Chapter 30 - 30

Outside the textile factory!

The New York Police Department looked at the dilapidated textile factory in front of them, which looked like it had experienced a small-scale war. They all took out their weapons and were ready for battle.

"George!"

Inspector Kate Beckett arrived at the scene almost three minutes after George. After getting out of the car, she hunched over, wearing a bulletproof vest, and ran to George's side: "How is it?"

George pointed to the car still burning in front of the textile factory.

Accompanied by the occasional sound like firecrackers exploding, the license plate was looming, and the four letters were clearly visible.

This should be the real Audi R8.

Obviously.

It's scrapped again.

George felt a little amused, but at the same time, a little worried, because his daughter had also ridden in Locke's Audi R8.

At the rate Locke's car is being scrapped, there's no guarantee that one day, when his daughter is in the car, it might suddenly become scrapped again.

...etc!

George shook his head and shook the image out of his mind.

No.

Locke just looked unlucky.

Just then.

Accompanied by the distinctive sound of alarm bells, the New York Police Department's SWAT team arrived at the scene in an armored vehicle.

"Prepare!"

Seeing this, George said to the police officers who were rushing over from all directions, "The criminals we are dealing with are very dangerous. Be careful!"

"clear!"

"receive!"

"attack!"

Two teams of special forces, armed to the teeth, with a total of sixteen members in the front, were the first to rush towards the textile factory under the cover of a row of bulletproof shields.

but...

When everyone entered the textile factory, the scene they saw completely shocked them.

At this moment, the textile factory was not sparsely populated, but it was also filled with corpses and blood.

"vomit!"

"vomit!"

They must have been some inexperienced police officers who, seeing the blood all over the ground that was almost turning into a stream, couldn't help but dry heave a few times.

All the police officers were extremely nervous.

But strangely, the textile factory seemed very quiet.

"Special forces, charge head-on!"

"clear!"

"Kate, you lead a team of police officers to the left, and I'll lead the people to the right!"

"good."

George made a gesture to the people behind him, and then slowly advanced to the right.

But whether it was George, Kate, or the special forces, all they encountered was nothing but corpses all over the ground.

After the three groups reunited, their eyes were all directed to a warehouse-like building in front of them.

After entering.

It is the textile workshop used by the textile factory to conceal its true identity.

But at this moment the textile workshop was in a mess, but the same thing happened: there were countless corpses here, and there were only a few good textile machines left.

"Oh my god."

Seeing this, Kate finally couldn't help but ask, "Did the Sin Hunter do this alone?"

How is this possible?

There is really no logic at all. No matter how strong a person is, he may be able to face ten people without being at a disadvantage, but the number of corpses here is not just ten.

George said in a deep voice, "There's no evidence that the Crime Hunters have a team, or that they enjoy working in a team."

During the two years that Crime Hunter was active in Texas, he always acted alone.

If there are accomplices, they also use money to lure the homeless people to help.

Just like this time.

It is precisely because the Crime Hunter likes to act alone and never joins a group,

Therefore, up to now, the information about Crime Hunter is basically obtained based on the psychological profile of the FBI.

That is, he is about 25 to 35 years old, lives alone, and may have his parents' house. He has been a loner since childhood and has few friends. Because of this, no one notices him.

George initially used this information to portray the character and appearance of his crime hunter in his mind.

but...

After George dealt with the Crime Hunter, he subconsciously discovered that part of this psychological profile was wrong.

At least a little wrong.

The sin hunter he had seen with his own eyes was not a loner at all.

Just then.

With a bang!

The police officers walking in the textile workshop raised their guns and looked towards the third floor where there was a sudden noise.

George exchanged glances with Kate and the SWAT team leader.

Boom boom boom!

The special forces members, wearing explosion-proof shields, rushed directly into the room of the Destiny Loom.

Next second.

The muzzles of the guns were all pointed at Locke, who was handcuffed to a water pipe not far away, with his feet tied and even his mouth stuffed with a cloth.

The noise just now was caused by Locke hitting the water pipe with his head.

"Locke?"

George, who came in with the special forces, saw Locke over there and his eyes lit up. He shouted and signaled others to quickly explore the large room. Then he and Kate ran to Locke's side.

"ah!"

After George removed the cloth strips from Locke, he gasped for breath.

"Bear with it."

Kate looked at Locke, said something, and then pointed the gun directly at the handcuffs: "Bang!"

Locke couldn't help but move when he heard the gunshot.

"Safety!"

"Safety!"

"Safety!"

After searching, the special forces team sent repeated messages saying that they were safe and there were no enemies.

Obviously.

I'm afraid they are too late.

The sin-hunter has escaped.

Locke also gave an assist at this time: "Why did you come just now? That guy left about ten minutes ago."

George's face looked a little grim.

Fuck.

Got fooled.

Just then.

When Kate was helping Locke to stand up, she saw a booklet and a phone fall from Locke's arms.

Just then.

"Ding-ling-ling!"

The phone that fell to the ground rang.

George and Kate looked at each other.

Locke said, "When that guy left just now, he stuffed this booklet and phone into my arms. I thought it was a time bomb and didn't dare to move."

George bent down and picked up the phone.

Kate said solemnly beside him, "Don't answer it."

What if it's a bomb controlled by a telephone, the kind that explodes the moment someone answers it? That would be the end of us.

but...

George answered the phone directly.

The police officer next to him couldn't help but startled, but when he saw that there was no explosion or flame around, he breathed a sigh of relief.

George's phone was on speakerphone.

A voice similar to a synthesized voice came out, and laughed twice: "I thought you didn't dare to answer the phone."

George and Kate made a gesture, indicating that they should contact the headquarters immediately and track the telephone signal made from here.

but...

The synthesized voice on the other end said, "There are too many sinners this time, and there are not enough cards. However, this booklet can explain everything. Remember, I never kill innocent people." Then it hung up.
