Kouki left a clone in the village to slack off while he used Kamui to quietly appear outside of Konoha.
After several hours of travel, Kouki arrived at a dock.
Although Kamui was a powerful long-distance teleportation technique, it required that he know the destination.
He had never been to Kirigakure, so he couldn't use Kamui. He would have to take a boat, like everyone else.
After going there once, Kirigakure would become his personal playground.
He could sneak in every day to check in. The thought was quite appealing.
Kouki had originally planned to check in at Sunagakure, but that was less of priority than creating a tailed beast location, so he had to postpone it.
"Hey, mister, need a boat?"
As Kouki stood at the dock, many boatmen approached him, asking enthusiastically.
"Yes, I want to go to the Land of Water, Kirigakure," Kouki replied.
However, upon hearing this, the boatmen shook their heads and quickly dispersed.
"Mister, don't you know that the Land of Water is a closed country? Outsiders can't go there freely."
"Approaching it recklessly is a death wish!"
"The ninjas there don't welcome us!"
One kind-hearted man in a straw hat explained before hurrying away.
Kouki waited for a while, asking many people, but no boatman was willing to take him to the Land of Water.
It is quite amusing.
"Uchiha Kouki?"
A somewhat familiar voice called out. Kouki turned his head and saw two familiar faces.
It was Yahiko and Konan.
Since Kouki had thwarted Obito's plan and essentially saved the Akatsuki, Yahiko and Konan were very grateful to him.
They were excited to see him.
"It really is you! Kouki, are you going to the Land of Water?"
Seeing Kouki's face and confirming his identity, Yahiko and Konan approached him with smiles.
"Yahiko, Konan, it's you!" Kouki said with a smile. He had a good impression of Yahiko and Konan and was happy to associate with such honorable people.
"I want to go to the Land of Water on business, but it seems none of the boatmen here go to the Land of Water!" Kouki shrugged, smiling wryly.
"That's quite a coincidence, Kouki. We're also going to the Land of Water. If you don't mind, you can come with us."
Yahiko offered enthusiastically and sincerely.
"If you're going to the Land of Water, the boatmen will take us?"
"No, these boatmen are all afraid of the ninjas from the Land of Water. They won't take anyone there. However, we have our own people."
Yahiko smiled and waved to a boatman on a small boat on the water. The boatman waved back in response.
"Most of the members of our Akatsuki organization are poor ninjas. Some of their families make a living here, so we have access to a boat."
Konan explained to Kouki.

While secretly rejoicing that he had a way to get to the Land of Water, he also felt a slight headache.
He had thought that no one would recognize him on this trip, so he had only changed his clothes and put on sunglasses, without using Transformation Technique.
But he hadn't expected to run into familiar faces.
And they were two people who were absolutely upright and virtuous.
But Kouki was going to do something less than honorable…
However, this was just a minor inconvenience, only causing Kouki a slight headache, nothing more.
At worst, he could find an excuse to leave after arriving in Kirigakure and then use Transformation Technique to become someone else.
"In that case, I'll trouble you."
Kouki accepted Yahiko's offer.
Yahiko and Konan were delighted. They called to the Akatsuki member steering the boat, and the three began their journey towards the Land of Water.
The journey was long, perfect for chatting, and Kouki, Yahiko, and Konan began to talk.
They all had a good impression of each other and were willing to associate, so the atmosphere was pleasant.
