Chapter 2 - Volume 1 Journey Chapter 2 Encounter

The five children had intended to prepare for two more days, but as soon as their luggage was ready, they were urged to set off. The old village chief drove the children to town in the only carriage, which was supposed to buy the villagers' daily necessities, so it didn't seem too crowded for the five children, who were almost adults, to squeeze in at once.

The last person the children got to know could only see them off here. The rest of the journey would have to be done on their own feet. From this bustling town to the even more prosperous Tian Du Rosemary, they had to pass through six towns, which would take about 12 to 14 days.

Pasas, the town where they are now, is particularly prosperous because it is located on a major north-south thoroughfare, and there are so many guilds, taverns and inns that it is overwhelming. The coming and going of horses and vehicles almost scattered the children who had just arrived in the unfamiliar environment.

"This girl stole my wallet!" An unexpected twist.

"You're lying! I didn't steal your wallet!" Such a familiar voice, Amelia!

People quickly put the two quarrelling people in the middle. A mercenary man captured Emilia, while another mercenary was fiddling with the girl and soon found a small wallet on her.

"That's my wallet! Give me back!" Emilia was so angry that she was on the verge of crying. Her beautiful figure kept twisting, but her hands were twisted in the opposite direction. Her insignificant resistance was instead full of teasing in the eyes of everyone.

"Let go of my sister! Perhaps Osirena's appearance was too sudden, and the two mercenaries failed to catch her, allowing Emilia to break free.

 It's 2 on 2 now.

Just then, the crowd parted, completely spontaneously, and Osirena wasn't naive enough to think that someone would be on her side. She saw Burvigi and Moya in the crowd too, and they had been discussing something, but she didn't dare to rush in and give them a hand.

Osirena had prepared herself for the worst in her heart, but was greatly shocked to see the person.

Ice Wheel. Berudendi was not one of the Four gods or Pisan, and there was no deliberate hostility towards the Ice wheel, because there was no need to disguise his identity, so the ice-blue hair was particularly glaring.

"Excuse me, please make way." With a moistening voice like raindrops, the boy with fiery hair finally pushed his way into the crowd. "Amy, what happened?" There was still confusion on her face, but her gaze was already uncontrollably fixed on the woman with ice-blue hair.

Yes. Ice Wheel, who was made deputy commander by two mercenaries, is a true beauty.

In contrast to the confusion in LAN's eyes, the woman's reaction took everyone by surprise. Her expression suddenly became extremely excited, and her intonation was filled with great emotion. "LAN!" In the amazement of many people, she hugged the red-haired boy tightly.

"Do you know me?" The young man, who was being held so tightly that he could hardly breathe, asked in confusion. He felt that the woman in front of him looked very familiar, but he couldn't tell how that ten was.

"I am the lake, Left Tianhu!" The woman, who called herself Zuo Tian Hu, seemed to be aware of her loss of composure and slightly let go of the boy in her arms.

"Zuo Tian Lake?" " Still confused, but his intuition told him he should know her.

"Don't you remember?" Zuo Tianhu's cold fingertips swept across his forehead, inadvertently touching the scar on his forehead. His fingers trembled slightly, the scar left by "Lihua Feimeng"... "It doesn't matter, I'll help you remember it slowly..."

LAN took a subtle step back, avoiding Zuo Tianhu's finger. "Miss, I think you must have mistaken me for someone else." The inexplicable familiarity made him uneasy. Countless memories burst like blisters, one after another, and he could even hear a voice in his body sighing at the last moment.

Looking at LAN's deliberate distance, Zuo Tianhu suddenly laughed, "Since you insist we don't know each other, it's probably really that I mistook someone... But..." Glancing at the two girls behind LAN, "but Rosemary is really fun. I plan to stay there for three or five years. There will always be a chance to meet her."

Looking at LAN's silent appearance, Zuo Tianhu laughed very happily, turned gracefully, looked at the two mercenaries beside him with a meaningful meaning, and walked out of the crowd, "If you are on the way, you can come with us. There are carriages to do and free escort, hehe..." The original voice drifted over to her with a hint of playfulness.

"LAN, are you okay?" Osirena hurriedly pulled the boy over, fearing that he might be hurt in the slightest.

"It's okay, but what happened to you before?" LAN frowned slightly, his memory was particularly jumbled at the moment, and even his words seemed absent-minded.

"I'm sorry, miss. Your wallet is back to you. I apologize to you very much for the offense just now, because my friend lost his wallet in the moment we passed each other, and your wallets are so similar, even about the same weight. I really offended you before, ah-ha, express our apologies again. Goodbye, miss!"

Both Osirena and Emilia could not adapt to the 180-degree turn of the mercenary's attitude, which was even somewhat hideous before, and could only mechanically take the wallet and politely reply, "It doesn't matter."

Bulvigi had already pulled Moya around him, and he had intended to say something after the fact to show off his power, but seeing the fierce expressions of the two mercenaries as they turned around, which were enough to scare a child to tears, he was scared to his stomach.

"These mercenaries are terrifying!" "But that woman is pretty," Moya said in a low voice, fearing that if he spoke loudly, the mercenaries who had not yet gone far would hear him.

"Yeah, as good as Amy, I don't know..." Burvigi shook his head and tried to throw out the words "How does it feel?" Logically speaking, a young man from a simple fishing village shouldn't have such bold thoughts, just like Moya, who blushed like a persimmon when he said "as good as Amy".

He also realized his inappropriate words and lowered his head involuntarily, only daring to glance at a few friends one by one with the corner of his eye. When he met LAN's clearer gaze, his tall figure suddenly shook, suddenly scratched his disheveled hair, and laughed awkwardly, "hehe."

"Let's find a place to stay first and then agree on the route. Let's set off tomorrow morning." "The crowd had already dispersed, but they were the only ones who had not yet come to their senses and had no idea what to do next," LAN suggested.

Osirena looked at the red-haired boy with some confusion. Her intuition told her that LAN had changed, changed after meeting the woman called Zuo Tianhu, but she couldn't tell exactly what had changed.

"Change is always imperceptible, isn't it?" A woman's soft voice suddenly wafted past my ears.

Osirena suddenly raised her head and met the red-haired boy's gaze, a sharp one. However, that gaze seemed to fall on her shoulder...

While Osirena was hesitating, LAN came to her side, perhaps because of Bulveji's bold words earlier, when the tall LAN approached her, she blushed involuntarily.

LAN's pretty fingers stroked his shoulder, "A fallen leaf."

"Oh." Osirena replied unnaturally, and if someone asked her to repeat what she had just heard, she would surely tell you with the most innocent and bewildered look that she didn't hear at all.

In fact, whether it was Osirena, Amelia or Burvigi and Moya, they were all in a state of mental confusion, and naturally no one would bother with the word "fallen leaf", after all, it was early spring and most of the trees were so bare that not a single leaf could be found...

"It seems we'll go together with the mercenary group." Though reluctant, it was Ran's usual style to face what couldn't be avoided.

"So soon you've decided to go with me? !" Before the children could react, they felt a gust of wind before them, and the woman with ice-blue hair appeared before them once again.

Osirena looked up and stared at the woman in front of her. She was certain that the whisper in her ear just now was this voice, but she didn't see anyone!

Left Tianhu had already boldly pulled LAN's arm and leaned back.

"The spirit lingers." LAN made the comment with a vengeance, knowing that the woman by his side would never give up until all that he had done over the years was accounted for.

"I am..." Just as Osirena was about to object, she found that everyone else seemed to have been bribed except herself.

"This sister must have been wronged just now. My subordinates are all rough men. Let them apologize to you properly later. It's up to you to beat or scold. Sister will decide for you." Emilia was filled with grievance when she was mentioned about what had just happened and immediately accepted Zuo Tianhu's invitation.

Not to mention Burvigi and Moya, but as Left Tianhu twisted his waist, his soul was drawn away, and he didn't come to his senses until he was slapped on the forehead by Osirena. Moya was fine, except for staring blankly, without any loss of control, while Burvigi's saliva had already trickled down his chin.

"Ah oh --!" Burvigi turned his face away awkwardly and wiped his saliva clean.

"Hehe..." Zuo Tianhu's mischievous smile was restrained in the red-haired boy's slightly irritated gaze. "Come to me first. Anyway, judging from your appearance, you've never seen anything in the market. Judging from your age, you're so flustered to show up in Pasas. You must be going to the Science Academy, right?"

"They are, and I am not." LAN answered her question concisely. He was not a silent man by nature, but now he was dissatisfied with Zuo Tianhu's constant seduction of his companions.

"Huh?" " Though she knew what the young man was angry about, Zuo Tianhu had no intention of holding back, but the answer was unexpected. She had originally planned that if LAN entered the Science and Technology Academy, she would at least get a student status, though she was several hundred years old, but with her youthful appearance and the existing power network, It would be a piece of cake to forge an identity.

"LAN won't go to the college with us, nor will she stay in Rosemary for three or five years!" Osirena chimed in with a hint of schadenfreude, and as the only one overlooked, she could only make a few small verbal counterattacks.

This "three or five years" was clearly directed at what Left Tianhu said when they first met.

"It doesn't matter. I'll follow LAN wherever she goes." Zuo Tianhu said in a light-hearted tone, "Anyway, this deputy regimental commander is also a nominal position. As long as I want, let alone a small mercenary group, even an army, it won't be a problem to get 100,000 or 80,000."

Osirena was speechless at once. She, born a villager, and Zuo Tianhu, born a saintess of the ice lake, were not on the same level of match at all. Just in the first round of verbal battles, they had already been completely suppressed.

"Don't bully Rena." If LAN hadn't stopped her, Osirena would probably have really burst into tears in anger.

"Well, let this little girl go for now." "Zuo Tianhu said in a good mood, thinking how could she be in a bad mood? I thought my brother was dead, but he was standing right in front of her again, alive. How long did she cry when she learned that Huang Yuelan was killed?

But Huang Yueqing didn't shed a single tear because she held an unwavering belief that Huang Yuelan must still be alive.

Thinking of the night when she was crying her eyes out, Zuo Tianhu suddenly felt annoyed. This damned little fellow had caused her to shed so many tears in vain. She must take good revenge!

Looking at the expression on Zuo Tianhu's face, which was sometimes delighted and sometimes worried, the young man couldn't help reaching out and pinching her cheek. "What evil thoughts are you thinking?"

Even though her memory was incomplete, her body's reaction was extremely skillful, and her words were faster than her thoughts.

Left Tianhu looked at the young man beside him in surprise, and of course he took in the confusion in his eyes. He should be able to recall something. At this point, he tightened his arm a little.

Family, power, status, friends, relatives... Countless memories swirled in the young man's mind, scenes of the past, and his repeated telling of his name - Huang Yuelan.

The last scene of the jumbled memory falling on the cliff, the flying petals in the air, the blood-stained eyes, and the silver-blue man whom he called his elder brother, all the memory quieted, faded, and then sank piece by piece into the heart.

The final image was of him alone - LAN, not Huang Yue LAN.
