Seeing the sacrifice of their comrades on the battlefield evey survivors eyes were full of tears
As soon as the shield formation broke , everyone gripped their rifles and started shooting
The already chaotic scene became even more chaotic , in the end all that remain were dead
About 5000 soldiers of Oscar managed to escape and all remaining died , Ash troops were not better as ash lost about 3800 soldiers in one night
Meanwhile in one of the craters formed by grenade , one could faintly see a metal box visible beneath the ground and it started glowing red as soon as the blood of a dead soldier began to fall on it
the glow force removed all the soil from above it and the metal box now like a metal coffin began to shake

The metal coffin lid opened from inside and from it came a man in black noble outfit , his skin was pale white and he has long Raven hair with black abyys like eyes
He stretched himself up and said in a low voice
" How much time has it been , huh "
He then opened his eyes and saw a battlefield
, blood and smoke was in all directions, purple burned corpses were everywhere
" Looks like i woke up because of the blood from this battlefield or here i thought my descendants would wake me up "
He went up and examined a corpse and checked his uniform and symbol on his uniform
" Looks close to Ravenfield symbol and this greyish black colour too symbolises it "
He then used his sharp eyes to search for survivors and then he found a group of people in the trenches south to him
He without any care went towards that Direction
Meanwhile soldiers were too busy searching for survivors of Oscar army so they didn't notice him untill they spot him at first
Seeing his clothes colour they thought him to be a comrade but soon get to know that it was someone else so they started shooting him but that figure vanished instantly and appeared behind them and grabbed one by the throat and said in a low voice
" Are you Ravenfield troops ? "
His voice was menacing so much so that all soldiers felt the dread coming from him but still kept their aim towards him
The soldier taken hostage replied in a low voice replied
" Ye..Yesss "
He dropped the soldier on the ground and said
" How many years has it been since the founding of atlas empire ? "
Soldiers said while coughing
" 401 years "
Then like a madam he began to laugh and said
" It's been 370 years huh and my descendants didn't even found any clue to wake me up huh "
Then he disappeared into the ground leaving black smoke behind
Meanwhile in the palace of Ravenfield
The same man appeared outside and saw the grandeur of the palace , he clicked hsi tongue and said
" While i was sleeping , those brats were spending all their money on this palace and living in luxury "
He tried to enter the palace but was halted by the guards but he just vanished and appeared outside the throne room
Guards who tried to stop him were stunned and immediately rang the alarms
Inside the throne room , Ash was sitting on the throne and discussing post war plans with his trusted generals and officers
All officers were sure that it will be a peerless victory like the last one so they were already drinking beer , and overall everyone was enjoying
Then suddenly huge door to the throne room burst open and they saw a man in seemingly noble black clothes and looks which were quite similar to ash
Pin drop silence came , everyone was stunned that who was this man that dared to do this
Guards tried to apprehend him but suddenly a suffocating red aura came and many guards and officers dropped to their knees
Even ash felt suffocation but mustered the courage to ask
" Who are you ? "
The stranger replied " you can't even recognise me , I am your ancestor Asher Ravenfield "
Everyone looked at him again and was stunned, actually there indeed used to be a painting of Asher Ravenfield but was sold for mere pennies by the previous ash
And now he can't even confirm his identity because old ash treated it like worthless trash
Seeing they were not believing him Asher took out a pendent and showed it , it was the symbol of Ravenfield dukedom

Asher and ash then had quite a talk , ash told about the current situation of the territory to which Asher replied
" So even emperor has betrayed us , but don't worry from what I heard from you we have enough troops and you are also ready to conquer the neighbouring territory so let's establish a kingdom after that
You become the king and help me persue my goals ,in return I too will help train your soldiers because they are weak and there is not even a single knight among you

ash was happy because now his troops could become knights and train in aura which will help them greatly
But ash was still doubting whether he should train knights because it was extremely costly and timetaking process
Seeing ash expression Asher understood and suddenly gripped his hand and they both vanished in black smoke
Asher took them to the recent battlefield and placed ash to the ground and ash saw the purple burned body and the grounds which had turned black , he saw faces that he will never forget
He saw the soldiers he met during his visit to trenches, he saw them their eyes wide open
Even though ash knew that these Soldiers were just system summons , but still he couldn't stand this scene
Regret came in him and slowly it turned to a fire which wanted revenge
Seeing the look in his eyes ,Asher smiled and said
" See that's what happen when soldiers are weak and you and their leader is drinking and enjoying on his throne while they were dying , you know you don't deserve their loyalty , i honestly don't know what they saw in your so much so that they are giving their lives here
But please don't misplace their trust because even a single soldier life matter "
These words will be the words ash will never forget
