Chapter 159 - Chapter 144.1 : Yujin vs Magellan (1)!!

The prison break that began in Redfield's cell quickly spread through all of Impel Down.

On Level Six — Eternal Hell — Inazuma used the power of the Scissor-Scissor Fruit to wildly release legendary pirates whose very existence had been wiped from history.

On Level Five — the Freezing Hell — Emporio Ivankov gathered a luxurious escape team made up entirely of pirates with bounties over one hundred million.

But the operations on the fourth level were the true core of this entire breakout.

High above the scorching heat, the pirate Yujin, bearing his ghoul-like wings, flew at extreme speed.

The moment he confirmed the plan to escape, he dropped all pretenses and pushed his flight ability to its limit, going from the Freezing Hell to the Blazing Hell fast enough to earn a "fastest in history" title.

When Yujin reached the massive boiler room of the Blazing Hell, the melted snow on his body had only just finished evaporating.

And the guards had only just realized that a mass breakout was happening, causing them to rush toward Eternal Hell in a panic.

"HEY!!!"

Yujin's roar drew every guard's attention toward him.

Before they could react, the Water-Style mask on his shoulder, Earth Grudge Fear, fired a water cannon that exploded in the middle of the crowd!

Inside the cool, quiet office restroom, a series of rapid, crackling farts echoed eerily.

Ordinary people's gas would never sound this terrifying.

But this was Magellan — the Poison Man — letting one rip.

The purple toxic fumes poured out from the crack beneath the door like zombies starved of living flesh, desperately squeezing toward the two guards stationed outside, determined to make them "taste" it.

Both guards covered their noses and stumbled back in fear.

In this whole prison, no job was more dangerous than being Magellan's assistant.

One careless breath of his poison could leave you unconscious on the floor.

"Why is the Chief's bathroom time extra long today? What did he eat?"

"Shh! Keep your voice down. I heard he got hurt fighting with Shiryu of the Rain a few days ago. So he's been eating a lot lately. Eat more… you know… you also 'let out' more."

"Oh… that makes sense."

While the two whispered to each other, they completely failed to notice a shadow slipping past the Chief Warden's office.

A sharp crack! rang out as glass shattered.

The two guards exchanged a confused look.

"Go check it out?"

They stepped together to the Warden's office and rose onto their toes to peek inside.

What they saw made their hearts sink instantly.

The antidotes lining the wall — every precious vial — were being stuffed greedily into the pockets of a young man!

Judging by his expression, he had no intention of leaving until he had taken all of them.

"You—you! Who are you!? What do you think you're doing!?"

The jailer's voice echoed behind Yujin, but he didn't even bother to acknowledge it.

There were only five antidotes left!

By the time the two jailers recovered and rushed into the room, Yujin had already stuffed the last five antidote vials into his backpack.

The two jailers bared their teeth in fury, gripping their thick wooden batons tightly as they swung them toward the back of Yujin's head with enough force to split stone!

But just as the batons were about to touch him, a sharp crimson glint flashed across Yujin's Sharingan—three tomoe spinning like blood-red blades.

In the same instant, his body reacted with lightning reflexes.

He shifted sideways in a swift, fluid motion, effortlessly dodging both howling batons.

Without pause, his right leg lifted high, muscles tightening, and he brought it down like a falling battle-axe toward one jailer's shoulder!

The kick moved so fast it was nearly invisible.

A heavy "thud" exploded through the room, and the jailer dropped to both knees, slamming into the floor as the force crushed any hope he had of standing upright.

Before the other jailer could even snap out of his shock, Yujin attacked again.

His right fist clenched, slicing through the air with a sharp whoosh as he drove it straight toward the jailer's face!

The jailer's eyes widened in terror, but he had no time to dodge.

A sickening crack sounded as his bone snapped.

A massive welt instantly swelled across his face, and the impact sent his entire body flying backward!

With the power of the Cursed Seal, Ghoul bloodline and Gene Lock reinforcing him, Yujin's physical combat ability had skyrocketed, reaching the level of an elite jōnin despite not being a taijutsu specialist.

He was no longer who he once was.

"Pfft~"

"Splash—"

The sound of a toilet flushing echoed through the room, but Yujin simply stepped over the groaning jailers on the floor.

He had no intention of running.

He quietly waited.

Magellan, as careless as ever, stepped out of the restroom.

He scrubbed his hands several times with disinfectant, tore through half a pack of tissues to dry them, put on a fresh pair of gloves, then casually picked his nose as he walked out—completely satisfied.

"Hello."

At the doorway, Yujin greeted Magellan first.

The poison warden froze for a moment before realizing that his subordinates were sprawled on the ground.

"You! You're that guy who tried to break out last time!"

"That's right. It's me."

Magellan's gaze dropped to the antidotes stuffed all over Yujin's body, and his anger erupted immediately!

He could tell—this brat was clearly targeting him!

At that moment, Impel Down's alarms suddenly blared throughout the facility!

From the radio on Magellan's waist came an urgent voice:

"Eternal Hell prisoner escape! Requesting backup! Requesting—"

Soon after, everything fell silent.

Magellan clenched his fists tightly and glared at Yujin.

"First I'll poison you until you can't move… then I'll deal with those guys on the sixth floor!"

"Hoo—"

Pirate Yujin took a deep breath as his tail wrapped around a syringe, stabbing it fiercely into his own body.

"Then let me see for myself… what it means to be the poison man who stands on par with an Admiral—Magellan!"

Magellan's eyes burned with fury, and he didn't waste a single word.

He opened his mouth and spat out a sphere of venom.

"Poison Pufferfish!"

A barrage of foul-smelling poisonous spheres shot toward Yujin like cannon shells.

Wherever they passed, the air itself sizzled and corroded, filling the entire corridor with a nauseating stench.

Despite facing venom that meant instant death upon contact, Yujin remained completely calm.

Through the perspective of his three-tomoe Sharingan, the venom spheres that looked impossibly fast to others seemed to move in slow motion.

Their trajectories and speed were captured in perfect clarity.

With the support of his Observation Haki, Yujin's perception sharpened dramatically.

Countless possible escape routes instantly formed in his mind, allowing him to avoid the overwhelming rain of poison.

Yujin bent his knees slightly; his body tightened like a drawn bow.

In the next moment, the ground beneath his feet burst as he vanished like a streak of black lightning!

Using the high-speed movement technique "Shave," Yujin weaved through the gaps between the venom spheres.

Every movement was flawlessly precise, dodging deadly poison by mere inches.

The venom balls slammed into the walls and floor around them with heavy, muffled explosions.

Poison splattered everywhere.

Stone melted instantly into foul-smelling puddles.

Metal railings eroded into perforated scraps, on the verge of collapsing.

Yet Yujin emerged unscathed near Magellan, his silhouette flickering like a ghost—unpredictable and impossible to track.

Seeing Yujin evade the Poison Pufferfish, Magellan's fury surged even hotter.

He decided to stop holding back.
