Chapter 63 - NSWR: Chapter 63

Kouki couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. How many shinobi in the entire ninja world possessed a perfect-grade Sage Art?

Even Hashirama Senju, with his exceptional Sage Mode, still displayed markings on his face when entering the mode. And Jiraiya's transformation was even more drastic, altering his facial features.

None of them had achieved a perfect-grade Sage Art!

What exactly constituted a perfect-grade Sage Art?

With a thought, Kouki entered Sage Mode, his body completely unchanged. There were no visible signs of transformation.

"So this is natural energy?

It's just like the spiritual energy in those cultivation novels. No wonder it's called Sage Art,"

Kouki felt the immense power coursing through him, a deep sense of satisfaction washing over him.

The only drawback was that Sage Mode required a balance of natural energy, physical energy, and spiritual energy—one-third each.

If natural energy exceeded one-third, the user would transform into a frog.

The perfect-grade Sage Art Kouki had acquired allowed him to instantly achieve this balance.

However, due to his limited chakra reserves, this perfect Sage Mode couldn't be sustained for long. A few minutes at most. Sage chakra was ultimately based on one's own chakra.

Even so, once in Sage Mode, Kouki's ninjutsu and taijutsu would increase by tens of times, a truly overpowered ability.

"What kind of chakra is this? How do you know Sage Art?!"

A voice, filled with astonishment, interrupted Kouki's thoughts. Fukasaku, Shima, and Gamabunta appeared before him.

Fukasaku, sensing the Sage chakra emanating from Kouki, widened his eyes in disbelief.

How had this intruder mastered Mount Myōboku's Sage Art? They had never taught anyone this technique.

As for Gamabunta, he didn't recognize Kouki, who had used Transformation Jutsu to change his appearance.

If Kouki had used his previous appearance, Gamabunta would have recognized him, prompting Mount Myōboku to contact Jiraiya.

That would have created unnecessary complications, and Kouki preferred to avoid trouble.

Of course, concealing his eyes was necessary. The Uchiha identity was too distinctive; using it to cause trouble would be unwise. It was simply asking for trouble.

"Sir, who are you?" Fukasaku stared intently at Kouki, his voice low and firm.

"Don't worry, I have no ill intentions towards Mount Myōboku. As for who I am… I'm not ready to reveal that yet,"

Kouki shrugged, activating Kamui and disappearing before the toads could respond.

"That was… space-time ninjutsu! That's how he infiltrated Mount Myōboku,"

Fukasaku said, his brow furrowed in concern. There was no way to stop someone who could manipulate space-time.

The toads exchanged glances, unable to do anything but disperse.

After discussing the mysterious intruder, they reached no useful conclusions.

However, unbeknownst to them, a spatial vortex reappeared, and Kouki reappeared behind Gamabunta.

"Who's there?!"

Gamabunta was startled. He felt a tap on his back and quickly jumped aside, turning to look.

He saw a dissipating spatial vortex, and the mysterious figure slowly faded away.

Gamabunta couldn't understand the purpose of this sudden appearance. Was it just to tap him on the back?

He carefully examined his body, finding no injuries.

Unknown to Gamabunta, Kouki had returned to remove the Flying Thunder God seal he had placed on him.

The seal would attract unwanted attention from Mount Myōboku and potentially lead to complications with Konoha. Kouki preferred to avoid unnecessary trouble.

While Gamabunta remained bewildered, Kouki calmly left Mount Myōboku.

"A successful trip,"

Kouki was satisfied with his visit to Mount Myōboku. As he traveled, he pondered his next move.

Since he had obtained a Myōboku Sage Art by checking in at Mount Myōboku, what about Ryūchi Cave or Shikkotsu Forest?

While Mount Myōboku was the primary location shown in Naruto, the three sacred training grounds were of equal standing.

The other two locations should be similar.

Kouki believed this was feasible. He just needed to find Orochimaru and Tsunade and force them to summon Manda and Katsuyu.

Hopefully, Orochimaru hadn't actually been killed by him a year ago!

The Land of Wind.

A boundless expanse of desert stretched as far as the eye could see.

In an inconspicuous location within this vast desert, a figure stood, hands pressed against the ground.

The desert before him began to churn and roil like a turbulent sea, a terrifying spectacle.

Within the churning sands, a golden substance began to coalesce.
