"What the hell is this?"
Luffy was completely dumbfounded as he stared at the steel walls that had suddenly risen around them.
"Is this what the Marines were talking about earlier?" Ivankov frowned. "They plan to trap us with this?"
Now, except for the gap at the harbor, all other directions were completely surrounded by this thing.
This was definitely not good news for them.
Jimbei glanced at the Pacifistas blocking the gap and said, "They probably intend to use those things to eliminate us."
"That's possible."
After speaking, Ivankov turned to look at the encirclement wall blocking their path, falling into deep thought.
'Although Kuma's clone weapons are incredibly powerful, it's clearly impossible for them to eliminate all of us,' Ivankov thought to himself. 'That means the Marines must have some backup plan.'
What could it be?
"Bastards, what do these Marines mean?!" members of the Whitebeard Pirates shouted at the encirclement wall. "Are they planning to hide like turtles in their shells?!"
"Quick, break this thing!"
"Right!"
Some pirates charged forward with their weapons, striking fiercely at the encirclement wall.
"BOOM!!"
"BAM!!"
"CLANG!"
Numerous weapons slammed against the encirclement wall, but they couldn't even make a dent in the massive structure.
"Hey hey hey, you've got to be kidding me?!"
The pirates were stunned to see that the encirclement wall didn't have a single scratch on it.
With their strength, they should have been able to break through even steel, so why couldn't they damage this thing in front of them? Was this material stronger than steel?
"Is this the Marines' strategy?" Vista frowned as he stared at the encirclement wall.
With this thing in place, it wouldn't be easy for them to charge through quickly.
"Ara ara, so the encirclement wall has risen already."
After glancing at Little Oars lying in front of the encirclement wall, Aokiji immediately used Moonwalk to fly up, quickly heading toward the plaza.
'Fortunately this guy didn't fall on the encirclement wall, or he would have given the Whitebeard Pirates a landing point,' Aokiji thought to himself.
After one last glance at Meiser who was watching him, Aokiji disappeared into the air.
Meiser calmly watched Aokiji leave without giving chase.
Then he looked at the surrounding encirclement walls and said, "Is this the operation plan the Marines were talking about?"
Glancing at the protruding cannon barrels, Meiser began forming some theories in his mind.
Just then, a yellow light flashed past above Meiser, rapidly heading toward the Marine Headquarters plaza.
"Kizaru, huh."
Meiser narrowed his eyes as he watched Borsalino quickly depart. "It seems he's given up."
Then Meiser turned his attention back to Bartholomew Kuma, new thoughts forming in his mind.
"What a terrifying ninja."
Back on the plaza, Borsalino spoke in an exaggerated tone. "To be able to create such water spheres."
Hearing Borsalino's words, Aokiji instinctively glanced at him with a thoughtful expression.
"You may begin, Sakazuki!" Sengoku declared.
Upon receiving the order, Sakazuki nodded and moved to the forefront of the plaza.
After looking up at the massive Encirclement Wall before him, Akainu roared, "Meteor Volcano!"
"BOOM!!"
"BOOM!!"
"BOOM!!"
Countless Magma Bullets erupted from his hands, shooting rapidly toward the clouds in the sky!
This spectacle was immediately noticed by the pirates on the battlefield.
"Hey, look up there!"
"What is that?"
"Those are Akainu's Magma Bullets! He's firing them into the air!"
Hearing the pirates' shouts, Luffy frowned in confusion. "Why is he shooting magma into the sky?"
If the Marines wanted to attack them, they could simply stand atop the Encirclement Wall and fire downward.
Meanwhile, Ivankov paled as a possibility dawned on him. "Could it be..."
"That must be it," Jimbei said grimly.
In that moment, Jimbei pieced everything together.
First, Aokiji had frozen the ocean to create a platform for movement and combat, luring all the pirates onto it.
Once the timing was right, the Encirclement Wall would trap them completely.
Finally... Akainu's magma ability would melt the ice beneath their feet, leaving them with no ground to stand on!
With their footing gone, the pirates would lose most of their combat effectiveness.
The Marines could then use the Pacifistas and cannons to pick them off, bit by bit.
It was a vicious strategy, but undeniably effective.
"Wait, what are you all talking about?" Luffy asked, bewildered.
"It means we're in serious trouble!" Inazuma exclaimed.
Just then, Hancock approached the rear Encirclement Wall. As she drew near, she lifted her long leg and kicked it forcefully!
"CLANG!"
Staring at the small dent she'd made, Hancock frowned. "It's this hard?"
She had infused her kick with Haki, yet she couldn't shatter the wall... What material was this made of?
"Even she could only make a small dent?" Ivankov muttered, troubled.
This was a warrior who could trade blows with the Navy's hero—and she'd barely left a mark?
"Forget that! Look at the sky!" Luffy shouted, pointing upward. "A meteor shower is falling!"
"That's no meteor shower—it's Akainu's Magma Bullets!"
Meiser, who had returned to the area, gazed at the sky and said, "He probably intends to melt the ice beneath us."
Once they lost their footing, they'd be exposed to the Marines' artillery fire.
As Meiser's words hung in the air, the Magma Bullets began to plummet, crashing directly onto the ice below!
"BOOM!!"
"BOOM!!"
"BOOM!!"
"Ah!"
Some pirates who failed to dodge in time were struck by the terrifying magma and quickly burned to ashes.
"Get out of the way!"
"Don't get hit by the magma bullets!" the pirates shouted.
"Damn it, there are so many magma bullets, how can we dodge them all!"
"Bastards, I don't want to die!"
"Ah!"
Screams and roars echoed across the entire battlefield.
"This is terrifying..." Koby, standing in the plaza, swallowed nervously upon hearing those screams. "Is this Admiral Akainu's power?"
This dreadful force, like a natural disaster, should be able to take out quite a few pirates.
I just wonder if Mr. Luffy will...
"Maybe it won't be long before the pirates are wiped out," Helmeppo said.
"Don't let your guard down!"
A Marine Rear Admiral nearby spoke up: "Even with such techniques, we can't be certain of killing Whitebeard."
"Afterwards... we might still need to clean up the remnants."
"Is that so."
Hearing the Rear Admiral's words, Helmeppo unconsciously swallowed again.
We still have to participate in such a terrifying battle? Helmeppo screamed internally: That's way too dangerous, damn it!
Why can't the Whitebeard Pirates be eliminated in one go!
If that were the case, they wouldn't need to go out and risk their lives in battle.
The Rear Admiral might have noticed Helmeppo's tension and patted his shoulder, saying: "Be prepared."
Then, the man ignored Helmeppo and turned to focus intently on the encirclement wall.
We still have to keep fighting? Koby murmured to himself: But we could die...
Perhaps considering some possibility, Koby's heart trembled.
At that moment, he felt the urge to flee this battlefield.
"Things are progressing fairly smoothly," Sengoku stared at the massive, un-dispersed water sphere in the distance. "Now we'll see how many pirates we can eliminate."
With that Blood-Eyed Ninja who knows Water Release Technique around, Sengoku didn't expect to completely wipe out the Whitebeard Pirates using just the encirclement wall.
For now, he only hoped to kill as many pirates as possible to minimize their own losses.
Thinking this, Sengoku picked up the microphone and ordered: "Fire the cannons, take them out!"
"Ooh!!"
"Boom!!"
"Boom!!"
"Boom!!"
Numerous cannonballs shot from the encirclement wall's cannons, racing toward the distant pirates and blowing them to pieces.
"Ah!"
"Bastards, what should we do?!"
"Damn it, those cannons are hidden behind sturdy walls, we can't break through!"
The pirates, assaulted by countless cannonballs and magma bullets, showed expressions of despair.
They... had no idea how to deal with the current situation.
Seeing this, Sengoku nodded with satisfaction.
Not bad, the current situation matched his expectations fairly well.
Then, he turned his gaze to the water sphere covering the Moby Dick.
"Boom!!"
"Boom!!"
"Boom!!"
One magma bullet after another struck the giant water sphere, producing sizzling sounds and releasing massive amounts of steam!
But due to the water sphere's unique properties, the magma bullets quickly cooled into rock, eventually floating motionless in the seawater.
"It seems we can't force Whitebeard into the seawater," Sengoku frowned.
With that kid's Water Release Technique, neither cannon fire nor magma could possibly hit the Moby Dick.
After a moment of silence, Sengoku picked up the microphone and said, "Borsalino!"
"Hmm?"
Hearing Sengoku's words, Borsalino turned back with a puzzled look, unsure why the other had suddenly called for him.
"Use your Lasers to attack the pirates!"
Borsalino fell silent for a moment upon hearing this, thinking there had been no such order before. But considering the presence of the Blood-Eyed Ninja, he understood.
Indeed, with that kid who could use Water Release Technique around, they might not be able to stop Whitebeard after all.
Then... they could only kill as many of Whitebeard's men as possible!
With that thought, Borsalino's body transformed into yellow light and vanished from the spot.
When he reappeared, he was already high above the Encirclement Wall!
"Oh~"
"How spectacular~"
"It's Kizaru!"
Seeing Kizaru appear in the air, fear instantly filled the pirates' eyes.
"Kizaru, huh."
Watching the man who had appeared in the sky, Meiser frowned and said, "It seems these guys aren't planning to give us any breathing room.
Kizaru + Pacifistas + cannonballs—with this combination, the pirates are bound to suffer heavy casualties!"
Just as Meiser was pondering this, Borsalino moved.
"Yasakani Sacred Jewel!"
"Whoosh~"
"Whoosh"
"Whoosh~"
"Boom!!"
"Boom!!"
"Boom!!"
A barrage of Laser projectiles rained down from the sky, relentlessly striking the pirates below like machine gun fire.
Some unlucky souls who were hit only had time to let out a scream before being eliminated by the Lasers.
"Damn you, Kizaru!"
Watching Borsalino attack without mercy, Vista's veins bulged on his forehead, wishing he could rush over and take that guy out right then.
But he knew he couldn't—because he couldn't fly!
At that moment, several Water Dragons surged from the water's surface, heading straight for Kizaru in the air!
"Get down here!" Meiser shouted.
Seeing the Water Dragons closing in, Borsalino raised an eyebrow, then transformed into yellow light and flashed to another area, dodging Meiser's Water Dragon attack.
After doing so, Borsalino looked at Meiser and said, "Oh~"
"As expected of a ninja, truly... scary~"
In response, Meiser only sneered coldly, ignoring the guy.
Then, Meiser manipulated the Water Dragons to continue pursuing Kizaru, denying him any chance to attack.
Seeing this, Borsalino felt somewhat helpless. If the other kept chasing him like this, he wouldn't be able to take out more pirates.
"Oh well, even if I only kill some pirates, my mission can still be considered accomplished, right?"
With that thought, Kizaru quickly transformed into yellow light and flashed to a more distant location, simultaneously activating Yasakani Sacred Jewel to attack the pirates below.
And so, Kizaru, chased around by Meiser's Water Dragons, intermittently launched attacks downward, successfully eliminating a portion of the pirates.
But thanks to Meiser, the casualty rate was significantly reduced.
"Quick, stop Kizaru! Give the Blood-Eyed Ninja a chance to catch him!"
"I'd like to, but how do we stop him?"
"Those with Haki, shoot him!" Izo yelled.
"Whoa!!"
Some pirates who could use Armament Haki immediately raised their weapons and joined Izo in attacking Borsalino in the sky.
"Whoosh~"
"Whoosh"
"Whoosh"
One bullet after another, infused with Haki, shot toward Kizaru, forcing him to increase his flying speed.
"What a hassle," Borsalino muttered.
Between the bullets and the Water Dragon, it was truly... troublesome. Just then, Borsalino noticed a change on the Moby Dick.
The massive water sphere that had been protecting the Moby Dick all along... was gradually dispersing!
