I'm overthinking things.Maya probably just got too lazy to model a brand-new house plan for her game—yeah, that's it. Typical her.
I resumed the game, digging into the delicious nasi lemak Mama made, paired with a tall glass of iced coffee. Life was good. Chill. I was starting to enjoy myself again.
But then, the game got harder. Out of nowhere, this one quest had my brain absolutely fried.
—Feed your beloved cat, Mimi.
Sounds easy, right?
Yeah, no.
I couldn't even find this damn cat. I wandered every room—twice. Checked under the table, behind the sofa, even inside the weirdly accurate laundry room.
By the time I finished eating, Mimi was still missing in action.
Just where was this cat hiding?
Frustrated, I finally gave in. The game provided you with three clues per quest—little hints to nudge the player along. I didn't like using them. Felt like cheating. But at this point? I had no choice.
With a heavy heart, I clicked on the glowing bulb icon.
