Bon Clay's expression was complicated as he watched Sadie being hung up and whipped by Meiser.
Who would've thought this perverted woman would one day be on the receiving end of a beating?
But during Bon Clay's moment of distraction, the Koala Jailer Beast seized the opportunity and smashed him with its club.

Like a cannonball, Bon Clay crashed against a distant bridge railing before plummeting toward the Blood Pool and Sea of Fire below.

"Don't worry, I got you!" Luffy shouted.
Extending his rubber arm, he grabbed Bon Clay midair and yanked him back to safety.

Lying on the ground, Bon Clay was visibly shaken. If not for Straw Hat, he'd be dead!
"Stop spacing out - that thing's still alive!" Buggy yelled.
As he spoke, the Koala Jailer Beast closed in on them, raising its spiked club for another strike. Seeing this, both men's pupils contracted as they rolled away to dodge.

"BOOM!!"
Gulping at the crater left by the club strike, Bon Clay muttered, "One more hit like that... and I might be finished."
That single blow had already cracked his bones - another would surely kill him!
"ROAR!"
"Dammit, Rubber..."
Before Luffy could finish, a purple glob flew from the distance, landing right between them.
"What's this?" Luffy wondered.
The next instant, the purple liquid exploded into a thick violet smoke cloud!

Inhaling reflexively, Luffy immediately began sneezing uncontrollably.

"Damn it, what is this crap?" Buggy covered his face, his own sneezes unstoppable after one whiff.
Observing their reactions, Meiser frowned. "Tear gas?"
He hadn't expected the prison to possess such weapons.
His attention then shifted to a massive figure approaching from afar.
"Warden! I'm still here!" cried Sadie, still recovering from Meiser's beating. "Don't drag me into this! ACHOO!"
The Warden's poison was no joke - exposure without antidote meant certain death.
"I see."
Casually tossing Sadie aside, Meiser turned to face Magellan. "So this is the famous Magellan."
"WHOOSH~"
"CRASH!!"
Sadie smashed through a wall upon impact, nearly knocked unconscious. But sheer survival instinct drove her to crawl toward a side corridor.
"Children, run!" she gasped.
The Koala Jailer Beast blinked, then promptly dragged the Rhino Warden Beast away, remembering to collect the Zebra Warden Beast on their way out.
"What a disgrace," Magellan said coldly, staring at Meiser. "To think scum like you managed to invade this far."
"Tell me, how did you get in?"
Magellan knew exactly how heavily guarded Impel Down was. Yet these intruders had slipped in unnoticed—something was clearly amiss!
It made him suspect there might be a traitor among them.
"Hah, I have no interest in telling you," Meiser sneered.
"Won't talk?" Magellan nodded. "No matter. Once I capture you, I have plenty of ways to make you speak."
Every pirate who entered here started off stubborn. But after a round of torture, they'd spill everything they knew.
So he wasn't in a hurry. He'd find out eventually.
"Then come and try."
Glancing at the purple smoke seeping through the gaps beneath him, Meiser grabbed the idiots coughing painfully on the ground and leaped back to a safe area.
Minotaurus, meanwhile, emerged from the purple smoke on his own and stood beside Meiser.
"Minotaurus?"
Magellan frowned at the Jailer Beast. "What the hell are you doing?"
Why wasn't this guy leaving with Sadie? Instead, he was siding with the enemy?
Did he not realize the range of Magellan's attacks?
"Don't bother shouting," Meiser grinned. "He can't hear you."
Hearing this, Magellan's heart sank.
'So he really can hypnotize the Jailer Beasts,' Magellan thought grimly. 'No wonder his bounty is so high.'
He knew how strong Minotaurus was. Yet even a beast like that had fallen under this man's control.
That meant none of the other jailers stood a chance!
With that realization, Magellan dismissed his earlier suspicion.
There was no traitor—just someone under this bastard's control.
"Damn Blood-Eyed Ninja," Magellan growled, his expression icy. "I won't give you the chance to control anyone else."
Meiser merely chuckled, ignoring him.
"You guys alright?" Meiser asked, turning to Luffy and the others.
"Kinda... Achoo!"
"Just can't stop sneezing."
"Achoo!"
Seeing Luffy and the others struggling to even keep their eyes open, Meiser frowned. "What the hell is this?"
"That's my Poison Gas," Magellan declared. "Once exposed, it takes hours to recover!"
As he spoke, thick purple liquid oozed from his body, coating him entirely in violet.
Three massive Poison Dragons rose from his back, their gaze locked onto Meiser.
"Hours, huh?" Meiser mused. "Doesn't seem like much of a threat."
"You think I'll give you hours?!" Magellan roared. "Die, you damned pirates!"
The three colossal Poison Dragons surged forward, their hues darker and deadlier than before.
Watching this, Meiser finally understood.
This is definitely deadly poison!
Without a second thought, Meiser immediately slammed both hands onto the ground.
"Earth Release: Earth Flow Rampart!"
"BOOM!!"
An enormous wall rose from the ground, firmly shielding Meiser and the others behind it.

From the very beginning, Magellan had no intention of quickly taking down Meiser.

Thus, Magellan shifted his focus to Luffy.
As long as the Straw Hat Boy was dealt with, the others would naturally have no reason to continue aiding them in the rescue mission.
After all… they were pirates!

They had to get their hands on an antidote first—otherwise, Luffy would be finished by the enemy's poison.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Magellan's Poison Dragon twisted around and lunged at Meiser, swallowing him whole in one bite.

Bon Clay cried out anxiously, looking at Luffy, who was lying on the ground, his eyes rolling back. "Little Straw Hat looks like he's about to kick the bucket!"
