Chapter 57 - Chapter 56: The System Finally Appeared Again

Of course, Uchiha Hikaru hadn't been idle this past month—he'd learned a lot of new skills.

The Medical Tag he had originally conceptualized had now been successfully created.

He was just waiting for Mito Uzumaki to become Hokage so he could present it as a congratulatory gift—a surprise.

He had also filled many of his skill gaps over the past month, acquiring quite a few techniques.

In the world of the Hokage, strong bloodlines truly did grant strong talent—that wasn't just a saying.

And the Idle Training System had brought him some unexpected joys.

Although once a skill reached the blue grade, the idle speed for those techniques slowed down noticeably…

For skills below blue, however, the speed had actually increased.

Staring at his system panel, Uchiha Hikaru fell into deep thought.

In just this one month, the Idle Training System had produced four blue-grade skills.

The fact that Fireball Jutsu could idle-train directly into Flame Release had completely exceeded Uchiha Hikaru's expectations.

Flame Release was a bloodline limit derived from fire-style chakra—but the system didn't care about logic and just handed it to him outright.

This gave him a reliable offensive option in actual combat.

That said, Uchiha Hikaru had a gut feeling that his Flame Release Mastery level was still too low.

Otherwise, he might've been able to teach the skill to others by now.

Thanks to the idle system, he had grasped a lot of the underlying theory behind the technique.

So once his mastery rose high enough, he'd be able to replicate it onto someone else.

Of course, the prerequisite would be that person having Fire-natured chakra and a solid grasp of Nature Transformation.

As for Sealing Arts—truly worthy of being a Hokage-tier "cheat code" technique—even just reaching "mastery" had earned it a blue rating from the system.

Over the past month, it had occupied one of his idle slots non-stop, and Hikaru had also put in a ton of self-study. Otherwise, he never would've reached blue.

He also realized that even abilities of the same tier varied in strength.

But all the effort was worth it. Flame Release had only raised his battle power to just over 2000…

Whereas the moment Sealing Arts broke through to blue, his power skyrocketed to Super-Kage level.

That trick Mito Uzumaki once used in the meeting room—Hikaru could now pull it off himself.

After breaking through, a new skill appeared: Ninjutsu Scroll Crafting (Green).

And after some idle training, it quickly leveled up.

At green, this skill only allowed the crafting of ninjutsu scrolls below B-rank; blue raised it to A-rank and below.

Naturally, this was a teachable skill as well.

But as for who could actually learn it… probably only Mito Uzumaki.

That said, crafting the Medical Tag wasn't that difficult.

Learning how to do one specific thing was way easier than mastering the entire skill.

So thankfully, there was no "only Hikaru can make this" kind of situation.

Medical Proficiency (Blue) was something Uchiha Hikaru developed while preparing to create the Medical Tag. He realized many modern medical ninjutsu hadn't even been invented yet.

After all, the future number-one Medical Ninja in the world was still just a little brat at this point.

So it made sense that most medical techniques were still unavailable.

Unfortunately for Hikaru, this meant he had to temporarily replace Mangekyō Sharingan in his idle slots with a medical skill.

He only switched it back after the medical ability reached blue.

Still, in the grand scheme of things, the trade-off was absolutely worth it.

He not only filled in a huge number of gaps in medical knowledge but also created new medical ninjutsu accessible to Genin.

Sure, in the future, everyone seems to know Healing Palm Jutsu—but look at who actually uses it.

The truth was, Healing Palm Jutsu was an A-rank technique. Not just anyone could learn it.

But with his Medical Proficiency, Hikaru broke the skill down.

This massively reduced its learning difficulty—and even allowed it to be used through team cooperation.

Take the Precision Extraction Technique, for example. It would eventually be invented by Tsunade—but right now, barely anyone in the Shinobi World could use it.

But within Medical Proficiency, there were methods for several people to combine efforts and replicate the jutsu.

And unlike the skills mentioned earlier, the entry threshold for learning it was extremely low.

As long as you were a normally graduated Genin, you could learn it with a bit of training.

Honestly, if Uchiha Hikaru wanted to, there'd be no need for a future Tsunade at all.

He could be the new number-one Medical Ninja of the era.

Actually, during that same month, Hikaru had considered directly learning the legendary Flying Thunder God Technique—that flashy and powerful move.

But once he got his hands on it, he just… fell silent.

Because Flying Thunder God required deep mastery of Sealing Arts.

He had no choice but to go idle-train Sealing Arts first.

Now that he had mastered it, he could finally learn the technique.

He was confident that it wouldn't be long before it appeared in his skill list.

What really had Uchiha Hikaru lost in thought, though, were those system prompts.

They had clarified his current power level.

And made it explicitly clear—the system would continue evolving.

Not only could it evolve, but its future functions would expand even more.

It laid out exactly how to gain more idle slots and how to increase training speed.

Compared to the old cryptic riddles, this new system was a thousand times better.

That said, Hikaru still wanted to complain about the battle power description.

He suspected the system had read way too many web novels.

Just as Uchiha Hikaru was zoning out, Tsunade gave him a little tug.

The pull snapped him back to reality.

He turned toward her, puzzled.

He had just spaced out for a bit—why was she pulling him?

The next second, a flat voice rang out beside him:

"Little Hikaru, I just asked you something. Can you repeat what I said?"
