North Blue - Small Island, Four Months Later
Its been a cool months since Allumos came here I let him stay but I know he is hiding something on him
The distant wail of a Marine siren, growing louder with each passing second, sliced through the morning calm. Ayano, the young man whose days were now marked by Mr. Han's fresh bread and Scarlet's cheerful greetings, felt the familiar prickle of awareness from his training
As the marine sirens grew louder and louder
"Marine Captain Hunter is approaching the island!" A voice from the street confirmed Ayano's instincts. Captain Hunter. Even in the relative quiet of the North Blue, that name carried a weight of ruthlessness and strength. The usual placid routine of the town dissolved into frantic scurrying.
Allumos, who had been struggling with a piece of buttered toast, froze. The simple tunic he wore seemed to constrict him. His silver hair, still slightly dishevelled, looked like a stark contrast to the fear that bleached his normally disdainful face. The name "Hunter" seemed to rip through his façade of begrudging normalcy.
"Hunter?" he whispered, the curious he come out.
Hey it's our time to run ayano said
Really now I haven't even ate breakfast
Doesn't matter
As they ran around the island they came around to the Han's shop seeing scarlet running around with ice cream in her hand she runs into a buff man with an with an spear at his side
Hey yo brat learn where you step after saying that he went to kick her
Suddenly two flash went up one golden and the other silver
The silver light hit the man with the spear with a kick while the golden light grabbing the kid move to the shop
One loud voice Don't you
At the same time an cold chilled voice ᴰᵒⁿ'ᵗ ʸᵒᵘ
Both at the same time Dare ᵗᵒᵘᶜʰ ʰᵉʳ
The buff Marine soldier, caught off guard, stumbled backward with a grunt. The golden light that was Ayano deposited Scarlet behind Mr. Han's shop counter, his expression grim. Allumos, his face still pale, landed lightly from his kick, his normally sharp features now taut with a primal fear that warred with a fierce protectiveness. The air crackled with a silent tension that transcended the busy street.
The Marine, regaining his footing, glared at Allumos. "You little punk! You dare lay hands on a Marine?!" He hefted his spear, its tip glinting menacingly.
"He was going to hurt her," Allumos said, his voice low and devoid of its usual arrogance. His silver hair shimmered slightly, almost imperceptibly, as if energized by the confrontation.
Ayano stepped forward, putting himself between the Marine and the shop. "It was an accident," he said, his voice calm but firm. "She didn't see you.
"The Marine scoffed. "Accident or not, you interfered with an officer of the law. You'll be coming with me." The Marine took a step forward, spear raised.
The wailing siren reached its peak. A sleek Marine vessel, painted with the symbol of the World Government, docked quickly at the small island's pier. A tall, imposing figure stepped onto the dock. His dark blue coat billowed in the morning breeze. The Marine insignia on his shoulders gleamed. This was Captain Hunter.
Hunter's gaze swept over the bustling chaos of the island. Then, his eyes fixed on the small gathering near Han's shop. His eyes, sharp as a hawk's, fixed on Allumos, then to Ayano. He said nothing, but the intensity of his stare sent a shiver down Allumos's spine, far more chilling than the threat of the spear.
The Marine with the spear hesitated, then saluted Hunter. "Captain! These two interfered with my duty.
"Hunter merely raised a hand, silencing the Marine. He slowly approached, each step deliberate, until he stood mere feet away from Ayano and Allumos. He surveyed them both, a hint of something unreadable in his eyes.
"So," Hunter said, his voice deep and resonant, a quiet authority in every syllable, "we meet again, boy." He was looking directly at Allumos.
Allumos flinched, his fear now fully evident. Ayano glanced at him, a question in his eyes. "You know him?" he whispered.
Allumos didn't respond. His eyes were wide, fixed on Captain Hunter, as if the Marine represented a ghost from his past.
Hunter's gaze shifted to Ayano. "And you," he said, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips. "You're new. Foolish, perhaps, but certainly brave." He paused, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Tell me, boy, where do you stand in all of this?"
