Role and Functions
The Paddaans are considered the most powerful diambars, an elite force acting as both a spearhead and a shield for the country. They are bound by the oath of the ndaananes (see random lore), an ancient vow from olden times. They are appointed based on merit, by decision of general officers, and with the approval of the General Staff.
Personnel and Ranks
The Paddaans are organized according to the Circle of 10, the 10 most powerful diambars in the country. Each of these 10 Paddaans is equivalent in rank to a colonel or brigade general, though their functions differ. They command a special unit of 100 elite diambars.
Base Personnel: Estimated at 1,010 Paddaans.
