, this wasn't even the capital city. It was just a corner city of the kingdom.

It's so populated even though it's not the capital city. From what I heard in my past life, people said that the capital city of Valoria was home to the greatest academy in the world. It was once the most royal academy for young prodigies—the Crownspire Academy.

He sighed. But all that was a legend to me in my past life. Now, I might actually be able to see how big that academy really is, and whether it deserves to be called the best.
