CHAPTER FIVE
«
She wore a set of jewelry, ruby necklace,
bracelet and earring. The previous host love
to dye her hair different colors but this color
did fit her skin, her auburn hair tied in a
ponytail, white sandals on her delicate feet.
When she have time and got better she
really needed a spa, her body still ached and felt sore.
"Miss you look so beautiful "
"Hmm, the original host was indeed good
looking if it had been ancient times she
would have been a beauty capable to
topple kingdom and bring kings on their kneels.
"Take me to the study",
Lola push her out of the room, the whole
floor belong to Maya, well equipped game
room, gym, study, art room, she was
curious about painting and other hobbies
her father prepared all she needed but later
she lost interest and dumped it aside, the
attic at the topmost floor was her own
harbor where no one was allowed so many
things was there some from hobbies she
dumped, the original owner refused any
one from going there so it was left uncared for.
The study room was pushed open, wide and
spacious room, bookshelfs filled with well
organized books according to their
categories, the smell of books created a
comfortable ambience, a big sturdy table
made from mahogany stood at the center
with a chair, her laptop sat on the table, she
asked Lola to place it there, the original was
rarely here but the whole place was
sparkling clean no sign of dust and even the books well maintained.
"What is your qualifications "
" I,I studied office management at a third
rate college with schollarship". She look at
Miss Maya wondering why she asked, if
hadn't been to repay the her she would
have long resign to work in a company.
"Hmm. Observing Lola she found her to be
smart, intelligent, organized, kind,
hardworking and generous person she
needed some one like this in the future.
Thank Goodness that the original host also
studied the same course as her so others
won't find it suspicion when she decide to further in the future.
"From now onwards you will be my personal maid and assistant",
though there were other maids but Lola
treated the original host sincerely even with
her bad temper and lack of regards for her.
"The clothes I choose are all selected, here"
she passed them to lola, ask them to send it
directly to the estate, you can pay them
from my card she handed a black card to her.
"Yes miss"
"What time are we leaving for the hospital".
She checked the ipad
"By 12pm".
"Alright make arrangements by 11:30 we are leaving "
"Ok noted"
"You may leave, I hope you can try fit more
into your new role, your salary will be doubled".
"Thank you miss I will do my best"
she closed the door behind her and
excitedly called in some maids to the help
carry the packaged boxes to the the maids
lounge at the back of the estate.
The lounge were filed with maids resting on
the couch, apart from those on duty the rest
gathered her to gossip, play games with the
phones or look through social media. By the right was a coffee machine.
"What have you got there".
They looked at Lola with curiosity seeing her smiling face.
"It it the miss, Lola spoke hurriedly from excitement.
Their face turn sour with various expressions
Seeing their faces Lola explained, the Miss
cleared her closet today and asked me to
share the items in it among ourselves.
Several mouths hung open in shock
"A a- re you s s- sure it's really from the
miss, don't get me wrong I don't think you
have the guts to steal something from the
miss, just want to confirm. A timid maid spoke"
"Yea Lola tell us the truth, our hearts can't bear any shock
"Yes, the they agreed. How could Miss Maya
give them anything even if it's something
useless to her she would rather trash them.
The disgust in her eyes when she order
them around as though they were objects
or slaves not worth a glance from is quite palpable to everyone.
They never asked to be born this way to live
so lowly being made to feel inferior about themselves.
If they could go back to their mother womb,
they also wanted to live like a princess pampered and loved.
"Am not lying Miss asked us to share them
among us these six boxes contain clothes,
jewelry, some hair accessories, bags, ornament and others".
The boxes were open wide showing the view inside gasp rang out.
Wow ! The all wanted to rush to see them
when the Sharon the head maid stop them,
she was a old maid here and have always
work deligently and is well respected by the
maids and even the masters. In her Younger
days the madam had helped her and since
then being loyal to the Smith's never
overstepping her bounderies or misusing her authority.
Alright settle down everyone I will bring out
the items one by one and decide how to share it.
"So many expensive items
"Wow! so beautiful! This should be a limited
edition spring outfit from two years ago and even last season, I
saw at a fashion magazine and fell in love
with it, from the clothes to every other thing
the least price should be four figures, with
the miss extravagant lifestyle cheap items won't catch her eyes .
Everything was shared, for those who shape
didn't match the clothes bags or jewelry of
equal price was given to them, those who
weren't there their stuff was kept for them.
Lola got more of the itemsthan everyone.

If she had kept them all for herself or sold
them in some second hand stores, she
would have made a lot but rather thought
to share. Some of them felt deep gratitude
towards her others though jealous still wore kind smiles.
