Chapter 169 - Chapter 149.2 : The Final Madness!!

"You hopeless, sentimental boy…" Ivankov sneezed violently, tears streaming down his face, the classic exaggerated pirate expression of grief showing on all three of them.

A single gate separating two worlds.

Yujin knelt halfway to the ground, his body swaying, as if a gentle breeze could knock him over.

Exposed skin was crisscrossed with countless wounds, some pits left behind by corrosive venom, flesh torn and turned outward, black and purple in a way that made one's stomach churn.

Other wounds were jagged gashes ripped open by Magellan's attacks, fresh blood gushing out, winding down his arms and legs, pooling beneath him into a dark red puddle.

His hands hung limply at his sides, fingers slightly curled, coated with dirt, blood, and venom.

Only the whites of his eyes remained visible, pain stripping away any ability to think.

Yet his back remained straight, as if guarding the last shred of dignity. Even under such excruciating torment, he refused to bow to tyranny.

Across from Yujin, Magellan was in no better shape.

A feather, imbued with Armament Haki, was lodged deep in his shoulder.

It sank into his muscle, blood slowly seeping from the wound, trickling down his arm and dripping onto the ground.

Magellan winced in pain, suddenly grabbing the feather and yanking it out. As it came free, a fountain of blood erupted from the wound.

His body involuntarily spurted red liquid—not his usual venom, but his own blood.

His face had turned as pale as paper, lips trembling slightly. The severity of his injuries was clear.

In his eyes flickered shock and fury. He couldn't believe that a prisoner who had escaped from the Crimson Hell could wound him so severely.

"MA! GEL! LAN!!!"

Ivankov's furious voice echoed across the battlefield. Magellan, however, wore a look of indifference and once again spat a glob of venom at Yujin.

Seeing this, Ivankov blinked rapidly, sending his deadly flirtatious attacks toward Magellan. For a moment, Magellan was pinned down, unable to lift his head, but he suffered little actual damage.

Inazuma, anxious and desperate, charged toward Yujin. When she finally reached him, she didn't hesitate, carefully lifting his battered body into her arms.

But at that instant, a sharp sting shot through her palms. Magellan's venom had spread along Yujin's body to her hands, rapidly corroding her skin.

Pain surged through Inazuma's entire body, making her tremble uncontrollably. Yet she gritted her teeth, suppressing the agony. With sheer willpower, she forced herself, even as her consciousness began to fade, to take step after painful step toward the gate.

Finally, just before losing consciousness, she succeeded in dragging Yujin beyond the gate.

Her body could hold no longer. She collapsed to the ground, eyes closed, slipping into unconsciousness.

Seeing this, a flash of anger and resolve crossed Magellan's eyes.

Braving Ivankov's attacks, he unleashed the Poisonous Giant once more!

A massive fist, shaped and controlled by him, rapidly formed and barreled toward the gate!

In that split second, Redfield stepped forward to intervene!

The long blade in his hand instantly erupted with a red Haki!

He shouted loudly, "Get this kid out of here! I'll hold back Magellan!"

With that, he slammed his feet into the ground and charged straight at Magellan.

Ivankov's eyes filled with tears.

He knew exactly what was about to happen.

Without hesitation, he gripped this rare chance to escape.

Despite the pain, he grabbed hold of Inazuma and Yujin's ankles, keeping his eyes fixed on the ground.

Adjusting his angle carefully, he shouted, "DEATH WINK!"

His ability activated.

Everyone was dumbfounded as he used the shockwave from a single blink to propel his body forward, launching himself toward the warship!

"Ivankov-sama!" the others yelled, rushing after him.

They ran up the stone stairs Inazuma had prepared earlier, racing onto the warship.

"Hurry! Start the ship!" Ivankov shouted, drenched in sweat, while frantically searching Inazuma and Yujin for something.

But he didn't find what he was looking for.

"No… no antidote left…"

Ivankov's face went pale.

As the poison spread, his body could no longer hold up, and he collapsed.

"Ivankov-sama!"

The crew and allies wept together.

Thankfully, amid the raging artillery fire, the warship successfully started its engines and began to sail.

And just then—

The direction of the advancing city suddenly shook violently, as if the entire island itself were trembling!

Behind Magellan, the already terrifying massive red poison skeleton seemed to break free from all restraints, growing crazily until it reached over ten meters tall in an instant!

Its colossal body moved slowly across the ruins of the city, each step shaking the ground, and it climbed rapidly toward the harbor!

The horrifying poison giant advanced while shouting repeatedly, "Judgment! Judgment!"

The voice was like a roar from hell, making ears ring painfully.

The prisoners on the ship turned pale at the sight.

Some were so terrified that they even lost control of themselves.

Shaken back to reality by their comrades' frantic shouting, the prisoners picked up their weapons and attacked the approaching poison giant.

Gunfire erupted instantly, flashes of fire shooting toward the monster.

But the attacks merely splashed harmlessly against its toxic body, failing to cause any real damage.

Meanwhile, the warship pushed forward at full speed, trying desperately to escape the pursuing poison giant.

The ship's propellers churned the water furiously, sending up massive splashes.

The warship surged forward across the sea, steadily increasing the distance between itself and the Poison Titan.

"Judgment!"

Venom shot across the surface of the water, eating away at the hull, yet it could not stop the warship from moving farther from the port.

Finally, after a heart-stopping chase, the Poison Titan swung its massive arms over the water a few times—but it could no longer reach the ship.

At that moment, the prisoners heaved a collective sigh of relief.

One by one, they collapsed onto the deck, greedily gulping down the air of the outside world.

"We… we made it out!"

"Finally… finally, we're free!"

Tears of joy streamed down their faces as they clutched their heads and wept uncontrollably.

At the gates of Impel Down, Magellan suppressed his anger, watching the warship retreat into the distance.

His gaze fell on Redfield, whose body was being corroded by venom on the ground.

He reached down and pulled him up.

Step by step, he walked toward the bottomless abyss.
