Chapter 3: Migrating the Tribe, a Great Demon Blocks the Way — The Boar Chief!

The moment this thought occurred to Xuantian, his spirit trembled.

That's right.

Blessed lands are innately restricted, concealing the secrets of heaven. Not even Saints of the Heavenly Dao can easily perceive them. Moreover, they are rich with spiritual energy.

Relocating the tribe there would not only shield them from demonic calamities and natural disasters but also offer a place where they could thrive and multiply — a perfect sanctuary.

Most importantly, he now possessed the combined power of the entire human tribe. As long as humanity continued to grow and flourish, the benefits he would gain from the system would only become more astonishing.

In the future, even if a catastrophe struck, humanity would still retain a measure of self-preservation and adaptability.

The more Xuantian considered it, the more feasible the idea seemed. After all, the ultimate direction of the Demon-Witch Tribulation was for both the Witch and Demons to retreat from the stage of history.

As the saying goes, while great trends cannot be changed, small trends can be reversed. Humanity's temporary retreat to the prehistoric stage was but a minor trend — naturally reversible.

"Refine this Gengjin Star Halberd first!"

Suppressing his thoughts, Xuantian reminded himself of priorities. The human tribe was still some distance from the valley that held the blessed land. Unavoidable risks might emerge.

He needed to refine the spiritual treasure, bolster his strength, and only then lead the migration.

Soon, his spiritual energy surged into the Gengjin Star Halberd, revealing a surprise:

It held eleven innate restrictions.

Typical low-grade innate spiritual treasures contain between one and twelve restrictions. This meant that the halberd was top-tier among its grade!

Unknowingly, a hundred years passed in the blink of an eye.

"Whoosh!"

One day, Xuantian slowly opened his eyes. A brilliant gleam faded from them.

Above him, the Gengjin Star Halberd radiated a terrifying aura, as if it could cleave even the solid void of the prehistoric world. Faint phantoms of ancient stars hovered and danced above the blade.

By now, Xuantian had refined eight of its innate restrictions, allowing him to unleash the full power of this treasure.

"It's time to leave."

Xuantian stood slowly, calculating the time. The blessing left by the Nuwa Sage had nearly dissipated.

Now was the moment to begin the migration of the human tribe.

Without hesitation, he stepped beyond the cave's protective restriction.

 Buzz—

In a valley, a tall figure emerged from thin air.

Naturally, it was Xuantian.

The valley lay close to the human tribe's settlement. He returned quickly and gathered the entire tribe.

"While I was traveling, I discovered a blessed cave paradise. I intend to move the tribe there to avoid natural and demonic disasters."

He declared this plainly to the gathered crowd.

"Chief, we'll follow your will!"

"A blessed land that can shelter us from calamities? That's a gift from Heaven!"

"All at the command of the clan leader!"

The newborn humans, simple and honest in nature, voiced no objection. Xuantian was not only their leader but the reason for their survival and growth.

Moreover, while he was away, the saint's lingering blessing had begun to fade. Bold demons had started circling the tribe. Several humans had already been abducted and eaten while gathering food.

This was a looming shadow over the race.

Thus, the discovery of a heaven-blessed sanctuary was too great a hope to refuse.

"Good. Waste no time — pack up and depart at once!" Xuantian ordered.

The human tribe had no possessions — only foraged food and survival instinct. Soon, tens of thousands of humans followed Xuantian as he led them toward the valley paradise.

However—

Just as they stepped beyond the saint's former protective domain, a fishy wind howled.

A terrifying presence emerged — a figure like a mountain, with the oppressive aura of a cultivator at the Perfected Profound Immortal Realm.

It blocked their path.

It was a two-legged pig demon, leader of the Boar Clan, neighbors of the human tribe. This beast was intelligent and cunning — it had long set its sights on the human race.

Not long ago, it had devoured several humans, discovering that human flesh, blood, and spirit were potent spiritual tonics.

Now, sensing the saint's aura fade and the tribe migrating in mass, it could no longer suppress its hunger.

Its eyes glowed with malice.

"Offer half the human race or today will be your extinction!"

The Boar Chief's chilling threat echoed.

Its gaze locked onto Xuantian, drool dripping from its tusked maw.

It had once tasted a single Acquired human, and it was unforgettable.

But this Profound Immortal-level human — devouring him could be equivalent to tens of thousands! It might even allow the Boar Chief to break through to the Golden Immortal Realm.

"Swallow the heavens and earth!"

Driven by greed, the Boar Chief launched its Innate magical power — a devouring force that could consume even mountains.

The suction enveloped Xuantian instantly.

 The crowd gasped.

Even their Profound Immortal Realm leader was being pulled into the demon's mouth. If he failed, they would all become prey.

Whoosh!

Xuantian's body hurtled toward the demon's mouth — seemingly unable to resist.

The Boar Chief grinned savagely.

The demon race, rivals of the Witch race, were born with magic. Their technique, "Swallow Heaven and Earth", was terrifying. Entire mountain ranges could vanish into their bellies and be refined instantly.

To the Boar Chief, Xuantian was just a weak human.

The thousands of boars behind him were also restless, licking their lips. The Innate humans were the chieftain's prey — but the Acquired ones? A feast for the tribe.

Closer...

Closer...!

The human tribe stood frozen in despair.

The Boar Chief was about to consume their patriarch!

 But then—

Hum!

Suddenly, an ancient halberd erupted from Xuantian's body. As spiritual energy surged, an incomparably sharp Gengjin edge burst forth.

Brilliant white light illuminated the heavens.

The sky dimmed.

Phantoms of ancient stars descended, drawn to the halberd. The weapon spun, slashing down as if it could cleave the stars themselves!

"What!? An innate spiritual treasure!?"
