Even after dodging twice, Jiraiya had no confidence he could avoid a third attack.
While reluctant to admit it, Jiraiya had to concede that he couldn't defeat this mysterious opponent alone.
His skills, while considerable, were insufficient against such overwhelming power.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Jiraiya, making his decision, quickly formed hand seals and slammed his hand onto the ground.
A circle of sigils spread outward.
Poof!
A massive figure emerged before Kouki, a colossal toad.
Smoking a pipe, with a short sword at its waist, it was Gamabunta, the Toad Boss, a long-time ally of Konoha, having formed contracts with Jiraiya, Minato Namikaze, and even the future Naruto Uzumaki.
"Those eyes… are you an Uchiha? Jiraiya, what's going on here?" Gamabunta asked, utterly bewildered.
"I'm not entirely sure myself. This enemy appeared out of nowhere. Gamabunta, be wary of his eyes; his dōjutsu are extremely dangerous.
Also, incredibly, he knows Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique, and…"
Jiraiya, standing atop Gamabunta's head, gave instructions with a serious expression.
"Enough chatter!"
Gamabunta grumbled impatiently, then leaped, moving like a small mountain towards Kouki, intending to crush him.
Given Gamabunta's massive size, his speed was limited. Kouki didn't even need Flying Thunder God; he effortlessly evaded Gamabunta using Body Flicker Technique.
During this evasion, Kouki stealthily placed a Flying Thunder God seal on Gamabunta.
"Next, it's time to take down Gamabunta!"
Kouki considered his options. Ordinary techniques wouldn't be effective against such a large and powerful opponent. He needed to unleash his full potential.
It was time to test his Susanoo!
Since obtaining his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Kouki had yet to fully experience its power.
"Brat, are you only going to run?"
Gamabunta, having failed to land a blow, taunted Kouki.
"Heh, if I didn't run, you'd be the one running," Kouki chuckled, his Mangekyo Sharingan spinning.
Vast blue energy began to coalesce around Kouki, quickly forming a colossal blue energy giant before Gamabunta and Jiraiya. The Susanoo had materialized.
Clad in armor and wielding a massive sword, the blue giant dwarfed Gamabunta's seventeen-meter frame.
"Susanoo?! Jiraiya, this Uchiha can use Susanoo! Why didn't you tell me?!"
Gamabunta stared up at the colossal figure, completely dumbfounded.
Boom!
Before Jiraiya could even respond, Kouki, controlling the Susanoo, kicked Gamabunta away with a single, powerful blow, not even needing to use a weapon.
Gamabunta's massive body was sent flying like a sandbag, tumbling across the ground several times before coming to a stop.
"Jiraiya, I'm out of energy. I'm going back. If you can't handle this, go hide in Mount Myōboku. Don't push yourself!"
Gamabunta, sprawled on the ground, addressed Jiraiya. Even the formidable Gamabunta couldn't withstand a casual kick from the Susanoo.
Poof!
After speaking, Gamabunta vanished in a puff of smoke, retreating back to Mount Myōboku, his pride wounded.
Kouki's plan was now half-complete. He just needed to use Kotoamatsukami to alter Jiraiya's memories before heading to Mount Myōboku.
The Susanoo was unnecessary against Jiraiya. Kouki released the Susanoo, returning to his normal form.
"With your strength, if you wanted to kill me, I wouldn't have lasted this long, would I?"
Jiraiya, no fool, was even more convinced of Kouki's overwhelming power after witnessing the Susanoo's effortless defeat of Gamabunta.
"Knowing that, why not just surrender?" Kouki raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his tone.
"Haha, that's not possible. I'm a Sannin; I have pride!" Jiraiya flatly rejected Kouki's "kind" suggestion.
Kouki wasted no time, charging at Jiraiya with a kunai.
Jiraiya met his attack head-on, their kunai clashing in a shower of sparks.
Clang!
A sharp metallic sound echoed.
Jiraiya then launched a swift kick at Kouki.
To Jiraiya's astonishment, this simple kick sent Kouki sprawling to the ground.
However, as Kouki hit the ground, he instantly transformed into a log.
"Not good!"
Jiraiya instantly sensed danger, but it was already too late.
Slap!
A hand landed on his shoulder.
"Jiraiya, you've lost!"
A calm voice echoed, and Jiraiya turned to see the mysterious individual, Kouki, standing silently behind him.
"I lost. I admit defeat,"
Jiraiya was a gracious loser. Kouki's ability to use Body Replacement Technique to distract him and then silently appear behind him demonstrated a mastery of combat far beyond his own. He had been completely outmaneuvered.
